Abstract

Der Fehlerstrom-Schutzschalter weist ein mindestens einen Fehlerstromsensor (1, 2) und mindestens einen Auslöser (3, 4) enthaltendes Auslösesystem auf sowie eine in einem fehlerstromführenden Stromkreis (N, R) angeordnete Kontaktanordnung (7) und ein vom Auslösesystem auslösbares und auf die Kontaktanordnung (7) wirkendes Antriebssystem. Bei diesem Schalter wird die Redundanz dadurch erhöht, dass das Auslösesystem ein Primärauslösesystem und mindestens ein unabhängig davon arbeitendes Sekundärauslösesystem enthält und/oder das Antriebssystem zwei unabhängig voneinander arbeitende Schaltschlösser aufweist. Eine besonders grosse Zuverlässigkeit wird erreicht, wenn das Primärauslösesystem nach einer anderen Technologie ausgebildet ist als Sekundärauslösesystem und beispielsweise einen Magnetauslöser (3), das Sekundärauslösesystem hingegen beispielsweise einen elektronisch wirkenden Auslöser (4) enthält.
