Definitions
- the invention relates to a safety gate flag for skiing, which has two optionally can be attached with a tilting gate bars and on a side edge a first receptacle for pushing through a gate bar and has an axially displaceable fastening elements on the gate bar.
- a signal flag is known, particularly for water skiing (US-A 3,640,242) consisting of two along the top and the two side edges interconnected side parts.
- This one A gate flag forming an open pocket can be used to display different colors
- Signals are turned and attached to a pole, e.g. B. thereby that the rod is inserted into the pocket along one side edge.
- a such signal flag which is only attached to a pole, can meet the safety requirements however, it is by no means sufficient for alpine skiing.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of a goal flag for skiing propose that is not only very safe for the racers concerned, but also that remains on its goal posts in the unfolded position of use during the race, even if a racer hits one of the goal poles or even the goal flag touched yourself.
- a second receptacle for pushing one has another gate bar and that on the gate flag in the area of the first receptacle a closed one above the top end of the gate bar sliding fastener is provided.
- a central area of the Gate flag is made of rubber-elastic material. This will make the gate flag overall more compliant and does well with the movements imposed on it.
- the gate flag must also be securely fastened to the inner gate rod become.
- the measures according to claim 3 are preferred.
- the clamping sleeve mentioned there causes the necessary, sufficiently stable attachment the gate flag on this gate bar.
- a clamping sleeve is preferably provided on it, which if necessary can be operated via a pull cord with a handle, or even without this pull cord, the lever is then preferred is so angled that you can also use it with a can swivel gloved hand.
- the measures according to claim 4 are particularly important, because it causes the gate flag to be pulled up onto the gate poles is particularly easy, even in extreme cold, when working with gloves.
- the rags mentioned in claim 5 may facilitate this Raise the gate flag on the goal posts, one of the Rag also with a Velcro tape or the like can be provided to attach a goal sequence number enable.
- the cavity of the flag mentioned in claim 7 is facilitated attaching the ferrule.
- the recesses of the clamping sleeve mentioned in claim 8 make it easier to attach the ferrule to the flag.
- the fastening tape according to claim 9 serves the same purpose.
- the present invention thus becomes the essential Advantage achieved that the flag is no longer in a race can slip, as was previously the case, in particular when you can no longer tie the flag to its gate poles may. All work on the gate flag according to the invention can even run with gloves, which is very cold is a considerable advantage.
- the embodiment with closed is particularly preferred Clamping sleeves because they can no longer fall down.
- the safety gate flag 4 consists of three parts I, II, III, with parts I and II made of a very lubricious, wind permeable fabric material and the part III from a very elastic material or from a rubber-like Material consist, as shown in Fig. 1, in the middle a safety gate flag 4 is arranged.
- This compilation of different materials results in a safety function.
- the flag 4 at III is sideways particularly stretchy, while the two parts I and II consist of a piece of fabric that is quite normal, due to of the recordings A and B (arrow) the flag 4 on the two gate poles 2 and 3 in the longitudinal direction particularly slidably on and can slide off.
- the flag 4 on the inner gate bar 3 at the top End of a clamping sleeve 7 7 with a clamping lever 8 on the Gate bar 3 held and every movement of the flag 4 will prevented at this point so that the same when starting a gate 3 from the racer does not slip or even is thrown from the gate bar 3 and not every time again the gate poles must be attached.
- a stocking-like fastening part 5 provided that is connected to the flag 4 and must be sewn stably at the top to prevent the flag from sliding 4 to prevent the gate bar 2 down.
- the fastening part 5 can also be a simple Be part of fabric.
- Another advantage of this invention is that when it comes up easily wind the flag 4 without opening the ribbons steplessly shifted downwards on the two goal rods 2, 3 can be when the mounting part 5 of the gate bar 2nd is removed.
- small projecting tabs 14, 15 on the Flag 4 mainly used to open the two shots A and B with gloves on to attach the Flag 4 on goal bars 2 and 3 even in extreme cold enable.
- one of the tabs 14, 15 can be made from a Velcro fastener tape exist and attaching a number 10 (or the like) can be used as a goal number sequence.
- the three-part safety gate flag 4 can consist of simple material and yet with all the advantages mentioned above, as in the illustrates the present invention.
- Fig. 2 shows an open special clamping sleeve 30 with a cut 31, which can be slightly overlapped (not visible) and with a recess 32 and at the end again with one Notch 33.
- This clamping sleeve 30 no longer has to be cumbersome and with a lot of work by hand into the flag 4, 20 can be sewn in, but can be sewn on fastest way in a simple way on a flag 4, 20 already attached tether (not visible) can be inserted and fixed.
- This technical Solution allowed large numbers of flags without much more cost can be made.
- clamping sleeve 30 is no longer as before the flag 4 is pressed onto the inner gate rod 3 in FIG. 1, but inside one Free space directly with the gate bar non-slip connected.
- FIG. 3 shows a closed clamping sleeve 34, which in FIG. 1 is installed. It is primarily the two recesses 36,37 with the incisions 42,43 for easy attachment of the Clamping sleeve 34 to the flag 4 inevitable to a Attach or remove the sleeve 34 with the band 40 to achieve.
- a Retaining strap 40 is provided, as shown in FIG. 3, by the two recesses 36,37 is pulled through to the To be able to connect volume 40 with the flag 4.
- the lever 35 has a special shape so that it is in the closed position State exactly against the clamping sleeve 34 to a
- the clamping sleeve 34 gets stuck on a ski racer prevent.
- a cord 11 or the like
- the shape of the lever 35 to open since yes enough Free space (arrow 39) is available to pass with one finger get.
- the clamping sleeve 34 could also without recesses 36, 37 and Incisions 42, 43 may be provided and for attaching the same the tether 40 on a flag (not visible) be sewn to the beginning of a band 44 so that the other part of the Band 40 pulled through the closed clamping sleeve 34 can and with the end of the other retaining strap 45th sewn again with the flag (not visible) become.
- the clamping sleeve 34 would then not be more detachably arranged on a flag, but captive.
- the safety gate flag according to the invention can go up from a racer are stripped from the gate bar 2, while the gate flag 4 on the inner gate rod 3 in Fig. 1 of the clamping sleeve 7 or of the clamping sleeve 30 in Fig. 2 is still held on the gate bar 3 and cannot be taken with the racer.
- the two recordings A, B are dimensioned so that the flag 4 even in difficult conditions, for example in stormy and cold weather, perfectly on the gate poles can be pulled up and pulled off again.
- the closed clamping sleeve 7 clamps with the help of the cord 11 the clamping lever 7 immovably on the gate bar 3 so that here the flag cannot slip with the left, inner gate rail 3 is connected.
- the open clamping sleeve can be found on the upper part of the flag 4 can be moved continuously on the gate bar 3, if this should prove to be necessary.
- the open clamping sleeve 30 in FIG. 2 has two recesses 31, 33, which attach the sleeve 30 to the flag 4 enable without having to sew the flag on it.
- the clamping sleeve 34 can be attached to the flag at any time.
- the bend 39 in Fig. 3 is selected so that one with Gloves can operate the lever 35 accordingly, i.e. possibly also without the pull cord 41.
- the two slots 42, 43 in FIG. 3 enable threading the clamping sleeve 34 with the retaining band 40, so that the clamping sleeve detached from and attached to the flag at any time can be.
- the retaining strap 40 can also be on one side with a be provided with non-slip adhesive material and will only be used with the open clamping sleeves 30,21,24 used. This has the big one Advantage that the clamping sleeves after pressing on the gate bar 3,22,25 an immediate stable, non-slip connection can manufacture.
- Fig. 1 the length of a fastening part 5 Velcro (not visible) to be sewn on and likewise of the same length on the flag 4 in order to turn the stocking-like fastening part 5 down over the gate bar 2 the flag in the to be able to hold the desired height.
