Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Spielzeug-Baustein, bestehend aus einem auf der Unterseite im wesentlichen offenen Gehäuse, wobei auf der Gehäuse-Oberseite mindestens eine Reihe von Noppen vorgesehen ist.
  • Bausteine der eingangs genannten Art sind allgemein unter der Bezeichnung "Lego-Bausteine" bekannt. Derartige Bausteine besitzen auf der Gehäuse-Oberseite runde Noppen zur klemmbaren Aufnahme jeweils eines weiteren Steines. Auf seiner Unterseite ist das Gehäuse eines derartigen Bausteines geöffnet, um die Noppen eines weiteren Steines klemmbar aufnehmen zu können.
  • Nachteilig hieran ist jedoch, daß der Einsatzbereich derartiger Bausteine beschränkt ist. Ein Spielzeug-Baustein. der vielseitiger verwendbar ist, zeichnet sich erfindungsgemäß dadurch aus, daß die vertikalen Gehäuseseiten ebenfalls jeweils mit Noppen versehen sind. Hierdurch wird die Möglichkeit geschaffen, daß die Bausteine nicht nur, wie nach dem Stand der Technik, horizontal übereinander angeordnet, sondern auch vertikal miteinander verbunden werden können.
  • Im einzelnen weist jede Noppe, die vorteilhaft quadratisch ausgebildet ist, auf ihrer Oberseite an jeder Kante eine nach außen auslaufende Phase auf. Die Phase dient zur Zentrierung beim Verbinden von zwei Steinen. Nach einem weiteren vorteilhaften Merkmal besitzt darüber hinaus jede Noppe an jeder Kante eine nach innen auslaufende Phase. Hierdurch wird, insbesondere in Verbindung mit der nach außen auslaufenden Phase, eine umlaufende Kante gebildet. Vorteilhaft weist die vertikale Gehäuseinnenwandung zumindest im Bereich der Noppen nach innen sich erstreckende Vorsprünge auf, wobei jeder Vorsprung an der entsprechenden Phase des Noppens anliegt. D. h. es wird eine quasi formschlüssige Verbindung erzeugt, durch die zwar eine relativ hohe Klemmkraft erreicht wird, die aber dennoch leicht zu lösen ist, weil lediglich nur noch der durch die Kante gebotene Widerstand überwunden werden muß. Im einzelnen beträgt sowohl der Winkel der nach innen auslaufenden Phase als auch der des Vorsprungs etwa 50; die Höhe der Noppen beträgt zwischen 0,5 und 2,0 mm, jedoch vorzugsweise etwa 1,0 mm. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß insbesondere bei einer Höhe von 1,0 mm die Fertigungskosten niedrig gehalten werden können und auch die Handhabung der Steine optimal ist.
  • Zur zusätzlichen Fixierung der Steine aufeinander sind im Gehäuse-Inneren Stege vorgesehen, die sich vertikal von der Gehäuse-Oberseite bis zur Gehäuse-Unterseite erstrecken. Vorteilhaft ist der Steg T-förmig ausgebildet, wobei der horizontale Schenkel des T-förmig ausgebildeten Steges etwa dem Abstand von zwei Noppen zueinander entspricht und der horizontale Schenkel des T-förmig ausgebildeten Steges daher klemmend von zwei Noppen erfaßt wird.
    • Fig. 1 zeigt den Baustein in einer Seitenansicht;
    • Fig. 2 zeigt den Baustein in einer Ansicht auf die Unterseite;
    • Fig. 3 zeigt in vergrößerter Darstellung eine Noppe mit angedeuteter Gehäusewandung.
  • Gemäß der Fig. 1 und 2 besteht der insgesamt mit 1 bezeichnete Baustein aus einem unten offenen Gehäuse 2, das sowohl auf der Oberseite als auch auf den vertikalen Seitenflächen Noppen 3 besitzt. Im Gehäuse selbst befinden sich zwei T-förmig ausgebildete Stege 4 (Fig. 2), wobei der horizontale Teil 4a des Steges 4 eine seitliche Erstreckung aufweist, die dem Abstand von zwei Noppen 3 entspricht. D.h., der horizontale Teil 4a des Steges 4 wird durch zwei Noppen 3 klemmend erfaßt. Die übrigen Noppen 3 werden durch die Gehäuse-Wandung 2a klemmend aufgenommen.
  • Eine vergrößerte Darstellung einer Noppe ergibt sich aus Fig. 3; die Noppe 3 besitzt eine zunächst nach außen auslaufende Phase 3a, die der Zentrierung beim Zusammenstecken zweier Steine dient, und die in eine nach innen auslaufende Phase 3b unter Bildung einer Kante 3c übergeht. Die an der Gehäuseinnenwandung angeordneten Vorsprünge 2b besitzen korrespondierend zu dem Winkel der Phase der Noppen ebenfalls einen Winkel von 50, so daß der Vorsprung 2b und die Phase 3b ineinandergreifen und die Flächen aneinander anliegen.

Claims (10)

1. Spielzeug-Baustein, bestehend aus einem auf der Unterseite im wesentlichen offenen Gehäuse, wobei auf der Gehäuse-Oberseite mindestens eine Reihe von Noppen vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vertikalen Gehäuseseiten (2a) ebenfalls mit Noppen (3) versehen sind.
2. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Noppe (3) in etwa quadratisch ausgebildet ist.
3. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Noppe (3) auf seiner Oberseite an jeder Kante eine nach außen auslaufende Phase (3a) aufweist.
4. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Noppe (3) an jeder Kante eine nach innen auslaufende Phase (3b) aufweist.
5. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Winkel der nach innen auslaufenden Phase (3b) etwa 5 ° beträgt..
6. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Höhe eines Noppens (3) zwischen o,5 und 2,0 mm, vorzugsweise jedoch 1,0 mm beträgt.
7. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Gehäuse-Inneren Stege (4) vorgesehen sind, die sich vertikal von der Gehäuse-Oberseite bis zur Gehäuse-Unterseite erstrecken.
8. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Steg (4) T-förmig ausgebildet ist, wobei der horizontale Schenkel (4a) des T-förmig ausgebildeten Steges (4) etwa dem Abstand von zwei Noppen (3) entspricht.
9. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vertikale Gehäuseinnenwandung zumindest im Bereich der Noppen (3) nach innen sich erstreckende Vorsprünge (2b) aufweist, wobei jeder Vorsprung (2b) an der Phase (3b) des Noppens (3) anliegt.
10. Spielzeug-Baustein nach Anspruch 9 dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Vorsprung (2b) einen Winkel von 5 ° aufweist.
