Abstract

Protéine gp125 de recombinaison du virus d'Epstein-Barr (EBV) qui est produite dans un système d'expression baculovirus dans une quantité et une pureté suffisantes pour permettre son utilisation dans des dosages immunologiques tels qu'ELISA en vue de la détection quantitative des anticorps VCA-IgG et VCA-IgM de l'EBV. La protéine gp125 de recombinaison est similaire de par sa taille à l'antigène de capside virale EBV-gp125 isolée de lignées cellulaires humaines infectées par l'EVB. Elle a en outre une sensibilité et une spécificité similaire pour les anticorps VCA-Ig dans les dosages immunologiques.
