Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Falzdichtungsprofil für Fensterflügel, aufweisend einen Dichtungsrücken aus hartem Kautschukmaterial mit daran ausgebildeter Nutabdecklippe und Fußzacken und aufweisend einen geschlossenen Dichtungskopf aus weichem Kautschukmaterial mit geschlossenen Poren.
- Bei derartigen bekannten Flügelfalzdichtungen ist der eigentliche Dichtungskörper oder Dichtungskopf im wesentlichem mit einem im Querschnitt viereckigen balgartigen Körper ausgebildet, wobei zwischen der eigentlichen Dichtungsfläche und den Seitenwänden relativ kleine Abrundungsradien vorhanden sind. Man ging bei bekannten Dichtungen davon aus, daß eine relativ große Dichtfläche zur Abdichtung am Blendrahmen zur Verfügung gestellt werden muß. Eine derartige Ausbildung erbringt jedoch den Nachteil, daß beim Abdichten der Ecken des Flügels, nachdem zuvor ein dreieckförmiger Teil aus dem Profil mit einem geeigneten Werkzeug herausgeschnitten wird, im Eckbereich zwei unerwünschte Wölbungen der eigentlichen Dichtfläche zur Gegenfläche am Blendrahmen hin entstehen. Dadurch kann es zu Undichtigkeiten an dieser Stelle kommen, in jedem Fall wird die Wirkung der Dichtung in diesem Bereich beeinträchtigt.
- Bei der Erfindung ist erkannt worden, daß diese unerwünschten Auswölbungen eine Folge einer zu großen Dichtfläche bzw. auf die Ausgestaltung des Dichtkörpers von im wesentlichen viereckiger Form im Querschnitt zurückzuführen ist.
- Erfindungsgemäß wird daher eine Flügelfalzdichtung der eingangs genannten Art dadurch verbessert, daß der Dichtungskopf im wesentlichen gewölbeartig ausgebildet ist und die Dichtzone bzw. die Andruckfläche aus einem schmalen zur Gegendruckfläche am Blendrahmen parallelen Fläche gebildet ist, die beidseitig über relativ große Abrundungsradien in die Seitenwandteile des Dichtungskopfes übergeht. Auf diese Art und Weise wird nämlich sichergestellt, daß auch in den Eckbereichen der Scheibe bzw. des Flügels eine durchgehende ebene Dichtfläche zur Verfügung steht und keine Auswulstungen beiseitig zur Schnittfläche bei der Ausbildung der Dichtung der Ecken entstehen.
- Die Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand der Zeichnung beispielsweise erläutert.
- Die einzige Figur der Zeichnung zeigt eine Querschnittsansicht durch eine Falzdichtung gemäß der Erfindung.
- In der Figur ist mit 10 der Dichtungsrücken bezeichnet, der im mittleren Bereich mit einer vorstehenden Nutabdecklippe 12 und im unteren Bereich mit einem Fußzacken 13 ausgebildet ist. Die vorgenannten Teile bestehen aus einem harten Vollmaterial vorzugsweise aus EPDM.
- Im oberen Bereich des Falzdichtungsprofils ist mit 11 allgemein der Dichtungskopf bezeichnet. Dieser beginnt zunächst einmal am oberen Begrenzungsrand des Rückens 10 mit einem im wesentlichen senkrecht vorstehenden Seitenteil 16. Danach folgt ein Übergangsbereich 15 zu dem eigentlichen Dichtungsbereich 14, danach wiederum ein Übergangsbereich 15 und ein zum Dichtrücken 10 rücklaufender Seitenteil 16. Die vorgenannten Teile 14 bis 16 des Dichtkopfes 11 bestehen aus einem weichen Kautschukmaterial mit geschlossenen Poren.
- Gemäß der Erfindung ist nun der geradlinige Bereich 14, der parallel zur Gegendichtfläche an der nicht gezeigten Wange zum Anliegen kommt, relativ klein ausgebildet, wohingegen die Übergangsbereiche 15 relativ große Abrundungsradien haben. Dies steht im Gegensatz zu bisher bekannten Ausbildungen von Flügelfalzdichtungen.
- Ohne Einschränkung sei darauf hingewiesen, daß die Erstreckung der Fläche 14 im Bereich von 1 mm liegt, wohingegen die Abrundungsradien ebenfalls diese Größenordnung haben.
Claims (1)
- Falzdichtungsprofil für Fensterflügel, aufweisend einen Dichtungsrücken aus hartem Kautschukmaterial mit daran ausgebildeter Nutabdecklippe und Fußzacken und aufweisend einen geschlossenen Dichtungskopf aus weichem Kautschukmaterial mit geschlossenen Poren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dichtungskopf (11) im wesentlichen gewölbeartig ausgebildet ist und die Dichtzone bzw. die Andruckfläche aus einem schmalen zur Gegendruckfläche am Blendrahmen parallelen Fläche (14) gebildet ist, die beidseitig über relativ große Abrundungsradien in die Seienwandteile (16) des Dichtungskopfes übergeht (15).
