- the securing finger 68 When the securing finger 68 is kept fully retracted in the first coupling member 40, the latter is then free to rotate inside the blind hole 64 of the second coupling member 52 since the end 78 of the securing finger 68 is no longer in the secured position. Similarly, the second coupling member 52 is free to rotate in the bore 80 of the base 82, the latter driving in its rotation the ball 108 forming a replacement member, but it does not carry with it the first member coupling 40 which remains stationary.
- the disengageable coupling device 14 ensures the separation of the two rods 8 and 16 and therefore prohibits the control of the latch bolt 6 of the lock from the external actuating stand 18 linked to the rod 16.
- the control of the latch bolt 6 is only possible from the interior stand 10.
- the composition of an appropriate code on the keypad 28 allows the motor 120 to be controlled by the control device 122, so that the latter rotates the ring 104 clockwise to a position corresponding to that shown on the Figures 2 and 3.
- the locking pin 107 comes into contact with the side wall of the projecting part 100 of the flange 94 thus limiting the stroke of the ring 104.
- the end 78 of the securing finger 68 is then again received in the radial hole 76, while the substitution member formed by the ball 108 is retracted at the end of the radial hole 102 of the base 82.
