Abstract

Einer der bekanntesten Verpackungstypen für Zigaretten ist die Klappschachtel. Die industrielle Fertigung bekannter Klappschachteln ist aufwendig, weil der bei Klappschachteln übliche Kragen als gesonderter Zuschnitt gefahren wird. Bei der vorliegenden Klappschachtel sind Kragen (19) und Klappdeckel (18) durch aus dem Verpackungsmaterial bestehende Restverbindungen (40) miteinander verbunden. Die Restverbindungen sind beim erstmaligen Öffnen des Klappdeckels durchtrennbar. <IMAGE>

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel für eine Gruppe von Zigaretten oder dergleichen, mit einem Schachtelteil und einem mit diesem gelenkig verbundenen Klappdeckel sowie mit einem aus Kragen-Vorderwand und Kragen-Seitenwänden bestehenden Kragen, der mit einem Teilbereich im Schachtelteil verankert und dessen oberer Bereich durch den Klappdeckel in Schließstellung umschlossen ist.
  • Desweiteren betrifft die Erfindung einen Zuschnitt für die Herstellung von Klappschachteln zur Aufnahme von Zigaretten oder dergleichen, wobei ein Zuschnitt einen Schachtelteil und einen mit diesem verbundenen Klappdeckel bildet, der eine Deckel-Vorderwand und einen an der freien Seite mit dieser verbundenen Deckel-Innenlappen aufweist, der bei der herzustellenden Klappschachtel an der Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand anliegt.
  • Für die Verpackung von Zigaretten sind Klappschachteln weltweit verbreitet. Die Zigaretten sind als formierte Zigaretten-Gruppe üblicherweise von einer Innenumhüllung aus Stanniol oder Papier umgeben.
  • Außen ist die Klappschachtel von einer Außenumhüllung aus Folie oder Zellglas eingehüllt. Neuerdings werden Klappschachteln angeboten, bei denen die Außenumhüllung fehlt.
  • Die industrielle Fertigung der Klappschachteln ist aufwendig, nicht zuletzt deshalb, weil der übliche Kragen als gesonderter Zuschnitt gefahren wird.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Klappschachtel für Zigaretten oder andere Verpackungsgüter bzw. einen Zuschnitt für diesen Verpackungstyp so auszubilden, daß die Herstellung der Klappschachtel materialsparend und die Handhabung verbessert sind.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Kragen und Klappdeckel durch aus dem Verpackungsmaterial bestehende Restverbindungen miteinander verbunden sind, die bei erstmaligem Öffnen des Klappdeckels durchtrennbar sind.
  • Der erfindungsgemäße Zuschnitt ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein aus Kragen-Vorderwand und Kragen-Seitenwänden bestehender Kragen einstückig mit dem Zuschnitt verbunden ist, und zwar über Restverbindungen des Verpackungsmaterials mit dem Deckel-Innenlappen.
  • Der Gesamtzuschnitt aus Klappschachtel und Kragen kann bei entsprechender Ausgestaltung des Kragens materialsparend gefertigt werden. Die Handhabung in einer Verpackungsmaschine ist erleichtert, weil für die gesamte Klappschachtel lediglich ein einstückiger Zuschnitt verarbeitet werden muß.
  • Weitere Einzelheiten werden nachfolgend an Hand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

  • Die als Ausführungsbeispiele gezeigten Verpackungen sind quaderförmig ausgebildet und dienen zur Aufnahme von Zigaretten 10. Eine Zigaretten-Gruppe 11 ist - wie bei herkömmlichen Zigaretten-Verpackungen - von einer Innenumhüllung 12 aus Stanniol, Papier oder einer Folie umgeben. Die Zigaretten-Gruppe 11 mit Innenumhüllung 12 bildet einen Zigaretten-Block 13 als Inhalt der Verpackung. Die Innenumhüllung 12 ist, wie bekannt, im oberen Bereich an der Vorderseite mit einem abreißbaren Flap 14 versehen, um einen Teil der Zigaretten 10 für die Entnahme freizulegen.
  • Die Verpackung besteht aus einem Oberteil 15 und einem Unterteil 16. Bei den gezeigten Ausführungsbeispielen sind die Abmessungen so gewählt, daß das Unterteil 16 geringfügig größer bzw. höher ist als das Oberteil 15. Ein ringsherum verlaufender Verbindungsstreifen 17 von Oberteil 15 und Unterteil 16 erstreckt sich geringfügig oberhalb einer (gedachten) mittleren Querebene der Verpackung.
  • Oberteil 15 und Unterteil 16 bestehen aus verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien und sind unterschiedlich ausgebildet. Das Oberteil 15 ist nach Art einer Klappschachtel (Hinge-Lid-Packung) ausgebildet. Das Unterteil 16 entspricht einem Teilbereich einer Weichpackung.
  • Das Oberteil 15 besteht aus (dünnem) Karton. Ein Klappdeckel 18 ist wie bei einer Klappschachtel ausgebildet. Des weiteren ist ein bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt bestehender Kragen 19 mit Kragen-Vorderwand 20 und Kragen-Seitenwänden 21 vorgesehen. Dieser wird bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis 5 auf den vorher fertiggestellten Zigaretten-Block 13 positionsgerecht aufgelegt (Fig. 3) und sodann mit diesem verpackt.
  • Oberteil 15 und Unterteil 16 bestehen jeweils aus gesonderten, einstückigen Zuschnitten. Der Zuschnitt für das Oberteil 15 ist in Fig. 4 und der Zuschnitt für das Unterteil 16 in Fig. 5 in ausgebreitetem Zustand gezeigt. Das Oberteil besteht danach aus einer Rückwand 22 von geringer Höhe. An den Seiten derselben befinden sich Seitenlappen 23 zur Bildung von Seitenwänden des Oberteils 15. Die übrigen Teile des Zuschnitts gemäß Fig. 4 bilden den Klappdeckel 18. Eine Deckel-Rückwand 24 ist über eine Gelenklinie 25 mit der Rückwand 22 verbunden. An der Deckelrückwand sind seitlich Deckel-Seitenlappen 26 angeordnet. Die Seitenlappen 23 und die Deckel-Seitenlappen 26 sind durch einen bei Klappschachteln üblichen Schrägschnitt 27 voneinander getrennt.
  • An die Deckel-Rückwand 24 schließt eine Deckel-Oberwand 28 und an diese eine Deckel-Vorderwand 29 an. Im Bereich der Deckel-Oberwand 28 befinden sich seitlich Ecklappen 30. Diese liegen bei der fertigen Verpackung an der Innenseite der Deckel-Oberwand 28 an. Mit der Deckel-Vorderwand 29 sind trapezförmige äußere Deckel-Seitenlappen 31 verbunden, die zusammen mit den Deckel-Seitenlappen 26 Seitenwände des Klappdeckels 18 bilden. Die Deckel-Seitenlappen 26 einerseits und 31 andererseits sind durch Klebung miteinander verbunden.
  • Das Oberteil 15 ist im vorliegenden Falle ohne Vorderwand ausgebildet. Die Funktion der Vorderwand übernimmt der Kragen 19 bzw. die Kragen-Vorderwand 20. Die Kragen-Seitenwände 21 sind mit den Seitenlappen 23 verbunden, so daß das Oberteil 15 mit dem Kragen 19 eine Einheit bildet. Der Kragen 19 ist in Schließstellung der Packung in üblicherweise in einem (oberen) Teilbereich von dem Klappdeckel 18 umschlossen.
  • Der z.B. aus Papier bestehende Zuschnitt (Fig. 5) für das Unterteil 16 ist rechteckig ausgebildet. Der Zuschnitt bildet eine Vorderwand 32, eine Rückwand 33 und eine dazwischenliegende Seitenwand 34. Eine gegenüberliegende Seitenwand wird durch einen Seitenlappen 35 am Rand des Zuschnitts gebildet. Der Seitenlappen 35 ist durch Klebung mit einem auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite am Zuschnitt angebrachten Verbindungsstreifen 36 verbunden. Eine Bodenwand wird aus kuvertartig gefalteten Bodenlappen 37, 38 gebildet. Diese sind miteinander verklebt. Es entsteht dadurch ein becherartiges Unterteil 16.
  • Oberteil 15 und Unterteil 16 sind im Bereich des Verbindungsstreifens 17 durch Klebung miteinander verbunden. Ein oberer, freier Rand des Unterteils 16 überdeckt im Bereich des Verbindungsstreifens 17 den unteren, freien Rand des Oberteils 15 bzw. des Kragens 19 (Kragen-Vorderwand 20). Die Abmessungen sind so getroffen, daß ein freier, unterer Rand der Deckel-Vorderwand 29 einem oberen, freien Rand der Vorderwand 32 des Unterteils 16 gegenüberliegt. Die Ränder stoßen in Schließstellung aneinander. Die Ausführungsform der Verpackung gemäß Fig. 6 bis 8 entspricht im prinzipiellen Aufbau demjenigen des vorstehend beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiels. Eine Besonderheit besteht darin, daß der Kragen 19 einstückig mit dem Karton-Zuschnitt für das Oberteil 15 verbunden ist (Fig. 8). Das Oberteil 15 und der Kragen 19 bilden demnach einen gemeinsamen, einstückigen Zuschnitt.
  • Zu diesem Zweck schließt an einen freien, äußeren Rand der Deckel-Vorderwand 29 ein Faltlappen an, nämlich ein Deckel-Innenlappen 39. Dieser ist bei der fertiggefalteten Verpackung gegen die Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand 29 umgefaltet und mit dieser zweckmäßigerweise durch Klebung verbunden (Fig. 7).
  • Der Zuschnitt für den Kragen 19 ist bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel mit dem Deckel-Innenlappen 39 verbunden, und zwar leicht abtrennbar. Die Verbindung besteht deshalb hier lediglich in Restverbindungen 40, nämlich Verbindungsstegen aus dem Material des Zuschnitts, an den seitlichen Randbereichen des Deckel-Innenlappens 39 einerseits und an den seitlichen Randbereichen der Kragen-Vorderwand 20 andererseits. Beim vorliegenden Beispiel ist auf jeder Seite eine schmale, stegartige Restverbindung 40 des Verpackungsmaterials gebildet. Im übrigen ist der Zuschnitt des Kragens 19 von dem Zuschnitt des Oberteils 15 durch einen Stanzschnitt 41 getrennt.
  • Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel schließt an die dem Kragen 19 zugekehrte Seite des Deckel-Innenlappens 39 ein zungenförmiger Faltlappen 42 an. Dieser liegt bei der fertiggefalteten Packung an der Innenseite der Deckel-Oberwand 28 bzw. an den Ecklappen 30 des Klappdeckels 18 an. Die Kontur des Faltlappens 42 entspricht einem bei Klappschachteln üblichen Ausschnitt 43 in der Kragen-Vorderwand 20.
  • Bei der fertiggefalteten Packung gemäß Fig. 6 bis 8 bleibt die Verbindung zwischen dem Zuschnitt für das Oberteil 15 und dem Kragen 19 zunächst bestehen. Bei Ingebrauchnahme der Verpackung, nämlich beim Öffnen des Klappdeckels 18, werden die Restverbindungen 40 durchtrennt. Die Packung entspricht sodann im oberen Bereich einer üblichen Klappschachtel.
  • Auch die Verpackung gemäß Fig. 9 und 10 entspricht dem beschriebenen Konstruktionsprinzip. Das Oberteil 15 kann in der im Zusammenhang mit Fig. 1 bis 5 beschriebenen Weise ausgebildet sein oder nach Maßgabe von Fig. 6 bis 8. Die Besonderheit des Ausführungsbeispiels nach Fig. 9 und 10 besteht darin, daß das Unterteil 16 der Verpackung aus dünnem, flexiblem Verpackungsmaterial die gesamte Verpackung einhüllt. Der Zuschnitt für das Unterteil 16 ist über den Verbindungsstreifen 17 hinaus nach oben verlängert und deckt außen das Oberteil 15, einschließlich Klappdeckel 18, vollständig ab. Es empfiehlt sich bei dieser Ausführung, daß Unterteil 16 und eine an diese im Bereich des Oberteils 15 anschließende Kappe 44, aus einer Folie zu fertigen, zum Beispiel aus einer Kunststoff-Folie. Diese bildet im unteren Teil der Packung das Unterteil 16 und im Bereich des Oberteils 15 eine aromaerhaltende Umhüllung. Die gesamte Verpackung ist dadurch von einem durchgehenden, einstückigen Außenzuschnitt eingehüllt.
  • Für die Ingebrauchnahme der Verpackung wird der obere Teil der Außenumhüllung abgetrennt, also die Kappe 44 vom Unterteil 16. Es bleibt dann eine Verpackung, die derjenigen gemäß Fig. 1 bis 5 oder gemäß Fig. 6 bis 8 entspricht. Der verbleibende Teil der Außenumhüllung, nämlich das Unterteil 16, ist zu diesem Zweck durch Kleben oder Siegeln mit dem Oberteil 15 in der beschriebenen Weise entlang einem Verbindungsstreifen 17 verbunden.
  • Zum Abtrennen der Kappe 44 ist in Höhe des Verbindungsstreifens 17 ein üblicher Aufreißstreifen 45 bzw. ein Aufreißfaden angebracht. Durch Abziehen desselben kommt die Kappe 44 frei und kann vom Oberteil 15 der Verpackung abgezogen werden. Der Verbindungsstreifen 17 ist zu diesem Zweck unterhalb des Aufreißstreifens 45 angeordnet.
  • Die Gestaltung einer Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 6 bis 8 ist mit besonderem Vorteil auch bei einer insgesamt aus Karton bestehenden Klappschachtel anwendbar. Fig. 11 zeigt einen einstückigen Zuschnitt 46 aus dünnem Karton. Dieser ist bis auf die Gestaltung des Klappdeckels 18 und des Kragens 19 - in herkömmlicher Weise ausgebildet, nämlich mit Bereichen für ein Schachtelteil 47 einerseits und den Klappdeckel 18 andererseits. Zum Schachtelteil 47 gehören außer der Rückwand 22 und den Seitenlappen 23 eine Vorderwand 48 sowie eine Bodenwand 49. Weitere Seitenlappen 50 bilden zusammen mit den Seitenlappen 23 Seitenwände des Schachtelteils 47.
  • Die den Klappdeckel 18 bildenden Zuschnitteile sind wie bei dem Beispiel der Fig. 8 ausgebildet. Bei der fertigen Klappschachtel aus einem Zuschnitt 46 ist der obere Bereich, nämlich der Deckel, so ausgebildet wie gemäß Fig. 6 und 7. Der Kragen 19 sitzt mit Kragen-Vorderwand 20 und den Kragen-Seitenwänden 21 teilweise im Schachtelteil 47, liegt also an der Innenseite der Vorderwand 48 und der Seitenlappen 23 an.
  • Ein solcher Zuschnitt 46 ist materialgünstig herstellbar. Des gleichen ist die Fertigung der Packung maschinentechnisch leicht zu bewerkstelligen. Bei den Faltvorgängen gelangt der Kragen 19 von selbst in die packungsgerechte Position. Der zusätzliche Faltlappen 42 an der Innenseite der Deckel-Oberwand 28 bewirkt eine erhöhte Steifigkeit im Bereich des Klappdeckels 18. Der Kragen 19 wird beim Faltvorgang in üblicher Weise durch Leimmarken mit der Innenseite des Schachtelteils 47 verbunden.

Claims (6)

  1. Klappschachtel für eine Gruppe von Zigaretten (10) oder dergleichen, mit einem Schachtelteil (47) und einem mit diesem gelenkig verbundenen Klappdeckel (18) sowie mit einem aus Kragen-Vorderwand (20) und Kragen-Seitenwänden (21) bestehenden Kragen (19), der mit einem Teilbereich im Schachtelteil (47) verankert und dessen oberer Bereich durch den Klappdeckel (18) in Schließstellung umschlossen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Kragen (19) und Klappdeckel (18) durch aus dem Verpackungsmaterial bestehende Restverbindungen (40) miteinander verbunden sind, die bei erstmaligem Öffnen des Klappdeckels (18) durchtrennbar sind.
  2. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Restverbindungen (40) den Kragen (19) mit einem innenliegenden Lappen des Klappdeckels (18), insbesondere mit einem Deckel-Innenlappen (39) verbinden, der an der Innenseite einer Deckel-Vorderwand (29) anliegt.
  3. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Restverbindungen (40) an einer freien Randkante des Deckel-Innenlappens (39) gebildet sind, der sich benachbart zu einer Deckel-Vorderwand (29) im Deckel (18) erstreckt.
  4. Zuschnitt für die Herstellung von Klappschachteln zur Aufnahme von Zigaretten (10) oder dergleichen, wobei ein Zuschnitt (46) einen Schachtelteil (47) und einen mit diesem verbundenen Klappdeckel (18) bildet, der eine Deckel-Vorderwand (29) und einen an der freien Seite mit dieser verbundenen Deckel-Innenlappen (39) aufweist, der bei der herzustellenden Klappschachtel an der Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand (29) anliegt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein aus Kragen-Vorderwand (20) und Kragen-Seitenwänden (21) bestehender Kragen (19) einstückig mit dem Zuschnitt (46) verbunden ist, und zwar über Restverbindungen (40) des Verpackungsmaterials mit dem Deckel-Innenlappen (39).
  5. Zuschnitt nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß insbesondere zwei Restverbindungen (40) benachbart zu seitlichen Randbereichen des Deckel-Innenlappens (39) gebildet und mit Kragen (19) im Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand (20) verbunden sind.
  6. Zuschnitt nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kragen-Vorderwand (20) und ein Faltlappen (42) durch einen Stanzschnitt (41) getrennt sind und der Faltlappen (42) bei der fertigen Klappschachtel an der Innenseite einer Deckel-Oberwand (28) anliegt.
