Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Preßvorrichtung zur Behandlung einer Materialbahn (7), insbesondere einer Papierbahn, mit einer Schuhpreßwalze, die einen flexiblen, schlauchförmigen Preßmantel (6) aufweist, der an seinen axialen Enden mit drehbar gelagerten Spannscheiben (13,14) verbunden ist und über eine Preßschuhanordnung (4) unter Ausbildung eines Preßspaltes gegen ein Gegenelement (16) preßbar ist, wobei die Preßschuhanordnung (4) auf einem den Preßmantel axial durchsetzenden und die Spannscheibenlager tragenden Träger (1) abgestützt ist und die Spannscheiben im unbelasteten Zustand der Schuhpreßwalze gegensinnig geneigt angeordnet sind und eine sich in Richtung des Preßspaltes erweiternde Preßmantelhalterung bilden.
