Abstract

Beschrieben werden ein Adapter (2), eine Stromschiene (1) und eine Stromschienen-Kupplungsvorrichtung zur Speisung von Leuchten, wobei die Stromschiene (1) zwei miteinander über eine Isolierung verbundene Metallprofile (3, 4) als Stromleiter aufweist, und wobei der Adapter (2) zwei voneinander isolierte Kontaktelemente (28, 19) aufweist, die zur Stromleitung mit den Metallprofilen (3, 4) in Kontakt bringbar sind; ein metallisches Gehäuse (7) weist eine mit einem Isolierteil (10) ausgekleidete Ausnehmung (9) zur Aufnahme der Stromschiene (1) auf; die beidseitig durch die Ausnehmung (9) gebildeten Schenkel (25, 26) des Gehäuses (7) sind an ihren Enden mit einem metallischen Abschlußteil (28) verbunden, der die Ausnehmung (9) überbrückt und in Kontakt mit dem einen Metallprofil (3) bringbar ist, wogegen das andere Metallprofil (4) in Kontakt mit einem innerhalb des Isolierteiles (10) angeordneten Kontaktkörper (19) bringbar ist, der mit einem isolierend aus dem Gehäuse (7) herausgeführten Stromleiter (21) verbunden ist.
