Abstract

On soumet une poudre d'un alliage métallique renfermant principalement l'un au moins des éléments fer et nickel ainsi que du chrome, à une compression isostatique à haute température, la pression, la température et la durée du traitement de compression isostatique étant définies pour obtenir un matériau homogène et isotrope à grains fins sensiblement exempt de fissures et de défauts volumiques. De préférence, l'alliage métallique est sensiblement exempt de cobalt. Le procédé peut être utilisé en particulier pour réaliser un revêtement antiusure sur une pièce métallique. Le procédé s'applique à la fabrication ou au revêtement de pièces de frottement utilisées dans une centrale nucléaire.
