  • Such a tool is for example from US-A-5275339 known.
  • a similar tool is also for example from WO-94/14354-A1 known.
  • Such tools are designed for a flow of air Device of a user's personal needs put on and then through this user's hairstyle to be brought so close to her head that at least some of the hair capture elements essentially come into contact with the scalp of the user, whereupon the tool is moved in the hair to close the hair drying, bringing about the level and volume of the hairstyle, or to comb longer hair dry.
  • the object of the invention is therefore a tool Provide the type mentioned, in which it is the Device handling user is possible, the usable or effective length of the hair detection elements to the respective Adapt the way the tool is used.
  • the tool are front parts of an air outlet element and a carrier body longitudinally displaceable by the user relative to each other.
  • the mechanism in question comprises two functional parts and sets a rotary motion of one of the functional parts into an axial longitudinal displacement of the other.
