Definitions

  • the invention relates to a corner cabinet, in particular a kitchen corner cabinet, with a rotatable carousel which contains at least one shelf connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a vertical rotating column, which has a recess running from the shelf circumference to the central shelf area, via which the shelf can be inserted from the side onto the rotating column and the inner end of which forms a contact surface for the rear of the rotating column, with the front of the rotating column being assigned a holding device to be mounted on the shelf in the area of the recess for securing the position of the shelf on the rotating column.
  • the respective shelf does not have to be attached to the carousel before the cabinet is installed, since it can be inserted into the cabinet at a later stage and attached to the rotating column from the side. Disassembly is also correspondingly easy when a shelf is to be replaced.
  • the shelf is rotatable in the former case on the support member about the rotating column, while in the second case this rotatability is canceled by engaging the pin in recesses at the lower end of the insert and bearing shell, so that a rotationally fixed connection between the shelf and rotating column and thus a Corner cabinet of the type mentioned is present.
  • V-shaped rod-shaped supports are fixedly attached to each other at the level of the shelf, which extend forward on both sides of the recess and hold the shelf. So that the rear shelf does not tip down, in front of the rotating column an insert is in turn inserted into the recess.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object of creating a corner cabinet according to the preamble of claim 1, in which the shelf is held in place more stably than since then and, if desired, can also be set at a height other than that normally used can. This should be done in the simplest possible way in terms of construction and handling.
  • the holding device has a clamping part, which is supported directly or indirectly via a support part on the shelf, between which and the contact surface of the shelf the rotary column can be non-positively clamped.
  • a shelf defined in this way does away with the need to absorb the vertical forces that occur when the shelf is loaded. Accordingly, the shelf can be braced with the rotating column at any height regardless of support.
  • a kitchen corner cabinet 1 of a fitted kitchen has a cabinet housing with two side walls 2, 3, which are directed at right angles to one another and delimit a cabinet opening 4 with their front faces.
  • a further kitchen element can be connected to each side wall 2, 3. so that there is an L-shaped corner arrangement.
  • the cabinet opening 4 already mentioned runs over a corner, the bisector of the corner passing through the middle of the cabinet opening 4.
  • the cabinet housing also has a cabinet base 5, a rear wall 6 and an upper cover plate, not shown in the drawing.
  • This cabinet housing contains a rotatable carousel 7 with a vertical rotating column 8 rotatably mounted at the top and bottom.
  • the carousel 7 also includes at least one shelf 9; 9a; In the case of several shelves, these are in the vertical direction, i.e. arranged in the longitudinal direction of the rotary column 8 at a distance from each other. Any objects can be placed on the at least one shelf, with each shelf area facing the cabinet opening 4, i.e. can be turned to the user.
  • the cabinet opening 4 is assigned a door which is formed by two door wings 10, 11 arranged on both sides of the bisector, which in the initial position of the carousel 7 shown in FIG. 1 between a closed position closing the cabinet opening 4, in which they are at right angles to one another, and a dash-dotted open position, in which they are displaced radially inward to form a smaller angle, are adjustable. If the door leaves 10, 11 are in their open position, they are subject to twisting of the carousel 7 no longer counter so that the carousel 7 can be rotated together with the door leaves.
  • the shelf 9; 9a, 9b has a recess 12; 12a; 12b which runs from the shelf circumference to the central shelf area and forms a V-shaped cutout 13 (this reference number is only shown in FIG. 1) into which the two door leaves (10, 11) protrude.
  • the cutout 12; 12a; 12b forms a slot area 14; 14a; 14b, the slot width of which corresponds at least substantially to the diameter of the rotating column 8, so that the shelf 9; 9a; 9b from the side onto the rotating column 8 , possibly in a tilted position, can be inserted, the rotating column entering the slot area 14; 14a; 14b.
  • the inner end of the recess 12; 12a; 12b i.e. in the exemplary embodiments, the inner end of the slot region 14; 14a; 14b, forms a contact surface 15; 15a; 15b on which the rotary column 8 comes to rest with its rear side.
  • the rotating column 8 has a circular cross section.
  • the contact surface 15; 15a; 15b is contoured accordingly, i.e. semicircular.
  • the front of the rotary column 8 facing the recess 12; 12a; 12b is assigned a holding device to be mounted on the shelf 9; 9a; 9b in the area of the recess for securing the position of the shelf on the rotary column 8, which has a clamping part 16; 16a; 16b the and the contact surface 15; 15a; 15b of the shelf, the rotary column 8 is non-positively clamped.
  • the clamping part 16 is supported directly on the shelf 9 and in the case of the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 4 and 5 or 6 to 8 the clamping part 16a or 16b is supported by a supporting part 17a or 17b Shelf 9a or 9b.
  • the clamping part 16; 16a; 16b In its active position, the clamping part 16; 16a; 16b is therefore from the front, i.e. from the recess 12; 12a; 12b pressed against the front of the rotating column 8, which is thereby pressed against the contact surface 15; 15a; 15b of the shelf.
  • the clamping part 16 or the supporting part 17a; 17b carrying the clamping part 16a; 16b is a part which is separate from the shelf in all exemplary embodiments and can be connected to it in a plug-in connection parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rotating column.

  • the vertical insertion depth of the clamping part 16 or the supporting part 17a; 17b into the slot area 14; 14a; 14b of the recess is expediently limited so that the clamping part or the supporting part cannot slide out downwards if the other design would permit it.
  • the support parts 17a and 17b this would be possible since there the support part and the two respective recess edge surfaces 22a, 23a and 22b, 23b have the same cross-section throughout the entire height, i.e. the support surfaces and the counter support surfaces run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rotating column.

  • the rear gripping parts can reach behind the securing parts, seen in horizontal section, in the manner of a dovetail guide, ie the support surfaces and the counter support surfaces do not run at right angles but at an acute angle with respect to the recess edge surfaces in the sense of hooking in the width direction.
  • the clamping surface 35; 35a; 35b of the clamping part 16; 16a; 16b has, in cross section, a contour which is complementary to the rotating column 8 and which can be almost semicircular, so that, together with the contact surface 15; 15a; 15b of the shelf, there is, as it were, an all-round arrangement of the rotating column. Due to the height of the clamping part, which essentially corresponds to or can be greater than the shelf thickness including the height of the edge web 28; 28a; 28b, results in a large-area bracing.
  • the clamping force can be applied in different ways.

  • the wedge surface arrangement between the clamping part 16 and the shelf 9 is effective.
  • the support surfaces 20, 21 of the clamping part 16 can each form a wedge surface 36 or 37 and the counter support surfaces 18, 19 of the shelf 8 each form a counter wedge surface 38 or 39 that interacts with the facing wedge surface, i.e. the support surfaces and the counter support surfaces are inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rotating column, so that the clamping part 16 wedges when inserted from above between the rotating column 8 and the counter wedge surfaces 38, 39 formed by the counter supporting surfaces 18, 19.
  • a lifting device is provided in the clamping part 16 for lifting the clamping part from the shelf counter to the direction of insertion, that is to say upwards in the exemplary embodiment.
  • This lifting device is formed by two threaded bolts 40, 41 screwed into the top of the shelf on both sides of the recess 22 and thus screwed in the vertical direction, which engage with their upper end on a transverse engaging surface of the clamping part 16, which protrudes from the laterally projecting upper part End plate 29 can be formed.

  • This clamping unit has an actuating device 45a or 45b for actuating the clamping part.
  • the clamping part 16a is mounted on the supporting part 17a such that it can be moved transversely to the rotating column 8. It forms the front of the clamping unit 44a and is upstream of the support part 17a.
  • the movable mounting takes place in the embodiment in that on both sides a narrower web projection 46a of the support part 17a engages in a wider groove 47a of the clamping part 16a, the web projection and the groove running parallel to the rotating column. Due to the different width of the ledge and groove results in a play for the clamping part 16a.

  • the eccentric projection 56a is seated on a bearing axis 57a rotatably mounted on the support part 17a.
  • the arrangement in this context is such that the wedge part 50a has a rectangular cross section with the side walls 58a, 59a connecting the two intermediate wedge surfaces 51a, 52a, the two side walls each containing an opening 60a which is penetrated by the bearing axis 57a, being with each side wall 58a, 59a, an eccentric projection 56a sits on the bearing axis 57a within the opening 60a and cooperates with the edge of the opening 60a, in such a way that the eccentric projection 56a, when the bearing axis 57a is rotated, depending on the direction of rotation downwards into its effective or pushes up into its ineffective position.
  • the wedge part 50a is bent from sheet metal.
  • the ends of the bearing axis 57a are each connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a bearing leg 61a, which extends parallel to the outside of the facing side wall 58a, 59a of the wedge part 50a.
  • the bearing axis 57a is connected via the two bearing legs 61a to the handle 55a already mentioned, which protrudes from the top of the support part 17a.
  • the area of the handle 55a projecting upwards, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 4, is wider than the recess 12a of the shelf 9a, so that the projecting area of the handle 55a simultaneously serves as the abovementioned contact surface for limiting the insertion depth of the support part 17a forms in the recess 12a.
  • FIG. 4 and 5 show the clamping unit 44a when the clamping part 16a is ineffective, ie the wedge part 50a is in its ineffective upper position.
  • the handle 55a projects approximately vertically upwards. If it is pivoted towards the rotating column 8, it folds down by approximately 90 ° into the position indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 5, in which the wedge part 50a is pressed down and the clamping part 16a against the rotating column 8 is pressed.
  • the handle 55a can thus be pivoted toward the rotary column 8 in order to transfer the actuating device 45a into its effective position which applies the clamping force, and it also has a recess 62a which is open on the front side of the handle for gripping the rotary column 8 in a fork-like manner.

  • the support part 17b like the support part 17a of the embodiment just described, has a housing-like, essentially U-like shape with legs directed towards the rotating column 8, between which the clamping part 16b is received and guided is.
  • the actuating device 45b for actuating the clamping part 16b is designed differently. It contains a threaded bolt 64b running parallel to the rotating column 8, which is displaceably mounted on the supporting part 17b in its axial direction.
  • the storage is such that it can be moved in the direction of the rotary column 8 and away from it while maintaining its alignment parallel to the rotary column.

  • the slot width corresponds approximately to the diameter of a tapered portion 67b of the threaded bolt 64b so that the threaded bolt 64b is held in place by the slot edges in the axial direction while it can shift in the longitudinal direction of the slot 66b.
  • the opposite end of the threaded bolt 64b could be mounted in the same way, but it can also end freely or rest loosely on a facing end wall 68b of the supporting part 17b, since the alignment of the threaded bolt 64b is ensured by the clamping part 16b guided on the supporting part 17b.
  • the clamping part 16b is divided into two and is formed by two separate individual clamping parts 69b, 70b, which are in threaded engagement with the threaded bolt 64b in succession in the axial direction.

  • the two-part clamping part 16b could also be a one-part clamping part, in which case the thread sense of the threaded bolt and the clamping part would of course be the same throughout.
  • This variant can be illustrated very simply by thinking one of the two individual clamping parts 69b, 70b away in FIG. 7. The arrangement would then also work.
  • an assembly aid can be provided (see FIG. 9), in that the rotating column 8 has at least one continuous transverse hole 78 in the area of each tier formed by a shelf 9 for inserting a cross pin 79 and a recess on both sides of the shelf 12 of the shelf extending recess 80 for engaging the cross pin 79 is arranged.
  • the shape of the recess 80 is adapted to the shape of the cross pin 79 so that the shelf, it sits with its recess 80 on the cross pin 79, can no longer be rotated about the rotating column.
  • the width of the recess 80 measured at right angles to the plane of FIG. 9, corresponds essentially to the diameter of the transverse pin 79.
  • the shelf 9 can be placed loosely on the transverse pin 79 before it is braced with the rotating column 8, so that the position of the shelf in the height direction and angular position is specified. The shelf then does not have to be held by hand during tensioning.
  • transverse holes 78 there can be a plurality of transverse holes 78 arranged one above the other or even a row of holes extending over the entire length of the rotating column for pushing through the transverse pin 79.
  • the cross pin 79 can be very short since it has no supporting function.
