Abstract

L'invention concerne un broyeur à rouleaux comprenant une auge de broyage (2), des rouleaux broyeurs (6) entraînés en rotation sur cette auge, ainsi que des dispositifs de retenue (10) destinés à influer sur le déplacement du matériau broyé entre lesdits rouleaux. En vue d'accroître la capacité de production d'un broyeur à rouleaux tout en ayant des frais d'investissement avantageux, il est prévu des dispositifs de retenue (10) efficaces et résistant à l'usure entre les rouleaux broyeurs (6), chacun d'eux étant réalisé sous la forme d'une paroi de retenue rotative composée d'un ou de plusieurs rouleaux de retenue (10). Ces derniers présentent des surfaces de retenue (12, 15) qui empêchent le déplacement du matériau broyé vers l'extérieur, ce qui permet de le retenir en vue d'assurer un broyage complémentaire. Suivant une première forme d'exécution, une surface de retenue (12) est réalisée sur la face avant intérieure d'un rouleau de retenue. Selon une variante d'exécution, des bagues de retenue (17) en saillie radiale présentent des surfaces de retenue supplémentaires (15).
