Definitions

  • the invention relates to a saddle frame for bicycle saddles, in particular sports saddles, with a fastening part that is adjustable relative to a seat tube.
  • the design according to the invention essentially consists in the fact that the saddle frame has at least two separate devices for adjusting the height in the front and in the rear area of the saddle. Because at least two separate devices are provided for adjusting the height in the front and in the rear area of the saddle, a targeted adjustment can be achieved in a particularly simple manner and generally much more quickly. In principle, one of these two devices for adjusting the height could make the saddle known to pivot his.
  • the height-adjustable devices can be designed as supports or bolts with spring and / or damping elements, such supports or bolts being arranged in the front and in the rear area of the saddle in order to ensure a corresponding fine adjustment .
  • the fastening part which is adjustable relative to the seat tube
  • the fastening part is designed as a slide which is displaceable transversely to the axis of the seat tube in the longitudinal direction of the seat.
  • Such an additional displacement relative to the saddle allows the optimum position relative to the handlebar to be set and the inclination of the saddle to be adjusted to achieve the best comfort in such an optimal position.
  • the subjective distance from the handlebar was simultaneously adjusted by a corresponding inclination of the saddle about an axis running transversely to the axis of the saddle tube, which of course could not simultaneously lead to an improvement in the comfort of the saddle. It is only by separating the two function adjustments relative to the handlebar and adjusting the saddle in the position correctly adjusted to the handlebar that it is possible to significantly improve the comfort of the saddle.
  • the inventive design is such that the height adjustable.

  • the linear guide here is designed as a groove 12 running in the longitudinal direction of the support surface 2, in which a slide can be displaced.
  • the carriage is again designated 6. When the eccentric is fully open, the slide can be displaced, and with the setting of the desired altitude, a non-positive locking against a further displacement of the slide can take place at the same time.
  • the height adjustment is effected by a wedge surface of a disc 13, which is about an axis

  • two separate devices for height adjustment are arranged in the front and in the rear area of the saddle.
  • a separate arrangement of devices for adjusting the height in the front and in the rear region of the saddle permits the desired exact adjustment in any position of the saddle relative to the seat tube or relative to a handlebar.
