Definitions

  • the invention relates to an insole construction for California-style shoes and the use thereof for the production of California-style shoes with an insole that has been struggled on, and also for the production of an imitated moccasin shoe with a sewn or struggled insole construction and the like.
  • a shoe as footwear has a variety of tasks, such as supporting the foot in walking movement, avoiding deformation of the foot, protecting the foot from external effects of moisture and cold, and regulating the heat and moisture release of the foot, i.e. to create a pleasant climate.
  • a way to protect the foot from water e.g. In imitation moccasin-type shoes, the shoe must be provided with a sock construction that contains such a waterproof, water-vapor-permeable membrane.
  • the object of the invention is to provide an insole construction which has the effect that water does not largely enter the sole area. Another object of the invention is to provide an insole construction that does not have any seams inside the shoe that are used to connect the upper to the insole. Another object of the invention is to provide an insole construction that can be easily sewn to the upper in an economical manner.
  • an insole construction for shoes in California design which is characterized in that the insole construction consists of at least two interconnected layers of material, the lower layer having a protrusion which is at least 1 mm wide and serves to sew on the upper.
  • the protrusion is preferably at least 2 mm wide.
  • the lower layer can e.g. a textile material, the top layer of leather or synthetic leather. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the lower layer consists of waterproof material.
  • the upper layer can also have a multilayer structure.
  • the insole construction according to the invention is particularly suitable for the production of California-style shoes with sewn-on or strobed insole, imitation moccasin shoes with sewn insole construction and imitation moccasin shoes with strobed insole construction.
  • Shoes made therefrom with the insole construction according to the invention, an upper material and a lining located inside the upper material are particularly suitable according to the invention if the lining has a waterproof film, it being particularly favorable if this film is additionally permeable to water vapor.
  • the upper layer can consist of a typical insole material, such as a natural or synthetic product such as leather, synthetic leather, such as Texon.
  • the upper layer can also be composed of several layers, for example an additional running skin pad, a foam layer with leather lining and the like.
  • the lower layer is preferably a waterproof material and is e.g. from a coated textile fabric, such as fabric, fleece, knitted fabric or the like.
  • the lower layer is firmly bonded to the upper layer.
  • insole construction according to the invention is shown in a schematic manner. 1 is the upper layer and 2 the lower layer, which has an overhang compared to layer 1.
  • FIG. 2 shows schematically how the shaft is connected to the lower layer by a strobe seam.
  • the insole construction together with the attached shaft can be provided with a sole in the usual way. This can be glued on or sprayed on. Further details can be found in FIG. 2.
  • FIG. 2 schematically shows a California-style shoe which has an insole construction according to the invention.
  • the outsole is designed as a so-called shell or tub sole.
  • the upper is made of leather. Inside is a lining that has a water vapor permeable film (SYMPATEX film). Lining and leather upper are glued together in the lower area by a waterproof neoprene adhesive.
  • the insole construction according to the invention can be easily connected to the upper material in an economical manner. Since the sewing or the strobing takes place outside the inner area of the shoe, this can Do not allow water to penetrate inside the shoe.
  • the insole has no seams on the inside of the shoe, which in addition to the advantage that no water can penetrate there, also contributes to improving the aesthetic appearance.
  • the easier processing of the insole construction is also an advantage when manufacturing an imitated moccasin.
