Abstract

Un équipement dentaire, qui présente une batterie d'instruments, comprend un support (2) réservé aux instruments dynamiques (1) ou aux manches d'instruments manuels ainsi que les mécanismes d'entraînement associés, un dipositif de détection (3) réagissant au retrait d'un instrument ou d'un manche hors de son support, un dispositif de commande d'instrument (7) doté d'un élément de commande mobile (8) permettant d'activer et de commander l'instrument choisi et de commander des fonctions auxiliaires en parallèle. Cet équipement comprend également un microprocesseur (4) servant à surveiller et commander les différentes fonctions des instruments. Pour un de ces instruments dynamiques ou manches d'instruments au moins, une mémoire opérationnelle (6) associée au microprocesseur (4) contient des paramètres opérationnels concernant au moins deux caractéristiques de modulation de commandes liées à une ou plusieurs fonctions enclenchées, ce qui permet d'utiliser cette ou ces fonctions grâce à l'élément de commande mobile (8). Un afficheur, qui affiche le choix de ces caractéristiques de commande, peut être en outre associé au microprocesseur (4) à titre d'interface d'utilisateur.
