Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Leuchtmittelsockel (30) sowie ein Verfahren zum Fixieren und Kontaktieren wenigstens eines Leuchtmittels mit wenigstens einem solchen Sockel.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Sockel (10-13) verfügbar zu machen, der kostengünstig herstellbar ist, ohne großen Aufwand vom Kunden selbst montiert werden kann und der in der Lage ist, herstellungsbedingte Ungenauigkeiten im Endbereich eines Leuchtmittels zu kompensieren.
Dieses technische Problem löst die Erfindung dadurch, daß der Sockel (10-13) wenigstens eine Kappe (20-23) zur Aufnahme eines vorbestimmten, einen Anschlußkontakt (70) aufweisenden Teils des Leuchtmittels (30) aufweist, wobei die Kappe (20-23) derart bemessen ist, daß das Leuchtmittel (30) positionierbar ist. Ferner weist der Sockel (10-13) wenigstens eine, wenigstens teilweise durch den Sockel (10-13) verlaufende Kammer (50) zur Aufnahme eines Kontaktelements (60), insbesondere eines Kontaktstiftes auf. Das Kontaktelement (60) ist derart ausgebildet ist, daß es im eingesetzten Zustand mit dem Anschlußkontakt (70) eine elektrisch leitende Preßverbindung bildet.
