Description

The invention relates to a tubular bag pack with opening aid for lumpy packaged goods with a sleeve which is formed from a flat, foldable packaging material and which has a fin in which two strip-shaped edge regions of the packaging material are connected to one another on their inner sides within a connecting region by a peelable cold seal.

A tubular bag pack of this type is known from WO 91/13005 by the applicant. In the tubular bag packs described there, the opening aids consist in the fact that both strip-shaped edge areas are each provided with a handle that is pulled apart with both hands, whereby the cold seal connection between the two edge zones is separated and an opening is formed in the pack, through which one can then removes the packaged goods.

A disadvantage of this known opening aid is that both hands are required for its actuation and that the handles necessary for opening are usually not immediately recognizable to a consumer who is still unfamiliar with the pack without special explanations or instructions. In addition, the opening process is in some cases associated with damage to the packaging material, making it difficult to remove the packaged goods.

Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention, as characterized in the claims, solves the problem of creating a tubular bag package with opening aid, in which only one hand is required for opening and the manipulation required for opening can be easily recognized.

The invention is explained in more detail below using two examples with reference to the figures.

Fig. 1 shows a partial perspective view of a tubular bag package, such as e.g. can be used for permanent baked goods or chocolate bars. As in the other figures, the packaging material is exaggeratedly thick to improve the display. The pack has - as is customary in tubular bag packs - a fin 1 and at both ends two fins 2 running transversely to the fin 1, of which only one can be seen in the partial illustration of FIG. 1. The fin 1 or the fin 2 form essentially perpendicular to each other packaging film areas in which two strip-shaped edge areas 3 of the packaging film are connected to each other in a connection area by cold sealing on the surface side normally facing the packaged goods 18.

In contrast to conventional tubular bag packs, which - especially for the fins - have connecting areas which extend over the length of the two strip-shaped edge areas 3 to be connected to one another, in the tubular bag pack according to the invention the connecting area in the form of two at the fin 2 is the strip-shaped one at both ends Sub-regions 4 (indicated by a dashed outline in FIG. 1) are formed between edge regions, between which an unsealed central region 5 lies.

For the complete gas-tight connection of the two edge areas 3, an adhesive label 6 is used, which after the production of the basic shape of the tubular bag pack (ie after the formation of the fin 2) is first applied to the outside of one of the two edge areas 3 with the formation of an adhesive connection of high adhesive force, such that that the adhesive label 6 covers the unsealed central area 5 and also slightly overlaps the two partial areas 4 of the connecting area (19). Then the adhesive label 6 is folded in the direction of arrow 7 around the fin edge 8 and the area 9 provided with a peelable adhesive application is also connected to the opposite fin surface 10, an edge area 11 not provided with the adhesive coating not being glued to the fin surface 10 and thereby forms a grip tab 12. This state is shown in the sectional view of FIG. 2, which is an enlarged sectional view along the line 11-11 of FIG. 1. Subsequently, hot-melt points 14 (see FIG. 2) are applied to the surface 13 of the packaging envelope at the end of the pack on the side of the fin 6 opposite the grip tab 12 (see FIG. 2) and the fin immediately thereafter in the direction of the arrow 15 (see FIG. 2) ) folded onto the packaging envelope and thereby glued to the envelope surface 13 by the hot melt application (FIG. 3). To open the now finished tubular bag pack, as shown in FIG. 3, as is immediately clear to the user, the grip tab 12 is gripped with one hand and pulled upwards in the direction of the arrow 16. First, the peelable adhesive connection between adhesive label 6 and fin 2 and then the two partial areas 4 of the connecting area of fin 2 is peeled off and finally - after the hot melt connection between fin 2 and package cover surface 13 has been separated - the end of the tubular bag package is unfolded, so that the now opened tubular bag package, as shown in Fig. 4.

According to a variant of the tubular bag pack according to the invention (see FIG. 5), an edge region 17 of the adhesive label 6 is unfolded by 180 ° on the fin side to be glued to the package cover surface 13, so that this edge region 17 has the desired adhesive connection with the flap 2 when it is folded over Pack envelope surface 13 is received.
