- the invention relates to an information transmission system according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such data management within a print shop via a network of the type described above has a great potential for efficiency, but this efficiency is currently limited by the fact that both the creation of a print job, i.e. the awarding of a print job by the customer to the print shop, and the distribution the print products are shaped in a very classic way. So it often happens that a print shop executes orders, which probably represent a high utilization in terms of work and machine usage time, but does not bring an optimal return due to the existing machine park.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to expand an information transmission system in accordance with the preamble of claim 1 such that, in particular, the costs, transport routes and transport times in the production of printed products can be minimized on the one hand and the utilization of a print shop can also be optimized.

- the potential customers of printers - e.g. Advertising agencies - with a computer designed in particular as a personal computer, software by means of which the template for an image to be printed can be created.

- the type of substrate, the number of copies to be printed, the print quality and the destinations to which the printed copies should then be distributed are to be mentioned.
- the distribution of the printed product which is reflected in the requirement profile, is also taken into account.
- a distribution of the order is thus already provided when the print order is awarded, so that preferably the print product, which will later be used at several locations e.g. is intended as an advertising printed matter, is already created in print shops that are as close as possible to the locations in which the distribution must then take place.
