Abstract
Neue Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I), in welcher A für eine Ketogruppe oder eine CH(OH)-Gruppierung steht und R für Alkyl, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Cycloalkylalkyl, Alkenyl, Alkinyl oder Halogenalkenyl steht, wobei aber die Bedeutung 3-Chlor-but-2-en-1-yl ausgenommen ist, sowie deren Säureadditions-Salze und Metallsalz-Komplexe, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der neuen Stoffe und deren Verwendung als Fungizide. Neue Zwischenprodukte, ein Verfahren zu deren Herstellung und deren Verwendung zur Synthese von Triazolyl-butan-Derivaten der Formel (I).
Description
FUNGIZIDE TRIAZOLYL-BUTAN-DERIVATE
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue Triazolyl-butan- Derivate, ein Verfahren zu deren Herstellung und deren
Verwendung als Fungizide. Es ist bereits bekannt, daß bestimmte Triazolyl-butan-Derivate fungizide Eigenschaften besitzen (vergl. DE-OS 3 048 267 und EP-OS 0 226 916). So lassen sich z.B. 2,2-Dimethyl-1-phenyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-octan-3-ol und 2,2-Dimethyl-1-(4-methyl-phenyl)-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-octan-3-ol zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen einsetzen. Die Wirkung dieser Stoffe" ist gut, läßt aber bei niedrigen Aufwandmengen in manchen Fällen zu wünschen übrig.
Es wurden nun neue Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel

A für eine Ketogruppe oder eine CH(OH) -Gruppierung steht und
R für Alkyl, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Cycloalkylalkyl, Alkenyl, Alkinyl oder Halogenalkenyl steht, wobei aber die Bedeutung 3-Chlor-but-2-en- 1-yl ausgenommen ist, sowie deren Säureadditions-Salze und Metallsalz-Komplexe gefunden«
Die Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I), in denen A für eine CH(OH)-Gruppe steht, besitzen zwei benachbarte asymmetrisch substituierte Kohlenstoffatome. Sie können deshalb in den beiden geometrischen Isomeren
(threo- und erythro-From) vorliegen, die in unterschiedlichen Mengenverhältnissen anfallen können. Die Verbindungen der Formel (I), in denen A für eine Ketogruppe steht, besitzen ein asymmetrisch substituiertes Kohlenstoffatom. In beiden Fällen können die Verbindungen der Formel (I) in verschiedenen optischen Isomerenformen vorliegen, die in unterschiedlichen Mengenverhältnissen anfallen können. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft sowohl die Isomerengemische als auch die einzelnen Isomeren.
Weiterhin wurde gefunden, daß man die neuen Triazolylbutan-Derivate der Formel (I) sowie deren Säureadditions-Salze und Metallsalz-Komplexe erhält, wenn man Triazolyl-keton der Formel
mit Verbindungen der Formel
R-X (III) in welcher
R die oben angegebenen Bedeutungen hat und
X für eine elektronenziehende Abgangsgruppe steht, in Gegenwart einer Base und in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels oder in einem wäßrig-organischen Zweiphasensystem in Gegenwart eines Phasen-transfer-Katalysators umsetzt und gegebenenfalls die dabei entstehenden Keto-Verbindungen der Formel
in welcher
R die oben angegebenen Bedeutungen hat, entweder α) mit komplexen Hydriden in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels umsetzt, oder β) mit Aluminium-isopropylat in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels umsetzt, und gegebenenfalls anschließend an die so erhaltenen Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I) eine Säure oder ein Metallsalz addiert. Schließlich wurde gefunden, daß die neuen Triazolylbutan-Derivate der Formel (I) sowie deren Säureadditions-Salze und Metallsalz-Komplexe sehr gute fungizide Eigenschaften besitzen. Überraschenderweise zeichnen sich die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe durch eine bessere fungizide Wirkung aus als die konstitutionell ähnlichsten, aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Verbindungen gleicher Indikation. So übertreffen die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe z.B. das 2,2-Dimethyl-1-phenyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-octan-3-ol und das 2,2-Dimethyl-1-(4-methyl-phenyl)-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-octan-3-ol, welches strukturell naheliegende, vorbekannte Stoffe gleicher Wirkungsrichtung sind, bezüglich ihrer fungiziden Eigenschaften.
Außerdem sind die neuen Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I) interessante Zwischenprodukte zur Herstellung anderer Pflanzenschutz-Wirkstoffe. So lassen sich z.B. diejenigen Verbindungen, in denen A für CO steht, in Oxime, Oximether, Hydrazone oder Ketale überführen. Diejenigen Verbindungen, in denen A für eine CH(OH)-Gruppierung steht, können in Ether überführt werden oder durch Umsetzung mit Acylhalogeniden oder Carbamoylchloriden in Acyl- oder Carbamoyl-Der-vate umgewandelt werden. Die erfindungsgemäßen Triazolyl-butan-Derivate sind durch die Formel (I) allgemein definiert.
A steht für eine Ketogruppe oder eine CH(OH) -Gruppierung,
R steht vorzugsweise für geradkett iges oder verzweigtes Alkyl mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, für gegebenenfalls durch 1 bis 3 Alkylgruppen mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen substituiertes Cycloalkylalkyl mit 3 bis 7 Kohlenstoffatomen im Cycloalkyltei 1 und 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen im Alkylteil, für geradkettiges oder verzweigtes Alkenyl mit 3 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, für geradkett iges oder verzweigtes Alkinyl mit 3 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, oder für geradkett iges oder verzweigtes Halogenalkenyl mit 3 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen und 1 bis 5 gleichen oder verschiedenen Halogenatomen, wie Fluor-, Chlor- und/oder Bromatomen, wobei R jedoch nicht für 3-Chlor-but-2-en-1-yl steht.
Besonders bevorzugt steht
R für geradkettiges oder verzweigtes Alkyl mit 1 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, für gegebenenfalls durch 1 bis 3 Methyl und/oder Ethyl-Gruppen substituiertes Cycloalkylalkyl mit 3 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen im Cycloalkylteil und 1 oder 2 Kohlenstoffatomen im
Alkylteil, für geradkettiges oder verzweigtes Alkenyl mit 3 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, für geradkettiges oder verzweigtes Alkinyl mit 3 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, oder für geradkettiges oder verzweigtes Halogenalkenyl mit 3 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen und 1 bis 5 Fluor-, Chlor- und/oder Bromatomen, wobei R jedoch nicht für 3-Chlor-but-2-en-1-yl steht. Bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Stoffe sind auch Additionsprodukte aus Säuren und Triazolyl-butan-Derivaten der Formel (I), in denen A und R die oben als bevorzugt angegebenen Bedeutungen haben. Zu den Säuren, die addiert werden können, gehören vorzugsweise Halogenwasserstoffsäuren, wie z.B. die Chlorwasserstoffsäure und die Bromwasserstoffsäure, insbesondere die Chlorwasserstoffsäure, ferner Phosphorsäure, Salpetersäure, Schwefelsäure, mono- und bifunktionelle Carbonsäuren und Hydroxycarbonsäuren, wie z.B. Essigsäure, Maleinsäure, Bernsteinsäure, Fumarsäure, Weinsäure, Zitronensäure, Salizylsäure, Sorbinsäure und Milchsäure sowie Sulfonsauren, wie z.B. p-Toluolsulfonsäure, 1,5-Naphthalindisulfonsäure oder Camphersulfonsäure, sowie Saccharin und Thiosaccharin.
Außerdem bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Verbindungen sind Additionsprodukte aus Salzen von Metallen der II. bis IV. Haupt- und der I. und II. sowie IV, bis VIII. Nebengruppe des Periodensystems der Elemente und Triazolylbutan-Derifaten der Formel (I), in denen A und R die oben als bevorzugt angegebenen Bedeutungen haben.
Hierbei sind Salze des Kupfers, Zinks, Mangans, Magnesiums, Zinns, Eisens und des Nickels besonders bevorzugt. Als Anionen dieser Salze kommen solche in Betracht, die sich von solchen Säuren ableiten, die zu physiologisch verträglichen Additionsprodukten führen. Besonders bevorzugte derartige Säuren sind in diesem Zusammenhang die Halogenwasserstoffsäuren, wie z.B. die Chlorwasserstoffsäure und die Bromwasserstoffsäure, ferner Phosphorsäure, Salpetersäure und Schwefelsäure.
Als Beispiele für erfindungsgemäße Stoffe seien die in der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführten Triazolyl-butan-Deri vate genannt.
Verwendet man 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl- 4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-3-on und Methyliodid als Ausgangsstoffe, so kann der Verlauf des erfindungsgemaßen Verfahrens durch das folgende Formelschema veranschaulicht werden:
Verwendet man 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl- 4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-pentan-3-on als Ausgangsstoff und Natriumborhydrid als Reduktionsmittel, so kann der Verlauf des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens durch das folgende Formelschema veranschaulicht werden:
Das bei der Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens als Ausgangsprodukt benötigte 1-(4-Trifluormethylphenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-3-on der Formel (II) ist bisher noch nicht bekannt. Es läßt sich herstellen, indem man Halogenketone der Formel

Hai für Chlor oder Brom steht, mit 1 ,2,4-Triazol der Formel
in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels und in Gegenwart eines Säurebindemittels umsetzt.
Als Verdünnungsmittel kommen bei der Herstellung von 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-3-on der Formel (II) inerte organische Lösungsmittel in Frage. Vorzugsweise verwendbar sind
Ketone, wie Aceton, Diethylketon und Methyl-ethylketon; Nitrile, wie Propionitril und λcetonitril; Alkohole, wie Ethanol oder Isopropanolj Ether, wie Tetrahydrofuran oder Dioxan; aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Toluol, Benzol oder Chlorbenzol; Formamide, wie Dimethylformamid; und halogenierte Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Methylenchlorid, Chloroform und Tetrachlorkohlenstoff.
Als Säurebindemittel können bei dem obigen Verfahren zur Herstellung von 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-3-on der Formel (II) alle üblichen anorganischen und organischen Säureakzeptoren eingesetzt werden« Vorzugsweise verwendbar sind Alkal imetallcarbonate, wie Natriumcarbonat, Kaliumcarbonat und Natriumhydrogencarbonat, oder niedere tertiäre Alkylamine, Cycloalkylamine oder Aralkylamine, beispielsweise Triethylamin, N,N-Dimethylcyclohexylamin, Dicyclohexylamin, N,N-Dimethylbenzylamin, weiterhin Pyridin und Diazabicyclooctan, oder auch ein Überschuß an 1 ,2,4-Triazol.
Die Reaktionstemperaturen können bei dem obigen Verfahren zur Herstellung von 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-3-on der Formel
(II) in einem größeren Bereich variiert werden. Im allgemeinen arbeitet man bei Temperaturen zwischen 20°C und 150°C, vorzugsweise zwischen 40°C und 120°C.
Bei der Herstellung des 1-(4-Trifluormethylphenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-3-ons der Formel (II) setzt man auf 1 Mol Halogenketon der Formel (IV), vorzugsweise 1 bis 2 Mol 1,2,4-Triazol der Formel (V) und 1 bis 4 Mol Säurebinder ein. Die Aufarbeitung erfolgt nach üblichen Methoden. Im allgemeinen geht man so vor, daß man feste Bestandteile abfiltriert, das Filtrat einengt, den Rückstand in einem in Wasser wenig löslichen organischen Solvens aufnimmt, die organische Phase mit Wasser wäscht, dann trocknet und einengt.
Die bei dem obigen Verfahren zur Herstellung von 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-3-on der Formel (II) als Ausgangsstoffe benötigten Halogenketone der Formel (IV) sind ebenfalls bisher noch nicht bekannt. Sie lassen sich herstellen, indem man 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethylbutan-3-on der Formel
mit Chlor oder Brom in Gegenwart eines inerten organischen Lösungsmittels, wie beispielsweise Ether, chlorierten oder nicht chlorierten Kohlenwasserstoffen, bei
Raumtemperatur umsetzt, oder mit üblichen Chlorierungsmittein, wie beispielsweise Sulfurylchlorid, bei Temperaturen zwischen 20 und 60°C umsetzt.
Das 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-butan-3-on der Formel (VI) ist bisher auch noch nicht bekannt. Es läßt sich herstellen, indem man Methyl-isopropyl-keton der Formel
mit 4-Trifluormethyl-benzyl-halogeniden der Formel

Hai für Chlor oder Brom steht, in Gegenwart einer Base, wie beispielsweise einem Alkali- oder Erdalkalimetallhydroxid, wie pulverisiertes Kalium- und Natriumhydroxid, und in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels, wie beispielsweise eines (cyclo)aliphatischen oder gegebenenfalls chlorierten aromatischen
Kohlenwasserstoffes, wie Benzol, Xylol, Chlorbenzol, Dichlorbenzol, Cyclohexan, Petrolether, Pentan, Hexan oder Toluol, sowie in Gegenwart eine Phasentransferkatalysators, wie beispielsweise eines Derivates von einem Ammo
niumsalz, wobei Triethylbenzylammonium-chlorid, Tetrabutylammonium-iodid, -bromid oder -chlorid speziell genannt seien, bei Temperaturen zwischen 0°C und 150°C umsetzt,
Methyl-isopropyl-keton der Formel (VII) und die Halogenide der Formel (VIII) sind bekannte Verbindungen der organischen Chemie.
Die bei der Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens als Reaktionskomponenten benötigten Verbindungen sind durch die Formel (III) allgemein definiert. In dieser Formel steht R vorzugsweise für diejenigen Reste, die bereits im Zusammenhang mit der Beschreibung der erfindungsgemäßen Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I) vorzugsweise für diesen Substituenten genannt wurden. X steht vorzugsweise für Chlor, Brom, lod, 4-Methyl-phenyl-sulfonyloxy, die Gruppierung -O-SO2-OR1 oder NR1 3, worin R1 für Methyl, Ethyl, n-Propyl oder Isopropyl steht. Die Verbindungen der Formel (III) sind allgemein bekannte Stoffe der organischen Chemie,
Als Verdünnungsmittel kommen bei der Durchführung der ersten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens inerte organische Solventien in Frage. Vorzugsweise verwendbar sind aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Benzol, Toluol oder Xylol, ferner halogenierte Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Methylenchlorid, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Chloroform oder
Chlorbenzol, außerdem Ester, wie Essigester, weiterhin Amide, wie Dimethyl formamid, und auch stark polare Lösungsmittel, wie Dimethylsulfoxid.
Als Basen kommen bei der Durchführung der ersten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens alle üblichen organisehen und anorganischen Säurebindemittel in Betracht,
Vorzugsweise verwendbar sind Alkalimetal Ihydroxide oder Alkal imetal lcarbonate, wie Natrium- und Kaliumhydroxid, Natriumcarbonat und Kai iumearbonat. Die Reaktionstemperaturen können bei der Durchführung der ersten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens in einem größeren Bereich variiert werden. Im allgemeinen arbeitet man bei Temperaturen zwischen 0°C und 100°C, vorzugsweise zwischen 20°C und 100°C.
Bei der Durchführung der ersten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens setzt man auf 1 Mol an Triazolyl-keton der Formel (II) vorzugsweise 1 bis 2 Mol an einer Verbindung der Formel (III) ein. Die Aufarbeitung erfolgt nach üblichen Methoden. Im allgemeinen geht man so vor, daß man das Reaktionsgemisch mit Wasser versetzt, das entstehende Gemisch mit einem mit Wasser wenig mischbaren organischen Lösungsmittel extrahiert, die organischen Phasen wäscht, trocknet und einengt und den verbleibenden Rückstand gegebenenfalls nach üblichen Methoden reinigt.
Die erste Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens kann auch in einem Zweiphasensystem, z.B. einem System aus
wäßriger Natron- oder Kalilauge/Toluol oder Methylenchlorid, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von 0,1 bis 1 Mol eines Phasen-Transfer-Katalysators, beispielsweise einer Ammonium- oder Phosphoniumverbindung, wie Benzyldodecyldimethyl-ammoniumchlorid oder Triethyl-benzyl-amraoniumchlorid, durchgeführt werden.
Sowohl die erste Stufe als auch die zweite Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens und auch die oben beschriebenen Umsetzungen zur Herstellung von Vorprodukten weiden im allgemeinen unter Normaldruck durchgeführt. Es ist jedoch auch möglich, jeweils unter erhöhtem oder vermindertem Druck zu arbeiten.
Die bei der Durchführung der ersten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens entstehenden Keto-Verbindungen der Formel (la) können entweder mit Hilfe von komplexen Hydriden oder Aluminiumisopropylat reduziert werden.
Als komplexe Hydride kommen bei der Durchführung der zweiten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens (Variante α) vorzugsweise Natriumborhydrid und Lithiumaluminiumhydrid in Frage.
Als Verdünnungsmittel kommen bei der Durchführung der zweiten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens nach Variante α polare organische Solventien in Betracht. Vorzugsweise verwendbar sind Alkohole, wie Methanol, Ethanol, Isopropanol oder Butanol, und Ether, wie Diethylether oder Tetrahydrofuran, oder auch Waeser im Gemisch mit einem Alkohol.
Die Reaktionstemperaturen können bei der Durchführung der zweiten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens nach Variante oc innerhalb eines bestimmten Bereiches variiert werden. Im allgemeinen arbeitet man bei Temperaturen zwischen 0°C und 30°C, vorzugsweise zwischen 0°C und 20°C.
Bei der Durchführung der zweiten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens nach Variante oc setzt man auf 1 Mol an Keto-Verbindung der Formel (la) ein äquivalente Menge oder auch einen Überschuß an komplexem Hydrid ein. Die Aufarbeitung erfolgt nach üblichen Methoden. Im allgemeinen geht man so vor, daß man das Reaktionsgemisch mit Wasser versetzt, mit einem mit Wasser wenig mischbaren organischen Solvens extrahiert, die vereinigten organischen Phasen trocknet und einengt. Es ist aber auch möglieh, das Reaktionsgemisch zunächst mit verdünnter, wäßriger Säure, z.B. Salzsäure, zu versetzen, dann alkalisch zu stellen und anschließend in der zuvor beschriebenen Weise zu arbeiten. Bei der Durchführung der zweiten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens nach Variante ß kommen als Verdünnungsmittel vorzugsweise Alkohole, wie Isopropanol, oder Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Benzol, in Frage. Bei der Durchführung der zweiten Stufe des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens nach Variante ß können die Reaktionstemperaturen in einem größeren Bereich variiert werden. Im allgemeinen arbeitet man bei Temperaturen zwischen 20°C und 120°C, vorzugsweise zwischen 50°C und 100°C.
Bei der Durchführung der zweiten Stufe des erf indungsgemäßen Verfahrens nach Variante ß setzt man auf 1 Mol an Keto-Verbindung der Formel (la) im allgemeinen 1 bis 2 Mol Aluminium-isopropylat ein. Die Aufarbeitung erfolgt nach üblichen Methoden. Im allgemeinen geht man in der Weise vor, daß man das Reaktionsgemisch einengt, den verbleibenden Rückstand mit verdünnter, wäßriger Säure oder Base behandelt, dann mit einem mit Wasser wenig mischbaren organischen Solvens extrahiert, die vereinigten organischen Phasen trocknet und einengt. Die erfindungsgemäßen Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I) können in Säureadditions-Salze oder MetallsalzKomplexe überführt werden.
Zur Herstellung von Säureaddit ions-Salzen der Verbindüngen der Formel (I) kommen vorzugsweise diejenigen Säuren in Frage, die bereits im Zusammenhang mit der Beschreibung der erfindungsgemäßen Säureadditions-Salze als bevorzugte Säuren genannt wurden. Die Säureadditions-Salze der Verbindungen der Formel (I) können in einfacher Weise nach üblichen Salzbildungsmethoden, z.B. durch Lösen einer Verbindung der Formel (I) in einem geeigneten inerten Lösungsmittel und Hinzufügen der Säure, z.B. Chlorwasserstoffsäure, erhalten werden und in bekannter Weise, z.B. durch Abfiltrieren, isoliert und gegebenenfalls durch Waschen mit einem inerten organischen Lösungsmittel gereinigt werden.
Zur Herstellung von Metallsalz-Komplexen der Verbindungen der Formel (I) kommen vorzugsweise diejenigen Salze von Metallen in Frage, die bereits im Zusammenhang mit der Beschreibung der erf indungsgemäßen Metallsalz-Komplexe als bevorzugte Metallsalze genannt wurden. Die Metallsalz-Komplexe der Verbindungen der Formel (I) können in einfacher Weise nach üblichen Verfahren erhalten werden, so z.B. durch Lösen des Metallsalzes in Alkohol, z.B. Ethanol und Hinzufügen zu Verbindungen der Formel (I). Man kann Metallsalz-Komplexe in bekannter Weise, z.B. durch Abfiltrieren, isolieren und gegebenenfalls durch Umkristal 1 isation reinigen.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe weisen eine starke mikrobizide Wirkung auf und können als Fungizide eingesetzt werden.
Fungizide werden im Pflanzenschutz eingesetzt zur Bekämpfung von Plasmodiophoromycetes, Oomycetes, Chytridiomycetes, Zygomycetes, Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Deuteromycetes,

Die gute Pflanzenverträglichkeit der Wirkstoffe in den zur Bekämpfung von Pflanzenkrankheiten notwendigen Konzentrationen erlaubt eine Behandlung von oberirdischen Pflanzenteilen, von Pflanz- und Saatgut und des Bodens.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe eignen sich insbesondere zur Bekämpfung von Pyricularia oryzae und Pellicularia sasakii an Reis sowie zur Bekämpfung von Getreidekrankheiten, wie Leptosphaeria nodorum, Cochliobolus sativus, Pyrenophora teres, Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides, Puccinia recondita, Erysiphe und Fusarium-Arten. Außerdem zeigen die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe eine sehr gute Wirkung gegen Uncinula» Sie besitzen auch eine breite in-vitro-Wirkung.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe können in die üblichen Formulierungen überführt werden, wie Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Schäume, Pasten, Granulate, Aerosole, Feinstverkapselungen in polymeren Stoffen und in Hüllmassen für Saatgut, sowie ULV-Formulierungen. Diese Formulierungen werden in bekannter Weise hergestellt, z.B. durch Vermischen der Wirkstoffe mit Streckmitteln, also flüssigen Lösungsmitteln, unter Druck stehenden verflüssigten Gasen und/oder festen Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung von oberflächenaktiven Mitteln, also Emulgiermitteln und/oder Dispergiermitteln und/oder schaumerzeugenden Mitteln. Im Falle der Benutzung von Wasser als Streckmittel können z.B. auch organische Lösungsmittel als Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet werden. Als flüssige Lösungsmittel kommen im wesentlichen in Frage: Aromaten, wie Xylol, Toluol, oder
Alkylnaphthal ine, chlorierte Aromaten oder chlorierte aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Chlorbenzole,
Chlorethylene oder Methylenchlorid, aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Cyclohexan oder Paraffine, z.B. Erdδlfraktionen, Alkohole, wie Butanol oder Glycol sowie deren Ether und Ester, Ketone, wie Aceton, Methylethylketon, Methyl isobutylketon oder Cyclohexanon, stark polare Lösungsmittel, wie Dimethylformamid und Dimethylsulfoxid, sowie Wasser; mit verflüssigten gasförmigen Streckmitteln oder Trägerstoffen sind solche Flüssigkeiten gemeint, welche bei normaler Temperatur und unter Normaldruck gasförmig sind, z.B. Aerosol-Treibgase, wie Butan, Propan, Stickstoff und Kohlendioxid; als feste Trägerstoffe kommen in Frage: z.B. natürliche Gesteinsmehle, wie Kaoline, Tonerden, Talkum, Kreide, Quarz, Attapulgit, Montmoril lonit oder Diatomeenerde und synthetische Gesteinsmehle, wie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Aluminiumoxid und Silikate; als feste Trägerstoffe für Granulate kommen in Frage: z.B. gebrochene und fraktionierte natürliche Gesteine wie Calcit, Marmor, Bims, Sepiolith, Dolomit sowie synthetische Granulate aus anorganischen und organischen Mehlen sowie Granulate aus organischem Material wie Sägemehl, Kokosnußschalen, Maiskolben und Tabakstengel; als Emulgier- und/oder schaumerzeugende Mittel kommen in Frage: z.B. nichtionogene und anionische Emulgatoren, wie PolyoxyethylenFettsäure-Ester, Polyoxyethylen-Fettalkohol-Ether, z.B. Alkylarylpolyglykol-Ether, Alkylsulfonate, Alkylsulfate, Arylsulfonate sowie Eiweißhydrolysate; als Dispergiermittel kommen in Frage: z.B. Lignin-Sulfitablaugen und Methyl cel lulose.
Es können in den Formulierungen Haftmittel wie Carboκymethylcel lulose, natürliche und synthetische pulverige, körnige oder latexformige Polymere verwendet werden, wie Gummiarabicum, Polyvinylalkohol, Polyvinylacetat, sowie natürliche Phosphol ipide, wie Kephaline und Lecithine, und synthetische Phosphol ipide. Weitere Additive können mineralische und vegetabile Öle sein.
Es können Farbstoffe wie anorganische Pigmente, z.B.
Eisenoxid, Titanoxid, Ferrocyanblau und organische Farbstoffe, wie Alizarin-, Azo- und Metal lphthalocyaninfarbstoffe und Spurennährstoffe wie Salze von Eisen, Mangan, Bor, Kupfer, Kobalt, Molybdän und Zink verwendet werden.
Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und 90 %.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in den Formulierungen in Mischung mit anderen bekannten Wirkstoffen vorliegen wie Fungizide, Insektizide, Akarizide und Herbizide sowie in Mischungen mit Düngemitteln und Wachstumsregulatoren.
Die Wirkstoffe können als solche, in Form ihrer Formulierungen oder den daraus bereiteten Anwendungsformen wie gebrauchsfertige Lösungen, emulgierbare Konzentrate, Emulsionen, Schäume, Suspensionen, Spritzpulver, Pasten, lösliche Pulver, Stäubemittel und Granulate, angewendet werden. Die Anwendung geschieht in üblicher Weise, z.B.
durch Gießen, Verspritzen, Versprühen, Verstreuen, Verstäuben, Verschäumen, Bestreichen usw. Es ist ferner möglich, die Wirkstoffe nach dem Ultra-Low-Volume-Verfahren auszubringen oder die WirkstoffZubereitung oder den Wirkstoff selbst in den Boden zu injizieren. Es kann auch das Saatgut der Pflanzen behandelt werden.
Beim Einsatz der erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe kann die Aufwandmenge je nach Art der Applikation in einem größeren Bereich variiert werden. So liegen die Wirkstoffkonzentrationen bei der Behandlung von Pflanzenteilen in den Anwendungsformen im allgemeinen zwischen 1 und 0,0001 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und 0,001 %. Bei der Saatgutbehandlung werden im allgemeinen Wirkstoffmengen von 0,001 bis 50 g je kg Saatgut, vorzugsweise 0,01 bis 10 g benötigt. Bei der Behandlung des Bodens sind Wirkstoffkonzentrationen von 0,00001 bis 0,1 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise von 0,0001 bis 0,02 %, am Wirkungsort erforderl ich.
Die Herstellung und die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe geht aus den folgenden Beispielen hervor.
Herstellunosbeispiele
Beispiel 1
Eine Lösung von 4,15 g (0,074 Mol) Kaliumhydroxid in 25 ml Wasser wird bei Raumtemperatur beginnend innerhalb von 10 Minuten unter Rühren in eine Lösung von 15 g (0,048 Mol) 1-(4-Trifluormethylphenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-2-on und 10,5 g (0,074 Mol) Methyliodid in 130 ml Dimethylsulfoxid eingetropft. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird dabei durch Kühlung auf 40°C gehalten. Nach beendeter Zugabe wird 5 Stunden bei 40°C nachgerührt. Zur Aufarbeitung wird das Reaktionsgemisch in Wasser gegossen. Man extrahiert das entstehende Gemisch mehrfach mit Methylenchlorid, wäscht die vereinigten organischen Phasen zweimal mit Wasser, trocknet über Natriumsulfat und engt durch Abziehen des Lösungsmittels unter vermindertem Druck ein. Der verbleibende Rückstand wird mit Essigester als Laufmittel an Kieselgel chromatographiert. Man erhält auf diese Weise 7,0 g (44,9 % der Theorie) an 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-pentan-3-on in Form eines Öles.

Herstellung der Ausgangsprodukte
In ein Gemisch aus 84 g (1,22 Mol) 1,2,4-Triazol und
421 g (3,048 Mol) Kai iumcarbonat in 2.400 ml λceton läßt man bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren 328 g (1,014 Mol) 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl) -2 ,2-dimethyl -4-brom-butan-3-oH eintropfen . Das Reaktionβgemisch wird 10 Stunden bei 40° C gerührt und dann abgesaugt. Das Filtrat wird unter vermindertem Druck eingeengt, und der verbleibende Rückstand wird in Methylenchlorid aufgenommen. Die entstehende organische Phase wird zweimal mit Wasser gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und unter vermindertem
Druck eingeengt. Der verbleibende Rückstand wird aus Diisopropylether umkristallisiert. Man erhält auf diese Weise 163,6 g (51,9 % der Theorie) an 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan- 2-on in Form einer Festsubstanz vom Schmelzpunkt 73°C.
Zu einer Lösung von 235,2 g (0,964 Mol) 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-butan-3-on in 1.200 ml Chlo
roform läßt man bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren 154,0 g (0,964 Mol) Brom hinzutropfen. Das Reakt ionsgemisch wird 30 Minuten bei Raumtemperatur nachgerührt und dann mit Wasser gewaschen. Die organische Phase wird über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und dann unter vermindertem Druck eingeengt. Man erhält auf diese Weise 312,0 g (100 % der Theorie) an 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-brom-butan-3-on in Form eines Öles.
In ein Gemisch aus 288,4 g (5,14 Mol) Kaliumhydroxid und 17 g Tetrabutyl-ammonium-bromid in 430 ml Toluol läßt man bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren 288,3 g (3,35 Mol) Methyl-isopropyl-keton schnell eintropfen. Anschließend werden bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren 333,4 g (1,71 Mol) 4-Trifluormethylbenzylchlorid zugetropft. Man läßt
5 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur nachrühren, versetzt dann mit Wasser, trennt die organische Phase ab und engt unter vermindertem Druck ein. Der verbleibende Rückstand wird unter vermindertem Druck destilliert. Man erhält auf diese Weise 235,2 g (54,3 % der Theorie) an 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-butan-3-on in Form einer Flüssigkeit vom Siedepunkt 135°C bei 30 mbar.

Beispiel 2
In eine Lösung von 4,7 g (0,0145 Mol) 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-pentan3-on in 50 ml Methanol wird bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren eine Lösung von 0,2 g (0,0048 Mol) Natriumborhydrid in 5 ml Wasser gegeben. Man läßt 3 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur nachrühren, engt unter vermindertem Druck ein, versetzt den Rückstand mit Wasser und extrahiert mit Methylenchlorid. Die vereinigten organischen Phasen werden über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und unter vermindertem Druck eingeengt» Man erhält auf diese Weise 4,1 g (87 % der Theorie) an 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-pentan-3-ol in Form eines Öles.

Zur Prüfung auf protektive Wirksamkeit besprüht man junge Pflanzen mit der WirkstoffZubereitung taufeucht. Nach Antrocknen des Spritzbelages werden die Pflanzen an der Halmbasis mit Sporen von Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides inokuliert.
Die Pflanzen werden in einem Gewächshaus bei einer Temperatur von ca. 10°C und einer relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit von ca. 80 5. aufgestellt,
21 Tage nach der Inokulation erfolgt die Auswertung,
In diesem Test zeigen die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe der Formeln (1-1), (1-4), (1-5), (1-7) - (1-9), (1-15) und
(1-16) bei einer Konzentration von 250 ppm in der Spritzbrühe eine wesentlich bessere Wirksamkeit als die Vergleichssubstanz (B),

Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen WirkstoffZubereitung vermischt man 1 Gewichtsteil Wirkstoff mit der angegebenen Menge Lösungsmittel und verdünnt das Konzentrat mit Wasser und der angegebenen Menge Emulgator auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
Zur Prüfung auf protektive Wirksamkeit bespritzt man junge Reispflanzen mit der WirkstoffZubereitung bis zur Tropfnässe. Nach dem Abtrocknen des Spritzbelages werden die Pflanzen mit einer wäßrigen Sporensuspension von
Pyricularia oryzae inokuliert. Anschließend werden die Pflanzen in einem Gewächshaus bei 100 % rel. Luftfeuchtigkeit und 25°C aufgestellt. 4 Tage nach der Inokulation erfolgt die Auswertung des Krankheitsbefalls.
In diesem Test zeigen die erf indungsgemäßen Stoffe der Formeln (1-5), (1-11), (1-12) und (1-14) bei einer Konzentration von 0,025 Gew.-X in der Spritzbrühe eine wesentlich bessere Wirksamkeit als die Vergleichssubstanz (A).

Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen WirkstoffZubereitung vermischt man 1 Gewichtsteil Wirkstoff mit den angegebenen Mengen Lösungsmittel und Emulgator und verdünnt das Konzentrat mit Wasser auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
Zur Prüfung auf protektive Wirksamkeit bespritzt man junge Pflanzen mit der WirkstoffZubereitung bis zur
Tropfnässe. Nach Antrocknen des Spritzbelages werden die Pflanzen mit Konidien des Pilzes Uncinula necator bestäubt.
Die Pflanzen werden anschließend bei 23 bis 24°C und bei einer relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit von ca. 75 % im Gewächshaus aufgestellt.
14 Tage nach der Inokulation erfolgt die Auswertung.
In diesem Test zeigen die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe der Formeln (1-2), (1-3), (1-5), (1-6), (1-8), (1-10), (1-11) und (1-13) bis (1-15) bei einer Konzentration von 25 ppm in der Spritzbrühe einen Wirkungsgrad von 100 % ,

A für eine Ketogruppe oder eine CH(OH) -Gruppierung steht und
R für Alkyl, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Cycloalkylalkyl, Alkenyl, Alkinyl oder Halogenalkenyl steht, wobei aber die Bedeutung 3-Chlorbut-2-en-1-yl ausgenommen ist, sowie deren Säureadditions-Salze und MetallsalzKomplexe.
2. Fungizide Mittel, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an mindestens einem Triazolyl-butan-Derivat der Formel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1 bzw. an einem Säureadditions-Salz oder Metallsalz-Komplex eines Triazolylbutan-Derivates der Formel (I).
3. Verfahren zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1 bzw. deren SäureadditionsSalze oder Metallsalz-Komplexe auf die Pilze und/ oder deren Lebensraum ausbringt.
4. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Triazolyl-butan-Derivaten der Formel
in welcher
A für eine Ketogruppe oder eine CH(OH)-Gruppierung steht und
R für Alkyl, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Cycloalkylalkyl, Alkenyl, Alkinyl oder Halogenalkenyl steht, wobei aber die Bedeutung 3-Chlorbut-2-en-1-yl ausgenommen ist, sowie von deren Säureadditions-Salzen und Metallsalz-Komplexen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Triazolyl-Keton der Formel
mit Verbindungen der Formel
R-X (III) in welcher R die oben angegebenen Bedeutungen hat und X für eine elektronenziehende Abgangsgruppe steht, in Gegenwart einer Base und in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels oder in einem wäßrig-organischen
Zweiphasensystem in Gegenwart eines Phasen-transfer¬
Katalysators umsetzt und gegebenenfalls die dabei entstehenden Keto-Verbindungen der Formel
ln welcher
R die oben angegebenen Bedeutungen hat, entweder α) mit komplexen Hydriden in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels umsetzt, oder ß) mit Aluminium- isopropylat in Gegenwart eines
Verdünnungsmittels umsetzt, und gegebenenfalls anschließend an die so erhaltenen Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I) eine Säure oder ein Metallsalz addiert.
5. Verwendung von Triazolyl -butan-Der ivaten der Fomel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1 bzw. von deren Säureaddit ionsSalzen und Metallsalz-Komplexen zur Bekämpfung von Pi lzen.
6. Verfahren zur Herstellung von fungiziden Mitteln, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Triazolyl-butan-Derivate der Formel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1 bzw. deren Metallsalz-Komplexe oder Säureadditions-Salze mit Streckmitteln und/oder oberflächenaktiven Stoffen vermischt.

dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Halogenketone der Formel

in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels und in Gegenwart eines Säurebindemi ttels umsetzt.

10. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Halogenketonen der

dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man 1-(4-Trifluormethylphenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-butan-3-on der Formel
mit Chlor, Brom oder Sulfuryl chlorid gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels umsetzt.
11. 1-(4-Trifluormethyl-phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-butan-3-on der Formel
12. Verfahren zur Herstellung von 1-(4-Trifluormethylphenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-butan-3-on der Formel
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Methyl-isopropylketon der Formel
mit 4-Trifluormethyl-benzyl-halogeniden der Formel in welcher
Hal für Chlor oder Brom steht, in Gegenwart einer Base sowie in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels und eines Phasen-transfer-Katalysators umsetzt.
