Under the action of impact, the regrind grains are comminuted into particles of different sizes by transmitting the speed vector opposite to the acceleration. The shredded particles then go to a separator, where they are separated accordingly. The separator is located outside the crushing zone and the particles approach each other tangentially. The particles of the desired size are discharged as a finished product, and coarse particles are returned to the comminution zone in a second comminution stage, where they are subjected to an acceleration and impact again, however, in contrast to the first stage, finer particles are formed. There is again a separation into coarse and finished product outside the comminution zone, the coarse product again being fed to the first comminution stage.
