Abstract

Dispositif (1) de prélèvement de frottis vaginal utilisé dans la détection de cellules cancéreuses dans le col de l'utérus (2) de la femme; ledit dispositif comprend une tête de prélèvement (5) adaptée pour venir en contact avec la surface du col de l'utérus et effectuer un raclage pour prélever des cellules échantillons. Une poignée allongée (6) permet la rotation et la manipulation à distance de la tête de prélèvement; la poignée comprend en plus une tige de sondage (10) positionnée d'une manière générale axialement à partir de la poignée pour permettre l'insertion dans le col de l'utérus et prélever des cellules échantillons de l'intérieur du col de l'utérus. Une partie support (13) relativement rigide s'étend vers l'extérieur à partir de la poignée ou de la tige et une partie plane (14) relativement flexible s'étend entre la tige et la partie support pour définir une lame de frottement (15) flexible adaptée pour racler et prélever des cellules échantillons de l'extérieur du col de l'utérus. La lame (15) s'adapte de manière flexible et précise aux contours de la surface de l'extérieur du col de l'utérus, tout en maintenant un angle de raclage efficace lors de la rotation et de la manipulation de la tête de prélèvement.
