Abstract

The plastics cylindrical newspaper receptacle (1) takes a rolled-up packet and is closed at one end by a first, plastics cover (2) integral with the cylinder. The other end through which the rolled-up packet is inserted into the receptacle has a second, at least partly closeable cover (3). The second cover is made of plastics or natural material fastened by a tie-string or rubber band. The tubular receptacle has reinforcement rings (10,11) and an ID of approx. 29 cm and length of approx. 41 cm. The attachments consists of at least two rings (4,5) riveted to the outside of the receptacle and spaced axially apart in relation to the centre axis.
