Definitions
- the invention relates to a lamp with a light source and a reflector, the at least one convergent and at least one divergent reflector section having.
- Such reflectors are known. If that is different from the individual As a result, reflector sections can overlap illuminated surfaces Inaccuracies of the reflector are compensated and thus the Production tolerances are increased.
- a faceted reflector surface has that Disadvantage that they are due to the facets in their appearance to the viewer restless and therefore less visually appealing. Furthermore, it can be done through reflection on the facets even outside the actual lighting angle of the lamp local glare are coming.
- the object of the invention is to provide a new type of lamp, which is used in a excellent light distribution has a visually appealing appearance and has relatively large fault tolerances in manufacture.
- this is achieved in a luminaire of the type mentioned at the outset by that at least one of the convergent or divergent reflector sections in is essentially provided with a facet covering the entire area faceted reflector section subsequent divergent or convergent Reflector section has a smooth inner surface.
- the switch between the faceted and smooth surface runs essentially on the border between the two reflector sections.
- the lamp has two Reflector sections, of which the inner, the light source adjacent Reflector section is convergent and faceted and the outer adjoining Reflector section is divergent and smooth.
- the preferred embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 reflector according to the invention has an inner, the light source 1 adjacent convergent reflector section 2 and then a divergent outside Reflector section 3.
- the reflector is made in one piece and the two Reflector sections 2, 3 are continuous and kink-free in the transition region 8 connected.
- the term convergent reflector section means that two Rays 4, 5 converging on adjacent points of a cross-sectional line Hit reflector section 2, intersect in the further beam path. Rays, that point to adjacent points of a cross-sectional line of the divergent Reflector section 3 hit, on the other hand, run in the further beam path apart.
- the angle of the beam changes in the transition area 8 between the two sections 2, 3 not.
- the angle of reflection of the most divergent Reflector section 3 reflected rays 9-14 decrease from the inside to the outside, so that the angle of reflection ⁇ of the outermost beam 14 is again approximately 0 °.
- the area illuminated by the lamp as a whole is therefore both Reflector sections 2, 3 fully illuminated, the im Transition area 8 between the two reflector sections 2, 3 reflected Rays lie just on the outer edge of the illuminated area.
- the reflector section 2 has facets 15 provided while the reflector section 3 is smooth, i.e. is unfacetted.
- the facets 15 of section 2 can be designed as cylinder, torus or spherical surfaces and be concave, convex or mixed concave / convex.
- the arrangement of the facets can be plaster-shaped (with spherical facets), or the facets can according to the embodiment shown along radial lines 16 of the Be arranged reflector.
- the facets are designed such that a parallel beam for example expanded to 2x15 °.
- the optimal degree of expansion is from depending on the shape of the total reflector and is usually between 2x10 ° and 2x40 ° between 2x15 ° and 2x30 °.
- the beam expansion caused by the faceting 15 causes the Structure of the light source 1 is not mapped onto the surface illuminated by the lamp becomes. Such an image could be by the reflector section 3 alone are caused, the superimposition with the light from the reflector section 2 causes however that no or hardly such an annoying image from Viewer can be perceived. Since the faceting 15 just at the Border between the two reflector sections 2, 3 ends, the from Edge area of the faceting 15 reflected rays straight to the edge of the pictured illuminated area. Any the edge area of the faceting touch any another location of the reflector, this edge area would be within the Illuminated area are mapped and become perceptible and distracting Discontinuities in illuminance result. At the edge of the illuminated On the other hand, such discontinuities do not disturb the surface, since there is already a discontinuity in Form of a change between light and dark.
- the reflector surface is used for both the faceted and the smooth area preferably specular or high-gloss, for example in the form of shiny or anodized aluminum.
- the reflector according to the invention makes it uniform To achieve light distribution with relatively large manufacturing tolerances, further from Avoid facets of local glare and optically special to provide an appealing reflector.
- a reflector according to the invention can also have more than two reflector sections have, the total area illuminated by the lamp several times can be illuminated so that there are deviations from the optimal light distribution find out even better. At least one of the sections is faceted and at least one of the sections is smooth, alternating between faceted and smooth in the border area between a converged and a diverged section of the reflector.
