Definitions

  • the invention relates to a switching device for installation in a control cabinet, which Switchgear Cables for making electrical connections to the terminals a immediately adjacent arranged further switching device, which lines are arranged on a common carrier, wherein the carrier parallel to the Side surfaces of the switching device between a retracted and an extended Position is displaced.
  • a control cabinet usually has a plurality of spaced apart one another Rails on which rails the various switching devices are fixed and then be electrically connected together.
  • a fault current module has become known which has a relation on the installation position in a cabinet horizontally extending rigid bracket, in which bracket for making electrical connections to a neighboring arranged LS-switch necessary lines are performed.
  • the ends of the wires are from the bracket protruding in the manner that they, if LS switch and FI module are arranged on a mounting rail next to each other, in the Intervene terminals of the circuit breaker.
  • DE-U-78 13 854 also describes a RCCB connected to one beside it arranged circuit breaker can be coupled.
  • the between the two Circuit breakers necessary electrical connection lines (here as "transverse lines” are designated) in a separate from both switches contact strip accommodated.
  • this contact strip can be connected to the terminals of the LS Tongues and on the other hand male connectors, which in corresponding sockets of the residual current circuit breaker are pluggable.
  • a design possibility of a switching device of the above specify a type in which a restriction on the freedom of movement of adjacent arranged switching device avoided by the electrical connection lines becomes.
  • each of the lines is movable by itself and the carrier is slidably mounted in the switching device.
  • the lines can be from the Terminals of the adjacent switching device removed and thereby the mechanical Connection of the two switching devices without any movement of the provided with the lines Switching device itself be solved. After usual terminals are designed so that insert the wires to be inserted in the direction parallel to the side walls are, in such a training, each standard designed neighbor switching device be wired.
  • the carrier has a first straight, parallel to the Side surfaces of the switching device extending portion, which portion inside of the switching device runs and at one end by a switching device transverse wall passed through.
  • the carrier is a through the switching device transverse wall through reaching end of the first section defined in essentially normal to this, entirely outside the switching device extending second Section, which with the terminals of the adjacent switching device carries connectable cable ends.
  • the lines are particularly well connected mechanically, their introduction simplified in the terminals of the adjacent switching device thereby.
  • Another feature of the invention may be that the parallel to the side surfaces of the Switching device extending support section at its through the switching device transverse wall Having projecting end having a resiliently held approach, which in the extended position of the carrier attaches to an edge of the switching device transverse wall.
  • the carrier is formed by a flat plate, on whose Surfaces the lines are fixed because this design is particularly simple can be produced.
  • the plate at each with lines equipped surface substantially normal to these surfaces extending walls having.
  • the second, outside the Wennös extending support section rail-shaped, preferably in the essentially over the entire length of the second carrier section extending approaches has, in which a lines covering the cover is positively fixed.
  • the lines can be enclosed on all sides and electrical to their environment be isolated.
  • the lid has a nose in the region of its side edge adjacent to the switching device, which nose in the retracted position of the carrier in a corresponding recess of the switching device transverse wall intervenes.
  • the lid is thus in the retracted position of the wearer against horizontal Shifts secured so that it can not be solved by the support plate. Measures for permanently closing the lid, e.g. Bonding with it not required.
  • peg-shaped projections are formed, which in the attracted state in corresponding mirror image in the side wall of the adjacent further switching device engage holes drilled, because so that the adjacent switching device in more precise Alignment can be applied to the side wall.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a circuit breaker, the one Switching device of the type described so far, has both FI and LS function, compact and easy to wire.
  • this is achieved in that the switching device by a fault current module comprising a switching mechanism, a summation current transformer and a switching mechanism actuating circuit of the summation current transformer is formed, that the adjacent Switching device is formed by a circuit breaker, and that the switching mechanism of Fault current modules with a through the sidewalls of fault current module and Circuit breaker is provided by cross-trigger finger, through which the Switching mechanism of the adjacent arranged circuit breaker is actuated.
  • a switching device 1 for cabinets, with a further immediately adjacent arranged switching device 4 electrically connected is to be provided with corresponding lines 2 to their manual laying to avoid.
  • This mobility can be realized, for example, that the lines 2 to Axes 5 are arranged pivotably.
  • the lines 2 are preferred translationally displaceable, in particular parallel to the side walls 10,11 of the Switching device 1 slidably mounted.
  • the lines 2 could each be movable in their own right, that is, pivoting or slidably be set on the switching device 1, for the sake of easier handling However, it is convenient to set them jointly movable on the switching device 1. To be favoured the lines 2 mechanically connected to each other, whereby the joint mobility is automatically given.
  • the pivotable mounting shown in Fig.1 Lines 2 would then summarized the axes 5 to a common axis or at least all axes 5 are arranged in alignment with each other.
  • the switching device 1 is designed here as a fault current module, which itself no Switch contacts but only the fault current detection circuit with associated Has switching mechanism.
  • the fault current detection circuit is a switching mechanism, a summation current transformer 17 and a circuit-actuating circuit of the Summation current transformer 17 is formed. For the sake of clarity, it is in Fig.2 only the summation current transformer 17 is shown.
  • the adjacent switching device 4 is a Circuit breaker.
  • the switching mechanism of the fault current module has a trigger finger 15, which Trigger finger 15 through the side wall 11 of the Whystrommodules and through the Lateral side wall 40 of the circuit breaker protrudes and the switching mechanism of the Can operate circuit breaker (see Figure 8). This will be the switching contacts of the circuit breaker both for shutdown in case of line overload as well as on the occurrence used by a fault current.
  • the invention is by no means limited to this embodiment variant, but it can be transferred to any class of devices that can be installed in control cabinets. Examples of this are: LS-switch with adjacently arranged FI-switch; LS switch with adjacent arranged impulse switch, stairwell automaton etc.
  • a support 6 is provided, on which the lines 2 are arranged.
  • the carrier 6 is parallel to the side surfaces 10,11 of the switching device. 1 between a retracted and an extended position displaceable in the switching device. 1 stored.
  • this carrier 6 is parallel to the side surfaces 10,11 extending section 60.
  • This section 60 is similar to a drawer within the Switching device 1 slidably guided and extends with one end 61 by one of Switchgear transverse walls 12,13 therethrough.
  • Embodiment was chosen to the lower transverse wall 12, it would be completely equivalent however, to perform the carrier portion 60 through the upper transverse wall 13.
  • a second portion 62 substantially normal to this portion 60 established. This is completely outside of the switching device 1 and carries the cable ends 20. These are distributed on the support portion 62 so that they move during movement of the carrier. 6 in the direction of arrow 8 in the terminals 3 of an immediately adjacent, ie to the Side wall 11 applied arranged further switching device 4 extend.
  • the first Carrier portion 60 further points at its protruding through the transverse wall 12 end 61 a spring-held projection 63 on.
  • This approach 63 is in the retracted position of the carrier 6 in the interior of the switching device 1, protrudes in the extended carrier position just beyond the transverse wall 12 also and can with it attach the edge 64 of the transverse wall 12 (see also Fig.4).
  • the carrier 6 is characterized in his extended position lockable.
  • the carrier 6 is formed by a flat plate 65, on whose surfaces the lines 2 are fixed. (For the sake of clarity, only one of the lines 2 is shown in FIG ) Located. According to the embodiment shown in the drawings doing all lines 2 on one and the same surface of the plate 65, namely on the the further switching device 4 facing away from the surface 65 of the plate. It is in the sense However, the invention is also quite possible, the lines 2 on both surfaces of the To distribute plate 65, e.g. with the same plate dimensions lines 2 larger Cross-section accommodate, or the lines 2 on the other switching device. 4 to arrange the opposite surface of the plate 65.
  • the lines 2 are sufficiently isolated from each other. This could be realized, for example, that the lines 2 with a Insulating material, e.g. Be poured around plastic.
  • plate 65 on each equipped with 2 lines Surface having substantially normal to these surfaces extending walls 66th equip. This creates individual chambers in which the lines 2 -vonrage isolated.
  • Extensions 73 arranged on the inside of the lid 7 are extending in the direction of the carrier plate 65 Extensions 73 arranged. As can be seen in Figure 6, these extensions 73 are with such Height formed that they are supported on the lines 2 and this between Clamp carrier plate 65 and cover 7.
  • the cover 7 In the area of its side edge 72 adjacent to the switching device 1, the cover 7 has a Nose 74, which nose 74 in the retracted position of the carrier 6 in a corresponding recess of the switching device transverse wall 12 engages (see Fig. Figure 7).
  • the fault current module 1 is on the Control cabinet rail set (snapped) and the carrier 6 in its extended Position brought.
  • the circuit breaker 4 is also on the rail -in small horizontal distance from the fault current module arranged ( Figure 8).
  • the two switching devices 1.4 are now pushed towards each other until the lugs 16 in the corresponding Holes and the trigger finger 15 engages in the corresponding socket and the Switchgear 1.4 with their side surfaces 11,40 together (Fig.9).
  • the carrier 6 is brought into its retracted position, the line ends 20 thus pushed into the terminals 3 of the circuit breaker 4 and the electrical connections made by tightening the terminals 3 (Fig.10).
