Definitions
- the subject of the invention is a device for launching targets for the practice of shooting with firearms.
- the invention applies in particular to launch targets of the "rabbit" type. These targets are not intended to be launched into the air to be aimed and hit in mid-flight, but they are intended to roll on the ground to be hit in their run on the ground.
- these targets or clay pigeons for "rabbit” are perfectly circular and have a large periphery acting as a rim which allows good rolling.
- the launching apparatus prints targets with a rapid rotational movement around their axis.
- the launching device launches targets or "rabbit" by rolling them.
- targets or "rabbit" by rolling them.
- the doubling is growing more and more. It involves shooting two successive rifles at two targets.
- the invention tends to solve all these problems.
- the launcher apparatus according to the invention can launch a double with a single launcher, and a single engine, each launch arm is independent.
- the apparatus is remarkable, in particular in that it comprises a flexible vertical wheel mounted in rotation above a launching ramp in which the targets are brought vertically one by one. Upstream of the wheel are mounted two retaining members which house the targets in the ramp.
- the purpose of these controlled action retaining members is, on the one hand, to retain the targets in the ramp upstream of the wheel and, on the other hand, to push the targets one by one towards the wheel.
- the wheel grabs the targets one by one and launches them at ground level, giving them a rapid rotational movement around their axis.
- the apparatus according to the invention is mainly intended to launch targets of the "rabbit" type.
- - US 3, 246, 642 in an animated mechanism of the target, in combination with a disc-shaped target, said mechanism is characterized by launching the target straight in a predetermined horizontal direction, in order to continuously roll along from the environment of the target, said launch is characterized by the impression of a translational movement up to the target and characterized by said translational movement in order to communicate a rotation of the target on its axis with a peripheral velocity at less substantially equal to its translation speed, said launch is characterized by the target rolling along the ramp while the target presses on said ramp being in the shape of a curve, freely receiving and guiding the target by having a lower part conforming to the periphery of the target.
- the depth of the curve is adjustable for the reception of discs of different sizes.
- the launcher device is of the type using a motor, a geared motor, an arming arm, an ejection spring, an ejection arm, it is characterized in that it comprises a motor, a reduction gear which drives, by a pendulum movement, a cocking rod secured to one or more cocking plates, each cocking plate acts, by a cocking trigger, on an ejection arm by bandaging the spring d 'ejection, a locking lug controlled by an electromagnetic box releases or blocks each ejection arm in order to control the triggering of the shot.
- Each ejection arm has its axis of rotation coaxial with the axis of rotation of the cocking rod secured to the reducer.
- the motor is arranged vertically with, in its extension, the reducer, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said reducer, a cocking rod comes from each side of said reducer each secured to a plate of armament, animated by the same pendulum movement of approximately 180 ".
- Each arming plate is equipped with an arming trigger, mounted on a hinge pin provided with a return spring and a stop animated by the pendulum movement of the arming rod, the end of the trigger pushes the cocking finger of the ejection arm to rotate it by bandaging the ejection spring and this, until said finger exceeds the axis of rotation of the ejection arm, a lug of blocking blocks the ejection arm in this armed position.
- One of the two cocking rods is provided with an eccentric with a rod / crank device which actuates the supply of the targets by two chutes in the ejection arms.
- Each ejection arm has the shape of a U-shaped profile, the ends of the legs of the U of which are equipped with a return which allows the targets not to fall and to roll in the ejection arm until the ejection at the end opposite the articulation axis.
- the target supply chute comes out at the end of the ejection arm which is opposite the articulation axis of said ejection arm.
- the supply chute is inclined, its lower end is sloping so that the targets can exit from said supply chute and come into place in the profile which acts as a raceway for the ejection arm.
- the launcher according to the invention is provided with two cocking rods arranged on either side of the reduction gear, each rod, by its cocking plate and its pendular movement, ensures the arming of 'an ejection arm, each ejection arm is locked, once armed, by a locking lug.
- the triggering of the shot is therefore independent for each ejection arm.
- Figure 1 is a front view of the target launcher for the practice of firearm.
- Figure 2 is a side view of the launcher showing the ejection arm and the supply chute.
- Figure 3 is a side view of the launcher showing the ejection arm and the ejection spring and its anchor points.
- Figure 4 is a side view showing the motor, the reduction gear, the cocking rod, the cocking plate, the cocking trigger, the stop of the cocking trigger, the cocking finger of the ejection arm.
- Figures 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 schematically represent the kinematics of the arming plate, the arming trigger of the ejection arm, its stop and the arming finger which is integral with said arm ejection.
- the launcher shown in Figure 1 is made up of the following components.
- a motor 2 is arranged vertically in which and in the extension of which is placed a reducer 3.
- connecting rods 4 and 5 are driven by a pendulum movement. These connecting rods are secured, at their end, to an arming plate 6,7. Said arming plate is itself provided with an arming trigger 8.9. Said cocking trigger 8, 9 is equipped with a return spring not shown in the figures.
- a stop 12,13 allows the arming trigger 8,9 to come into abutment.
- Said cocking trigger 8, 9 is mounted mobile around an axis 31.
- Said cocking trigger 8, 9 in the pendulum movement, animated by cocking rods 4.5, can come into contact with a cocking finger 30 disposed opposite and belonging to the ejection arm 18, 19 (see Figures 4 to 9).
- the ejection arms 18, 19 are supplied with the target by supply chutes 20, 21, said supply chutes are in an inclined plane and receive the targets or "rabbit" 22 which are distributed, in known manner, by a barrel 23.
- Said barrel 23 is disposed above the chassis 1 of the target launcher.
- the motor 2 and the reduction gear 3 drive, by a pendulum movement, a cocking rod 4,5 which is itself secured at its end, to a cocking plate 6,7.
- Each arming plate acts, by an arming trigger 8, 9, on an ejection arm 18, 19 by bandaging the ejection spring 24, 25.
- a locking pin 26, 27 which acts as an ejection trigger is disposed in an electromagnetic casing 28, 29 for triggering firing.
- Each ejection arm 18, 19 has its axis of rotation which is coaxial with the axis of rotation of the cocking rod 4,5.
- Said cocking rod 4.5 being itself integral with the reducer 3.
- the motor 2 is arranged vertically with, in its extension at its lower part, the reducer 3. Perpendicular to the reducer 3, is arranged on either side of each side , a cocking rod 4,5 which comes from said reduction gear 3. The end of each of these cocking rods 4,5 is secured to a cocking plate 6,7.
- Each 6.7 armament board is animated by the same pendulum movement.
- this pendulum movement is approximately 180 ".
- Figures 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 highlight only one side of the target launcher. Of course, there are the same elements on both sides of the reducer 3 and this, for each cocking rod 4.5 and each cocking plate 6.7.
- Figure 4 shows the position called "zero position" of the gearbox.
- the arming plate 7, integral with the axis of the reducer 3, has a pendulum movement of 180 * amplitude.
- Figure 5 shows the device after ejection.
- the dashed line shows the trajectory of the arming finger 30 of the ejection arm 18.
- This figure 5 shows the coaxial intersection of the reduction axis 3, axis of the ejection arm not shown.
- the cocking trigger 9 is mounted articulated around an axis 31, it is itself provided with a return spring not shown, it also includes a stop 32.
- FIG. 3 highlights the arming movement caused by the reduction gear 3 and its arming rod 5.
- the trigger 9 pushes the arming finger 30 from the ejection arm 18.
- FIG. 7 shows the extreme position of the pendulum movement of the reducer in the position called the arming position.
- the arming finger 30 has then passed the axis of rotation of the ejection arm 18.
- the arming finger 30 is in the position ready to eject.
- FIG. 8 shows the return to zero position of the reducer with its plate 7 and its cocking trigger 9.
- the cocking finger of the ejection arm remains in position 30 as shown in FIG. 8.
- the arm d ejection 18 is only maintained, blocked by its locking finger, its locking lug 26 which acts as an ejection trigger. Thanks to the electromagnetic box 28 or 29, firing will take place regardless of the pendulum movement of the reducer. As soon as the locking pin 26 will be released, the ejection arm will have made a full turn and ejected its target 22.
- Figure 9 highlights the ejection or firing phase, the ejection spring 24 or 25 causes the rotation of the ejection arm 18 or 19, which thus allows the ejection of the target 22 which has been previously placement in said ejection arm 18 or 19.
- the rotation of the ejection arm is done, of course, at the same time as the movement of the finger 30.
- This finger as shown in FIG. 9, pushes the cocking trigger 9, thus allowing said finger to pass by retracting said trigger. Said trigger will return to its original place by the effect of its return spring, not shown.
- the two cocking rods 4 and 5 can arm each ejection arm as regards the firing of the ejection arms, it is carried out independently of said arming, it thus makes it possible to drop a doublet with all the desired parameters as to the period of time which must elapse between two shots. It is also possible to use said launch device piecemeal without doubling.
- One of the two cocking rods 4 or 5 is provided with an eccentric 33, which, with a rod or crank device 34, actuates the supply of the targets 22 by chutes 20, 21 in the ejection arms.
- the supply chutes 20 and 21 of the targets 22 come out at the end of each ejection arm 18,19, which end is opposite the articulation axis or axis of rotation of said ejection arms 18 , 19.
- Each supply chute 20,21 is inclined, its lower end has an inclined plane so that the targets 22 can exit from said supply chute 20,21 and come into place in the profile which acts as a raceway of each ejection arm 18.19.
