Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de retraitement de résidus qui contiennent des composés dihydroxy et sont obtenus lors de la production de polyesters. Selon ce procédé, (1) dans une première étape, un acide dicarboxylique ou ses esters ou dérivés formant des esters avec un excédent molaire d'un composé hydroxy sont estérifiés ou transestérifiés; (2) dans au moins une deuxième étape, le produit d'estérification obtenu selon (1) est polycondensé; et (3) les vapeurs (a) et (b) produites selon (1) et (2) sont soumises à un traitement pour récupérer les substances initiales. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que le traitement en vue de récupérer les substances initiales s'effectue en présence d'un composé alcalin ou alcalino-terreux en une quantité comprise entre 0,5 et 10 % en poids, exprimée sous forme de métal alcalin ou de métal alcalino-terreux, par rapport à la teneur en solides des vapeurs.
