Abstract

L'invention concerne un arbre à cames destiné à un moteur à combustion interne et comportant un arbre porteur (1) et des zones de came de commande (2) dans lesquelles se trouve uniquement la face de commande de soupape (4) excentrique disposée sur un élément de came (5), mais en revanche pas la butée de position de fermeture (3) destinée à un organe de réglage de soupape (8) amené en position de fermeture. Des éléments de came (5) sont en saillie axiale par rapport à des corps de retenue (6) qui sont fixés solidaires en rotation sur l'arbre porteur (1), axialement à côté de la zone de came de commande (2). L'invention concerne également des mécanismes de distribution pourvus d'arbres à cames de ce type.
