Abstract

The luminaire to be recessed into a circular opening in the ceiling has a strip (11) with an axial slot (17). The fixture is based on an elastic strip (1) with a number of transverse slots or projections (8) and at its upper extremity a hook (2) inclined at an angle (18). The hook is inserted into the slot in the luminaire while the lower end of the fixture is supported on points (5,6) by the false ceiling. A sliding clip (3) carrying a tab (14) which can engage in one of the transverse slots (or with one of the projections) has an opening (15) enabling it to be fitted around both strips (1,11).
