Definitions

  • the invention relates to a clip according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a clip file folder provided with such a clip, which has two folder covers joined together along a folded edge.
  • one or more sheets of paper forming a stack can be releasably fixed in the folder by clamping without the need for measures on the paper sheets themselves, such as punching, which often mean undesired, irreparable changes to the sheets.
  • Staples and folder files of the type mentioned are known for example from DE 89 09 998 U1 and DE 89 10 130 U1.
  • the clip is moved in a rectilinear translational movement perpendicular to the fold edge of the clip folder in the area of a window thereof between a clamping position and a release position.
  • the clip is held captive on the folder also in the release position, lateral extensions or thickened portions or counter-hooking strips cooperating with the folded edge are provided along the folded edge area encompassed by the clip.
  • the clamp with its clamping, free longitudinal edges, grips the rear folder cover and a slat part arranged on the front in the window area along its folded edge.
  • the free longitudinal edge of the upper leg can be provided with an inclined surface which, with the lower clip leg, forms a V-shaped mouth that extends along the entire length of the clip, the free longitudinal edge of the lower leg extending over that of the upper leg protrudes.
  • a clip folder is already on the market, in which the associated clip is pivotally articulated on the rear folder cover.
  • the free longitudinal edges of the clip legs which define the clamping gap between them, run at a small, constant distance from one another over their entire length.
  • the two clip legs are connected to one another by a continuous back, and the lower leg has an extension at one end, which contains an opening by means of which the clip is pivotably held on the rear folder cover, e.g. riveted is.
  • the clip can be swiveled out of its clamping position, in which it is located within a window cut out on the front folder cover, by approximately 90 ° into a release position in which it completely releases previously clamped sheets inserted into the folder and in particular no folder parts anymore are located in the clamping gap between the free longitudinal edges of the clamp legs.
  • US Pat. No. 1,557,550 discloses a U-shaped clip attached to the back of a folder for receiving a stack of paper, the legs of which are bent outwards towards an end for easy lateral insertion of a stack of paper.
  • the distance between the staple legs decreases towards the free longitudinal edges, which, in conjunction with a widening of the edge thereof caused by a binding or stapling of the sheet stack, prevents the sheet stack from moving out of the staple through the open longitudinal side of the staple.
  • a generic bracket is shown in the design document DE 1 245 904.
  • the clip is pivotally articulated on a clip folder by means of an end extension on one leg, the back of the clip extending along the entire length of the other, shorter leg.
  • the end of the clip back facing the articulation point strikes the folder back when the clip is pivoted out and thereby limits the pivoting movement in such a way that the end face of the shorter leg facing the articulation point still partially overlaps the folder cover so that the fold edge of the folder itself does not fall into when the clip is pivoted in Need to thread gap between the staple legs.
  • the corner on the front end of the shorter clip leg facing the articulation point is slightly bent.
  • the folder cover of the associated clip folder can be opened regardless of the position of the clip by a line offset inwards relative to the folded edge with the folder bottom, whereby the left-hand margin of inserted sheets remains covered by the cover and the latter comes to rest on the clip when the folder is opened.
  • the invention is based on the technical problem of providing a clip and a clip file folder provided with it, which enables convenient, trouble-free and captive handling of the clip on the folder file as well as releasing inserted, clamped sheets in the different conditions of use of the folder.
  • the ones to be clamped can be clamped Insert parts comfortably and reliably into the clamp without the parts to be clamped hitting the free longitudinal edges of the legs that define the clamping gap, which could result in damage to the folder in its area on the folded edge in long-term use. Furthermore, the back is shortened, which creates a slot. As a result, the clamp can be swung out of the clamped position so far, for example by approx.
  • the arrangement of the insertion mouth is particularly advantageous in combination with a pivotable articulation of the clip on the clip folder, which is provided as an extension of this front end, since the folder cover or sheets and the inner sheets are then automatically inserted into the insertion mouth of the clip first when the clip is from a release position is pivoted into the clamping position.
  • the insertion mouth consequently serves as an insertion aid not only when it is brought into the clamping position for the first time, but also in all subsequent clampings during use of the folder.
  • a recess is provided on the rear longitudinal edge of the leg which contains the means for the pivotable mounting.
  • Damage to the folded edge in this area by pivoting the clip out is preferably avoided in that the recess on its side facing the means for the pivotable mounting from a rectilinear section of the longitudinal edge of the second leg associated with the longitudinal direction of the back forms an acute angle is limited. This causes a gentle, line-hard striking of this straight clamp section against the folded edge when the clamp is swung out.
  • grip knobs on the half of the clamp facing away from the swivel axis, which provide a grip surface for swiveling out and in.
  • the bracket (1) shown separately in FIGS. 1 to 6 has an essentially U-shaped cross section, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 4, and has a first leg (2) and a second leg (3) which are connected to one another on the longitudinal side via a back (4).
  • This connection is elastic due to the material selected for the clip, preferably plastic or metal, such that the two legs (2, 3) unfold a clamping effect by means of their free longitudinal edges (6, 7), the latter between them along the largest Define a clamping gap (10) over part of its length.
  • the free longitudinal edge (6) of the first leg (2) is formed so as to spring back towards that (7) of the essentially flat, second leg (3) towards an end (8) at the front, whereby the clamping gap (10) becomes an insertion mouth ( 9) expanded. Due to the constantly increasing distance (a) of the two free longitudinal edges (6, 7) from one another towards the front end (8) of the first leg (2), the insertion mouth (9) ensures that the material to be introduced is securely inserted and then clamped in the clamping gap ( 10). The gradual widening in the region of the insertion mouth (9) results particularly clearly from the cross sections of FIGS. 4 to 6. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the insertion mouth (9) extends over a length of approximately 20% of the length of the free Long edge (6) of the first leg (2).
  • the first leg (2) which is curved in the area of the clamping gap (10), finally runs with its end face (8) facing the insertion mouth (9) essentially plane-parallel to the second leg (3).
  • the maximum distance between the free longitudinal edges (6, 7) of the clamp legs (2, 3) formed at this front end (8), i.e. the opening width of the insertion mouth (9) corresponds approximately to the height (h) of the back (4) connecting the legs (2, 3), as can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 3.
  • the second leg (3) is extended beyond the front end (8) of the first leg (2), this extension (11) having an opening (12) as a means for pivotally holding the clamp, through which, for example, a rivet sleeve for storage through which the clip can be pivoted about an axis (13) perpendicular to the plane of the second leg (3).
  • the back (4) connecting the two legs (2, 3), as can be seen in particular from FIG. 3, does not extend to the front end (8) of the first leg (2) located on the insertion mouth (9), but already ends at a distance from it at about the height at which the clamping gap (10) on the front of the clip in the insertion mouth (9) passes over.
  • a correspondingly deep slot (14) is formed on the back of the two legs (2, 3).
  • the rear longitudinal edge (16) of the second leg (3) is approximately at the level of the front end (8) of the first leg (2) at the level between the back end (17) delimiting the slot (14) and the opening (12) for the pivoting bracket holder ) with a semicircular recess (15), as can be seen particularly clearly from FIG. 2.
  • FIGS. 7 to 11 show a clip file folder (20) with this clip (1) in various functional positions.
  • FIGS. 7 and 8 show the front and rear view of the closed clip folder (20), which is made up of a front (22) and a rear folder cover (23), each preferably made of plastic or cardboard, which along a folded edge (21 ) are hingedly connected to each other.
  • the clip (1) described in FIGS. 1 to 6 is pivotally fixed to the rear folder cover (23) with a rivet which extends through the opening (12).
  • the clamp (1) is in its clamping position (24), in which the first, upper leg (2) is located within a window (25) which is cut out approximately centrally in the front folder cover (22) along the folded edge (21) and forms a strip is located so that the back (4) of the clip (1) runs approximately along the fold edge (21).
  • Fig. 9 shows the clip folder (20) in plan view also in the closed state, but with the clip (1) swung out of the clip position (24) into a - first - release position (27).
  • the release position (27) achieved by swiveling through 90 ° is particularly favorable since then the end face (8) of the shorter, first leg (2) facing the swiveling opening (12) parallel outside the folded edge (21 ) comes to rest, whereby the front folder cover (22) can be opened not only in the clamping position (24), but also in this first release position of the clip (1) for the purpose of opening the folder (20) by 180 ° along the folded edge (21) , after which the folder contents are loose and completely visible.
  • a lamella part (26) is formed in one piece with the folder covers (22, 23) by cutting out of the front folder cover (22), whereby the window (25) forms in the first folder cover (22).
  • the lamella part (26) serves as a sliding aid for the clamp (1) to be swung in the window area for the purpose of clamping one or more stacks forming paper sheets (5), so that the second, lower clamp leg (3) is in the clamp position (24) rear folder cover (23) and the front, first clamp leg (2) engages around the lamella part (26).
  • the clamp (1) presses the lamella part (26) which is foldably connected to the rear folder cover (23) in the region of the folder fold edge (21) along a connecting line (30) against this folder cover (23) or against one or more paper sheets ( 5), which are inserted between the slat part (26) and the rear folder cover (23), the connecting line (30) of the slat part (26) and the rear folder cover (23) serving as a stop.
  • the lamella part (26) is no longer acted upon by the clip (1) and therefore can also be folded down freely if necessary, after which the inserted sheet (s) (5) can be seen and handled over the entire surface.
  • the sheet stack (5) can again be clamped in the folder (20) by holding the clip (1).
  • the clamp folder (20) can also be pivoted out of the clamped position (24) into one in this opened state - Second - release position (28) possible.
  • the rear folder cover (23) and the lamella part (26) of the clip (1) are then only encompassed by their non-clamping insertion mouth (9), so that in this position (28) the clip ( 1) the one or more paper sheets (5) lie loosely between the lamella part (26) and the rear folder cover (23) and can be removed or supplemented by further sheets.
  • This releasing pivoting out of the clamp (1) by at least about 45 ° is achieved through the rear slot (14) of the clamp (1).
  • the upper transverse boundary (29) of the window (25) is received by the slot (14) without bumping against the back (4), and the clip (1) can be pivoted out until the recessed back end (17) against the assigned one Corner area of the window (25) comes to rest.
  • the second release position (28) thus achieved is sufficient, as stated above, to allow the release of the paper (5) previously held securely by clamping. It is clear that it is also possible in this case to clamp the paper sheet or sheets (5) again by pivoting the clip (1) into its clamping position (24).
  • the disclosed use of the clip (1) for the clip file folder (20) allows the clip (1) to be pivoted between the clip position (24) and a - third - release layer (31), ie the loosening and reclamping on the rear folder cover (23) overlying paper (5), even when the clip folder (20) is in the folded state, in which the front folder cover (22) is turned around by 360 ° along the folded edge (21), so that the respective outer sides of both folder covers (22, 23 ) come to rest against each other. Also in this third release position (31), as shown in FIG.
  • the clamp (1) is pivoted out of the clamping position (24) by approximately 45 °, which, as stated above, is sufficient for the paper sheet (s) 5 to release the clamping effect, which only occurs in the area of the clamping gap (10), but not in the area of the insertion mouth (9), and to enable it to be removed or inserted.
  • the upper, window-side folded edge (32) is received by the semicircular recess (15) on the lower, second clamp leg (3), which pivots the Only with the folder cover (22) folded over, the clamp (1) is enabled or damage to the folded edge (21) in this area is avoided by the pivoting out of the clamp (1).
  • the insertion mouth (9) both inserting the lamellar part (26), the rear folder cover (23) and of the intermediate paper (5) helps and limits the clamping gap (10) in such a way that its clamping effect on the inserted paper sheets (5) is already possible when swung out by approx. 45 °, as is possible when the folder is opened and folded over, is solved.
  • the bracket (1 ') according to FIG. 12 largely corresponds in its shape to the bracket (1) above, functionally identical parts being given the same reference numerals.
  • the bracket (1 ') according to FIG. 12 is different with regard to the shape of the recess (15 '), which in this case is not recessed in a semicircular shape, but rather has the shape which is clearly recognizable from FIG. 12.
  • the cutout (15 ') towards the opening (12) for the pivotable clamp holder extends from a rectilinear section (16') of the back (4) which forms an acute angle to the longitudinal direction of the back (4).
  • associated longitudinal edge (16) of the second leg (3) is limited. This angle is approximately 35 ° and can alternatively also have a different value, preferably between 20 ° and 50 °.
  • a separation of the folded edge adjoining the window area can be provided.
  • the clip can optionally be attached to the front or to both cardboard covers or, without a pivoting holder, can be freely pushed onto the clip folder from the side of the insertion mouth.
