Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de faire varier l'épaisseur d'articles produits par immersion, vulcanisés à paroi mince, en particulier des gants pour opération et examen. Les articles produits par immersion sont obtenus par application, sur un moule à immerger, d'un film de revêtement, par immersion dans un bain de coagulant-latex, et par vulcanisation dudit film de revêtement. Selon l'invention, une couche de coagulant additionnelle est appliquée sur le moule à immerger par pulvérisation ou enduction, dans la zone où l'on veut que l'épaisseur de la paroi soit plus grande ou bien pour obtenir une épaisseur de paroi régulière. A cet effet, la couche de coagulant additionnelle est appliquée sur le moule à immerger pendant son retrait du bain d'immersion ou juste après celui-ci. La concentration de coagulant dans la couche additionnelle est égale ou supérieure à celle du coagulant dans le bain d'immersion utilisé pour former le film de revêtement de base.
