Abstract

Es wird eine Leuchte angegeben, welche aus Einzelelementen in Form eines Baukastensystems zusammengesetzt werden kann. Die Leuchte hat einen Leuchtengrundkörper (2), welcher vier beabstandete und in Längsrichtung verlaufende Profilelemente (3) in Ecken des Leuchtengrundkörpers (2) und stirnseitige Querelemente (10) umfaßt, welche in Ausnehmungen der Profilelemente (3) angeordnet sind, die als Längsnuten (6) ausgestaltet sind. Die Längsnuten (6) sind an im Querschnitt einander zugewandten Bereichen vorgesehen. Das Querelement (10) weist zwei parallele, in Längsrichtung verlaufende Seitenflächen (11) auf, die über eine senkrecht zu der Längsachse der Profilelemente (3) verlaufende Querseite (12) verbunden sind. Die Längskanten der Seitenflächen (11) greifen wenigstens teilweise in die Längsnuten (6) der Profilelemente (3) zur Bildung eines einheitlichen Leuchtengrundkörpers ein. Wenigstens eines der Querelemente (10) kann auch Aufnahmen für Leuchtmittel tragen, so daß es als Stromversorgungs- und Verteilereinrichtung für die Leuchte dient. Außenseitig können die Profilelemente (3) etwa im Mittelbereich ihrer Außenkontur mit einer Längsausnehmung (4) versehen sein, um Verkleidungs-, Zier- oder Designelemente (17) lösbar aufzunehmen. Die zwischen den Profilelementen (3) in den Ecken des Leuchtengrundkörpers (2) vorgesehenen freien Bereiche können als zusätzliche Lichtaustrittsöffnungen genutzt werden und können beispielsweise Abdeckungen (23) aufnehmen, so daß die Leuchte auch als Hinweisleuchte eingesetzt werden kann.
