Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Tauchausguß zum Ausgießen von flüssigem Metall, insbesondere Stahl aus einem Ausgießbehälter in eine Kokille einer Stranggießanlage, mit einem im wesentlichen rohrförmigen am Ausgießbehälter befestigbaren Oberteil und einem mündungsseitig im Vergleich zur Schmalseite eine deutlich größere Breitseite aufweisendes Unterteil.Erfindungsgemäß weist das Oberteil (11) am dem Unterteil (21) zugewandten Ende eine den Eingangsbereich des Unterteils (21) umgreifende Aufweitung (12) auf, daß zwischen dem Eingangsbereich des Unterteils (21) und dem Oberteil (11) eine Dichtung (31) vorgesehen ist. Ferner besitzt das Unterteil (21) in seinem Eingangsbereich eine Abstützung (40) und an der Abstützung (40) des Unterteils (21) greifen Halteelemente (50) an, über die das Unterteil (21) mit dem Oberteil (11) verbindbar ist.
