Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'identification de véhicules par marquage d'éléments constitutifs majeurs, en particulier des vitres, dont le but est notamment de faciliter une identification rapide d'automobiles volées. Avec les modes de marquage connus, on ne pouvait exclure le risque d'erreurs lors de la saisie manuelle de quantités importantes de chiffres, comme lors de contrôles aux frontières. L'invention permet de pallier ce genre d'inconvénient dans la mesure où un marquage de ce type s'effectue partiellement ou complètement sous forme de code à barres pouvant être lu par une machine, détecté rapidement par des lecteurs appropriés lors de contrôles de véhicules, et évalué dans des ordinateurs.
