the longitudinal side of the strip 8, adjacent to the edge 4 of the cover on which the flap 5 is articulated is left free for insertion of the indexing strip 7.
the insertion of the indexing strip 7 is carried out easily after the flap 5 has been unfolded, as shown in the figure 2.
the sorter 1 is shown open, the part front of cover 2 having been opened by pivoting on its edge 3, and the flap 5 having been unfolded by pivoting on the edge 4 of the blanket.
On the large right side are the indexes 9, each corresponding to a compartment of the sorter 1, and to a window 6 placed next to the index. So when sorter 1 is open and the flap 5 unfolded, each window 6 is located opposite an index 9 and in each window 6 is read the indication of the content of the compartment corresponding to the index.
the flap 5 can be placed on the front part cover 2 and hinged on its left edge 4, as shown, or it can be placed under the back of the cover and hinged on the edge near the indexes 9.
the sorter 1 is indexed on its short side, that is, the indexes 10 are placed at the top, near the short side 11 from the back of the cover.
the flap 12 is articulated on the small side 11, and each window 13 is located opposite an index 10.
the flap 12 is folded behind the rear part of the cover when the sorter is not used.
