Abstract

Bei einer Markise, insbesondere Gelenkarmmarkise, umfassend eine Wickelwelle zum Aufwickeln eines Markisentuches unter Ausbildung eines Tuchwickels und Einrichtungen zum Ausfahren des Markisentuches, wie beispielsweise Gelenkarme, ist zur Erzielung eines konstruktiv einfachen und gleichwohl wirksamen Schutzes des Tuchwickels vorgesehen, daß in dem in Ausfahrrichtung gesehen vorderen Bereiches des Markisentuches (13) eine mit diesem aufwickelbare, elastische Abdeckung (15) derart vorgesehen ist, daß bei eingefahrener Markise und dementsprechend aufgewickeltem Markisentuch (13) die Abdeckung (15) wenigstens die Oberseite des Tuchwickels (16) abdeckt.
