Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pipe cleaning machine for driving Spring shafts through a hollow shaft connected to a drive motor, the is stored in a machine housing and with a rotary clutch acts at least two clutch shoes that are radially and axially movable in recesses delimited by parallel surfaces, one with the hollow shaft rotatable jaw holder are stored and under the influence of a control device are pressed against the spring shaft.
  • Pipe cleaning machines of this type with two coupling jaws are through DE-PS 27 14 124 known.
  • the so-called spring shafts are also known, which are relatively torsionally stiff but otherwise flexible Coil springs, several of which are specially trained Couplings strung together through the hollow shaft of the pipe cleaning machine can be passed through.
  • Various cleaning tools can be attached to the end of these spring shafts be used for boring or cutting impurities serve in pipelines that can have a very tortuous course. These tools include, for example, cross-blade drills, ring saws, Slingshot chains, milling heads, etc. It is also possible through the spring shafts Pass pressure hoses through so that in the area of the cleaning tool an additional rinsing effect can be generated.
  • the jaw holder rigidly connected to the hollow shaft and by means of this outside the Machine housing overhung.
  • the jaw holder has two approximately rectangular recesses, in two clutch shoes diametrically opposite to the axis of rotation are arranged over two parallel inclined surfaces with crossbars on the one hand and axially movable plungers on the other hand, a radial movement by implementing an axial movement run through which the clutch shoes engage in a frictional engagement the spring shaft are brought.
  • This flying storage has the purpose remove the clutch shoes individually without further disassembly and to be able to clean or replace.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of a pipe cleaning machine to specify the genus described at the beginning, in which from the Rotating parts protruding from the machine housing are not in contact with others Can catch objects and where the clutch shoes to Not individually handled for cleaning and / or replacement Need to become.
  • the solution to the problem is the one described at the beginning Pipe cleaning machine according to the invention in that the hollow shaft one end twist-proof with a circumference at least in essentially closed clutch housing of larger inner diameter is connected as the inner diameter of the hollow shaft and that the Jaw holder with the coupling jaws non-rotatable, but in the axial direction is removably mounted in the clutch housing.
  • the jaw holders with the clutch jaws have, so to speak the shape and characteristics of a "coupling cartridge", and the operator
  • a pipe cleaning machine can be a whole range of Carry clutch cartridges with you, their connection dimensions on the clutch housing one and the same pipe cleaning machine are coordinated, so that it is simply pulling such a cartridge out of the clutch housing and the replacement by another cartridge is required in order to pipe cleaning machine concerned to a different diameter of the Convert spring shafts.
  • Through the fixed connection of the clutch housing with the hollow shaft with a smaller inner diameter is achieved at the same time that no impurities from the spring shaft be dragged into the machine can penetrate.
  • a particularly easy to release and restore connection of the The jaw holder in the clutch housing consists in the use of a known one Bayonet connection.
  • At least one pivot bearing for the hollow shaft arranged between the clutch housing and the machine housing is. In this way, flying storage of the jaw holder is avoided and suppresses a tendency to vibrate.
  • the second guide body is namely passed through the respective clutch shoe and at both ends in Jaw holder stored. If the clutch shoe is to be replaced, so it is easily possible to use the second guide body as Dowel pin or grooved pin can be made from its two Drill out holes, after which the clutch shoe by a slight Swivel movement can be removed from the jaw holder can. But this does not cause any difficulties, since the jaw holder is with the clutch shoes as a whole from the clutch housing in the form of a cartridge is taken out.
  • the clutch shoes starting have a blind hole in the middle of their friction surface, whose axis in the direction of the longest cross-sectional axis of the elongated hole runs and in between the end of the blind hole and that in the slot located guide body a compression spring is arranged through which Coupling shoe after retracting the control device into its farthest open position is moved.
  • This central arrangement of the Compression springs generate absolutely symmetrical forces that tend to tilt the coupling jaws between the parallel walls of the recesses prevent in the jaw holder.
  • the compression spring is also protected and is as long as possible between the clutch shoe and the Guide body included as long as it is not removed. Thereby, that the central hole for the compression spring from the friction surface goes out, this compression spring can be installed and removed through the friction surface as long as the guide body is not inserted. After insertion of the guide body but the compression spring is captive and protected captured.
  • a pipe cleaning machine 1 is shown, to which a Machine housing 2 belongs that from a frame or a central frame and two lids, which are not shown in detail here or are decreased.
  • the machine housing 2 is equipped with casters 3.
  • Inside the machine housing 2 is a hollow shaft 4 with a horizontal axis of rotation A-A arranged near its front End is mounted in a bearing block 5 with a roller bearing 6.
  • the drive the hollow shaft 4 is by a belt drive 7 and an electric drive motor 8 causes. Power connections, switches etc. are indicative shown, but not numbered in detail, since these furnishings to State of the art belong.
  • the hollow shaft 4 is non-rotatable with a clutch housing 9 provided, so to speak, an extension of the hollow shaft 4th represents, but has a significantly larger inner diameter than that Hollow shaft 4 itself.
  • This clutch housing is at least on the circumference essentially closed and delimited by two stepped cylinder surfaces, the larger of which has a support shoulder 10 for two roller bearings 11 forms over which the clutch housing 9 and thus the other end of the Support the hollow shaft 4 in the machine housing 2.
  • This has on the perimeter of the clutch housing 9 or from its support shoulder 10 a protruding annular collar 12, which the operator before any accidental Contact with the clutch housing 9 protects.
  • Collar 12 is the clutch housing 9 with its support shoulder 10 on it entire length housed in the machine housing 2.
  • the clutch housing 9 forms in cooperation with those below Installation parts described in more detail, a rotary clutch 13, whose jaw holder 14 only a short pipe section 15 is visible, which as Handle for removing the jaw holder, but no surface irregularities possesses that to catch with other objects could serve.
  • the rotary clutch 13 is actuated by a control device 16 which will be explained in more detail with reference to Figure 2.
  • a control device 16 includes an angled hand lever 17, only a portion of which is shown, and through a bellows 18 into the machine housing 2 is introduced.
  • the rotary clutch 13 can be controlled, namely for this purpose the hand lever 17 is connected to a shift fork 20 which is located inside the machine housing 2.
  • FIG. 2 shows the manner in which the hollow shaft 4 with the as a body of revolution trained coupling housing 9 is connected, namely by a shrink fit.
  • the clutch housing has graduated inner and outer cylinder surfaces and is a multi-part bayonet connection 21 releasably connected to the jaw holder 14.
  • the jaw holder 14 has a main part 22, in which are two radial recesses 23, the parallel Areas 24 and 25 are limited.
  • the cohesion takes place via a closed Ring part 26, in which there are cylindrical pins 27, the parts of the Bayonet connection 21 are.
  • the jaw holder 14 By pushing in, turning and pulling out by means of the pipe section 15, the jaw holder 14 can be moved in the axial direction take it out of the clutch housing 9 with the two Coupling shoes 28 and 29 which are axially and radially movable between the Surfaces 24 and 25 are guided.
