Abstract

Anordnung zur Überwachung der Funktion eines Tintendruckkopfes. Es wird eine Erhöhung der Funktionssicherheit durch Erhöhung der Überwachungsgenauigkeit bei gesenktem Aufwand angestrebt. Aufgabengemäß soll eine ständige Überwachung durch Auswertung des Druckbildes erfolgen, wobei die Helligkeit des Aufzeichungsträgers ohne Einfluß auf die Überwachungsgenauigkeit sein soll.
Erfindungsgemäß ist nach dem Tintendruckkopf 1 ein Abtastkopf 2 mit mindestens zwei Schleifelektroden 21 einerseits auf den Aufzeichnungsträger 4 aufgesetzt und andererseits mit einer Auswerteschaltung 3 verbunden, die wiederum ausgangseitig mit der Ansteuerschaltung 5 für den Tintendruckkopf 1 verbunden ist.
In der Auswerteschaltung 3 werden die Änderungen der elektrischen Eigenschaften des Aufzeichnungsträgers 4 zwischen den Schleifelektroden erfaßt.
Die Anordnung ist sowohl für Tintendruckköpfe nach dem Bubble-Jet-Prinzip als auch für Tintendruckköpfe mit Piezoaktoren geeignet.
