Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Gasbrenner (12) für Heizgeräte, insbesondere Wassererhitzer, mit einer aus Rippen (28, 30, 32) (Lamellen) bestehenden und gestuft strukturierten Brennerplatte (26), die zwischen sich Kanäle (34) zum Durchtritt eines Brennstoff-Luftgemisches bildet und im Bereich der brennraumseitigen Mündungen der Kanäle (34) unter Flammenbildung reagiert.
Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Rippen (28, 30, 32) an ihren brennraumseitigen Längsrändern mit im Abstand aufeinanderfolgenden, erhöhten Randbereichen (36, 38) versehen sind. Das hat den Vorteil, daß die Rippen nur leicht unterschiedlich geformt sind und eine weitgehend gleichmäßige Ausdehnung der Rippen im Betrieb des Brenners erreicht wird.
