Definitions
- the invention relates to a process for the preparation of dye liquors for the dyeing or post-treatment of textiles which continuously pass through one or more dyeing chambers connected in series with heated dye liquors, with the use of deflection systems in each case a specific section of the textile which always runs in the same direction in the Chambers treated with the liquor.
- a disadvantage of the known method is that so-called color auxiliaries which have a catalytic action and which promote and promote the application of the color to the textiles in connection with the heating of the dye liquor must be used for color adhesion. As a result, the dye liquor cannot be used up completely. Rather, there is a residue of up to 20% that has to be disposed of. The creation of a disposal share is not desirable for environmental reasons alone, quite apart from the fact that this creates additional costs.
- the invention is accordingly based on the object of providing a method and a device of the type mentioned at the outset with which it is possible to keep the disposal fraction as low as possible and, if appropriate, to do without coloring aids altogether.
- the dye liquor is subjected to a constantly repeating exchange by removal from the dyeing chamber and reintroduction during the passage of a textile section, the dye liquor removed being filtered and cleaned and, after additional dye supply, subjected to a steam treatment in which the additional water associated with the dye supply is evaporated again.
- the process according to the invention can be used without problems in the continuous production of colored textiles.
- the frequency of the fleet exchange is expediently chosen so that a fleet exchange of 30 to 60 times takes place during the passage of a textile section with a length of approximately 300 m. In this way, the textile section is subjected to renewed application of color every 50 m with exchanged dye liquor.
- the throughput speed of the textile section can be about 10 to 20 m per minute. With this throughput speed and the resulting throughput length, the overall performance of the system is normally achieved.
- the dye liquor exchange is of course only an application of ink with a dye liquor which has been removed from the dyeing chamber and filtered and cleaned or processed in the manner described below and then returned to the dyeing chamber at another point.
- a particular advantage of the method and the device according to the invention is therefore that due to the supply of prepared, that is, cleaned and filtered, liquor of the same substance, the introduction of coloring aids for coloring, as in the known arrangements, can be dispensed with entirely.
- This has the further great advantage that the dye liquor can be used again and again in the cycle, with its amount only reducing to the extent that certain residues of the dye liquor remain in the textile.
- the application of color aids is completely unnecessary. Accordingly, these need neither be supplied nor disposed of in any way, which has the further advantage that the textiles themselves no longer have to be subjected to post-treatment by the retailer or consumer; washing out is no longer necessary.
- Another advantage is that when using the method according to the invention only a single installation is required for all dyeing and finishing stages, so that intermediate drying of the textile can also be avoided.
- the textile piece is moved through the dye liquor
- the dye liquor and the textile are moved in a particularly advantageous manner, i.e. this only insofar as the feed through the system requires it.
- the dye liquor replacement according to the invention therefore makes it possible to dye these, particularly in the case of particularly dense textiles, without changing the advantages mentioned, for example by directing high-pressure nozzles inside the dyeing chamber onto the textile and introducing the prepared dye liquor into the textile via these nozzles becomes.
- the high pressure nozzles can work with a pressure of 16 bar.
- a differential pressure is formed between two chambers, and this pressure can also be used to subject dense textiles to the penetration of the dye liquor into their fabric components.
- the preparation of the dye liquor is used for cleaning in a manner known per se, in that the dye liquor is filtered in order to remove impure constituents from the dye liquor, i.e. also those loose components that are left over from residues in textile production. Filtering is also intended to remove pesticides and other toxins from the textile, whereby the dye liquor can be treated up to ultrafiltration.
- Another task of liquor preparation is an additional dye supply, which of course must not lead to a higher liquid content, in particular a higher water content. For this reason, the paint fleet subjected to a steam treatment in which the additional water associated with the dye supply is evaporated again, so that the conditions remain unchanged despite the dye supply. Thus, with the steam treatment, a certain amount of water is fed to the dye liquor together with the dye, which is removed again in the form of steam, so that the relative amounts of liquor / water remain unchanged.
- the steam development is carried out directly from the liquor to be exchanged, so that the medium is the steam developed from the liquor itself.
- This steam generated in this way can be used simultaneously in the first treatment stage, that is to say in the dyeing chamber, in order, for example, to facilitate and improve the application of the color to the textiles.
- the steam does not contain any dye, so that clean steam can be obtained from the dye liquor.
- the preparation according to the invention consequently makes it possible to use the same dye liquor over very long periods of time. Due to the dye liquor preparation in the manner described above, a fresh, i.e. revised and cleaned paint fleet available. Since the process according to the invention produces steam which is pure and forms clear water in its condensation, it is possible to use this clear water for other color levels within the same system.
- a device for carrying out the method according to the invention is therefore a processing system for the dye liquor to be exchanged in each case.
- the device consists of two essentially annularly arranged heat exchanger elements, of which the outer ring is connected to the liquor and the inner ring with heating pipes which serve to generate steam by being exposed to part of the liquor. This portion is already so thin due to the steam development that the color portion compared to the Initial color fleet is reduced.
- the inner ring forms a steam pipe, with a cylindrical upper section and a lower section; the color liquor changes into pure steam with increasing steam development in the upper section of the tube.
- the processing device can be provided with an additional heater, which can consist of an oil heater, an electric heater or the like, which is accommodated in pipes which are arranged in the bottom region of the device.
- an additional heater which can consist of an oil heater, an electric heater or the like, which is accommodated in pipes which are arranged in the bottom region of the device.
- the entire device is provided with insulation, a double jacket which is filled with water being arranged between the inner evaporation tube and the outer annular liquor chamber , whereby the water continuously flows through the double jacket when cold (approx. 20 ° C).
- the flow is caused by a pump, the flow rate of the water being adjustable so that the temperature to be maintained can be set precisely on the basis of the flow rate. It is therefore also easy to set the temperatures required for different colors.
- the heating area which is connected to the steam pipe, is enlarged, so that the part of the liquor that enters this heating area can be supplied to the evaporation relatively quickly.
- compressed air can also be introduced into the evaporation tube.
- a textile tape 1 to be dyed is unwound from a supply roll 2 and fed via a stand device 3, in which it is deflected several times, to a plurality of dyeing chambers 4 connected in series, in which the textile strip is deflected, in order to ensure a continuous passage through the dyeing chambers 4 to allow a relatively large length of the textile tape to be dyed.
- the textile belt 1 is then fed to a drying chamber 5, in which it is also deflected several times in order to finally to be wound up on another supply roll 6.
- the middle section of the system with the dyeing chambers 4, in which the textile tape 1 is dyed, is important for the invention.
- the individual continuously running textile strip preferably has a length of about 300 m, whereby - as provided according to the invention - a dye liquor exchange takes place about 30 to 60 times during the passage of such a strip.
- each of the dye liquors or dyeing chambers 4 is assigned dye liquor cleaning devices 7, to which the dye liquor to be cleaned and reprocessed is fed from top to bottom in the direction of the arrows 9 via intermediate storage means 8, with an evaporation device 10 for the cleaning devices in each of the exemplary embodiments shown here 7 is assigned.
- Fig. 2 shows one of the evaporation devices in detail.
- the liquor to be exchanged is fed in the direction of arrow 11 via a schematically indicated fleet testing and dosing device 12, which has several chambers, and via hydrogenation devices 13 to an annular jacket space 14, which has a relatively thick-walled insulating layer 15 on the outside and a heat exchanger on the inside 16 is provided.
- the heat exchanger 16 surrounds heating tubes 17 arranged in a circle (see FIG. 3), through which the dye liquor components contained in the heat exchanger 16 are heated so that a water portion evaporates and is discharged to the outside in the direction of the arrow 18 and the dyeing chambers 4 (see FIG. 1 ) is fed again.
- the annular heat exchanger 16 consists of an upper section 16a of cylindrical shape, which is adjoined by a lower section 16b, which has a conical shape in order to cover a larger quantity range of the ink liquor 19.
- Compressed air can be supplied to the overall arrangement via a line 20 coming from below in order to promote the flow upwards and, if necessary in the case of denser textiles, it can be subjected to a high pressure application of color.
- additional heating in the form of additional heating tubes 21 arranged in the bottom area can be provided.
- the paint liquor can be supplemented by a liquor feed line 22 coming from below and acted upon by a pump.
