La présente invention concerne un barbecue portable amélioré dont les parois latérales sont dépliables, ce qui permet de faire cuire avantageusement une grande variété d'aliments. Ce barbecue se compose d'un corps principal; d'une paire de parois latérales disposées sur la partie supérieure du corps principal et définissant entre elles une chambre de cuisson; d'éléments chauffants montés de chaque côté des parois latérales; d'un dispositif d'alimentation en gaz fournissant du gaz à l'élément chauffant, d'un gril rotatif monté à l'intérieur de la chambre de cuisson, et d'un dispositif moteur permettant d'entraîner le gril rotatif.
