Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for bridging expansion joints, in particular in bridges, roadways or the like, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a device in which the shape of the cavities in the Bracket shots from an open towards the joint, otherwise in cross section essentially rectangular recording.
- the middle section and the side of it molded profile areas to be inserted into the holder receptacles are from consistently of the same thickness, with projecting on their undersides spherical segment-shaped thickenings are formed. These are when the corresponding profile area deformed in the holder receptacle, thereby a Tension occurs in the profile area inserted into the holder receptacle.
- there also epoxy resin in the remaining gaps of the mounting bracket as additional fastening and seal introduced.
- bridging devices are those in the holder receptacles trained cavities provided with more complicated cross-sectional shapes, wherein the associated end regions of the sealing profile strips suitably complementary shapes have, with which they are introduced into the cavities, this under the formation of a fill in a suitable elastic pre-tension essentially completely while doing so corresponding protrusions of the holder receptacles attached to the support surfaces reach behind so that the desired bracket ensures in the bracket receptacles is (see. DE-C-18 007 775, DE-C-30 47 904, DE-U-85 26 630).
- edge sections of the Middle profile in the cavities of the side mount receptacles by there additionally clamped or bracket elements to be inserted clamped (DE-C-21 24 966, DE-C-40 26 515, DE-U-88 16 534), the arrangements used for this, however are complicated in structure and / or difficult and expensive to assemble.
- the invention has for its object a device for Bridging expansion joints that are particularly quick and easy and only by the top can be assembled and disassembled.
- the device according to the invention allows simple and particularly quick assembly of the edges of the sealing profile strip in the associated cavities Bracket recordings, the assembly only from the top of the joint can be made.
- the lateral bead as far down on the joint side
- the opening of the cavity is pushed into the side of the cavity until the V-shaped recess is open its underside on the formed edge of the holder receptacle formed there sits positively.
- the insertion takes place up to a position of the bead section above the bead in such a way that it in any case above the bead in the area in which its depression is arranged, wherein when inserting either the desired tension between at the same time Bead section and bead through the top and bottom of the cavity through a correspondingly suitable shape of the facing surfaces of the bead and bead portion is built up or between bead and bead portion then insert a wedge element until the desired one Wedge effect is reached.
- the Bead section around the corresponding bead opens up the possibility that of above both the bead and (subsequently) the bead section laterally in the Cavity of the holder receptacle can be inserted without this Handling from the bottom of the seal would be required.
- the sealing profile can be viewed from above at any time, in the reverse order of assembly, again without difficulty and quickly from its inclusion in the assigned cavity remove. Nevertheless, an excellent mounting of the Sealing profile strip reached in the cavities of the mounting receptacles.
- shape edge here a shape corresponding to the total protruding into the recess on the underside of the bead Projection, that is to say a shape which projects upwards in a V-shaped cross section, should be understood.
- a suitable Shape of the web connecting the bead to the bead section is ensured be that when the correct bending position of the bead portion is reached Push in the web in the direction of insertion against the stop in this Direction of the existing, opposite the joint opening boundary surface of the Cavity comes up, so that reaching the correct position of the bead portion above the bead is thereby positively ensured.
- the same effect can, however can also be achieved by attaching suitable stops to this web.
- the cross section is the bead is provided with a substantially flat upper surface, which is in the installed position is approximately parallel to the flat surface of the top of the cavity, further the associated bead portion also substantially flat top and bottom sides has and opposite the bead portion via an inserted between them Wedge element which has a wedge cross section converging away from the joint, at least in one the lateral extension area of the mold edge on both sides spanning area is wedged.
- the lateral insertion of bead and Bead section in the associated cavity and the subsequent lateral insertion of the Wedge element between these can be very quickly from the top of the joint is uncomplicated and can later be carried out at any time without difficulty from the The top of the joint can be undone. Nevertheless, this wedging becomes a secure wedge seat of the corresponding edge of the sealing profile in the opening of the Bracket holder reached and especially in the area of positive engagement the mold edge with the recess a full contact under tension over the created throughout the area of intervention.
- the wedge element can either be a continuous elongated wedge strip or in Shape of individual, staggered in the longitudinal direction of the joint at suitable distances individual wedge links can be formed.
- a particularly good wedging effect can be achieved in that the top and the Bottom of the bead portion converge toward its free end so that the insertion of the wedge element in cooperation with the wedge formation of the Bead section allows a particularly rapid build-up of the bias.
- the wedge element can be made of any suitable rigid or elastic material consist, but is, very particularly preferably, made of an elastomeric material that preferably has a Shore (A) hardness value which is about 10 ° higher than that of the elastic material of the sealing profile strip. This level of hardness in Connection with the use of an elastic material for both Sealing profile strips, as for the wedge element, result in a particularly firm one Wedge seat.
- the top and bottom of the bead portion in Cross section in Direction to its free end, i.e. when installed: towards the joint, diverge, the bead portion in the installed state with an end portion of its Underside directly on top of the bead, and with the bead on her Top at least in the area of their contact with the bead section to incline the underside of the bead portion has a complementarily inclined surface.
- Embodiment of the device according to the invention are the bead portion and the Bead clamped directly against each other without the interposition of a wedge element, if the bead section (after previously attaching the bead with its recess on the Form edge) is pushed laterally into the cavity of the holder holder: by this insertion is the bottom of the Bead section in contact with the top of the bead rising away from the joint brought and with further insertion by wedge action both against each other and against braced the top or the lower boundary surface of the cavity.
- the intermediate web via which the bead section is molded onto the bead, is preferred, formed so that its cross-sectional thickness is significantly less than that of the bead, so that it can be easily bent upwards around the bead section over the bead to bend back.
- the formation of this intermediate web can also be done so that it due to its shape when bending the bead section a stop in Direction of insertion of the edge of the sealing profile strip into the opening of the Bracket mount forms into it.
- Cavity-forming mounting receptacles made of welded together, in Cross-section each consist of rectangular bar steel profiles. This construction enables a particularly inexpensive manufacture of the cavities in the holder receptacles only with rectangular bar profiles.
- the cavities in each case as Edge or middle or intermediate slats formed slats one Joint transition construction are attached to the lamella head at a distance the joint - side end (in the case of an edge lamella) or in the middle (in the case of a Intermediate lamella) attached a vertical web running downwards, on which in a The distance from the slat head is offset downwards towards the joint rising bar profile is attached, which in connection with the The vertical bar and the lamella head each have the holder receptacle open towards the joint trains.
- the invention also relates to a sealing profile strip made of elastic Material as used for such a device according to the invention can be used according to the preamble of claim 14.
- a sealing profile strip is approximately from FIG DE-C-28 08 386 known.
- this sealing profile strip corresponding to the characterizing part of claim 14 trained.
