Definitions

  • the invention relates to a water separation system for separating water from a water / water / steam mixture with at least one inlet pipe arranged on the circumference of a container and with an outlet pipe for steam provided above the inlet pipe.
  • Such, e.g. Water separation system with a water separator known from German published patent application DE 42 42144 AI is usually used in the evaporation system of a once-through or forced-flow steam generator. It serves to separate water from a water / water / steam mixture at the end of a heating surface of the steam generator, referred to as an evaporator. This is to prevent water from entering subsequent superheater heating surfaces.
  • a disturbance of the medium-side loading of the heating surface inlets leads to different mass flows in the heating surfaces as a result of heating. The resulting different cooling can lead to undue excess temperatures and thus damage to the pipes of the heating surfaces.
  • the water / water / steam mixture which often flows tangentially into the water separator via the inclined inlet pipes is separated in a container as a result of a combination of the effects of gravity and flying force.
  • the water is separated on the container walls and flows downwards, while the steam is first led downwards due to the inclination of the inlet pipes and is drawn off in the upper region of the container following a flow reversal in the separator.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a water separation system with a particularly high separation quality.
  • the invention is based on the consideration of relieving the fluid flow of an existing water separator by pre-separating a partial steam flow.
  • the or each inlet tube is arranged on the circumference of the container at an incline and / or tangentially.
  • the separating device comprises a pipe bend and a partial steam flow line.
  • this separator arranged upstream of the container of the water separator system and arranged parallel to it, steam is drawn off before the actual water separator using the pressure difference across the container of the water separator system, and this steam can be mixed with the steam flowing out of the water separator.
  • the upstream separation device can be flowed in from above or from below.
  • the pipe bend of the separating device can therefore be curved upwards or downwards.
  • a drainage of the upstream separation device to the container of the water separator should be provided.
  • a drainage line can be connected to the partial steam flow line and / or a drainage vessel can be connected to the partial steam flow line.
  • the end of the partial steam flow line facing the pipe bend is expediently branched, while in the case of a downward curved pipe bend the end of the steam flow line facing this is preferably designed to be siphon-like.
  • the steam lines from the tank of the water separator and the upstream separation device can be brought together directly behind the water separator or in a higher-level collection system.
  • the outlet pipe and the partial steam flow line are then connected to one another or to the common collection system.
  • Partial steam flow the pressure loss in the water separation system is reduced. As a result of the resulting reduced steam flow to the actual separator, the steam speed in the separator is reduced, so that entrainment of water drops in the separated steam flow is avoided.
  • the design of the separating device in the form of a pipe bend with a connected partial steam flow line also enables particularly small dimensions and small wall thicknesses of the actual separator. This in turn leads to a particularly low total pressure loss in the water separation system and, due to the small wall thicknesses, to particularly favorable behavior in the event of temperature changes.
  • FIG. 1 shows a water separation system with an inlet pipe bend curved upwards
  • FIG. 2 shows a water separation system according to FIG. 1 with a downward-curved and an upwardly curved inlet pipe bend
  • FIG. 3 shows a detail of a section along the line III-III in FIG. 2 with a siphon-shaped pipe bend.
  • the water separating system 1 comprises a closed container 2 with an inclined inlet pipe 4 and an axially arranged outlet pipe 6 as well as an axial water drain 8.

  • the axial outlet pipe 6 instead of the axial outlet pipe 6, several, e.g. be drawn or inclined, exhaust pipes.
  • the inlet pipe 4 merges on the inflow side into an upwardly curved pipe bend 10 which, together with a steam partial flow line 12 connected in the bend area, connects a pipe upstream of the tank 2 and arranged parallel to it Separating device 14 forms.
  • the partial steam flow line 12 is connected to the outlet pipe 6, which opens into a steam collecting system 16.
  • a water / water / steam mixture G flows over the pipe bend 10 of the inlet pipe 4 into the container 2.
  • the flow towards the pipe bend 10 takes place from above.
  • a partial steam flow D is drawn off in front of the container 2 via the pipe bend 10 and the partial steam flow line 12 and fed to the steam system 16 behind the container 2.
  • the partial steam flow D is set according to the pressure conditions in the water separation system 1, i.e. in container 2 and in parallel or steam partial flow line 12.
  • the steam is first led downward due to the inclination of the inlet pipes 4 and, after a flow reversal in the container 2, is drawn off axially at the top.
  • the flow pattern is shown by curve 20.
  • the fluidic cross section narrows Q, so that the flow velocity increases and the pressure loss increases.
  • the separation quality would now become worse since droplets are entrained at high speeds.
  • the parallel flow of the partial steam flow D in front of the container 2 avoids this, since the quantity of steam supplied to the container 2 and thus the steam speed is now comparatively low.
  • FIG. 2 shows the container 2 with two inlet pipes 4. While the pipe bend 10 shown on the right side of the figure is curved upwards, the pipe bend 10 'shown on the left side of the figure is curved downwards.
  • a dewatering vessel 22 is connected to the branch steam line 12 that branches at the end facing the pipe bend 10 and is connected to the lower region of the container 2 via a dewatering line 23.
  • the downward-curved pipe bend 10 ' is drained via a siphon 24, which is part of the partial steam flow line 12'.
  • the siphon 24 is also connected to the lower region of the container 2 via a drainage line 25.
  • the siphon-like design of the end of the steam partial flow line 12 'facing the pipe bend 10' is shown in FIG.
  • the partial steam flow lines 12, 12 ' are connected to the outlet pipe 6. As shown in dashed lines on the left side of FIG. 2, the partial steam flow line 12 'can also be connected directly to the steam collecting system 16. In order to influence the pressure loss in the steam partial flow line 12 ′, a throttle or a valve 26 is connected to it.
  • inlet pipes 4 distributed around the circumference of the container 2 can be provided with any combination of upward and downward curved pipe bends 10, 10 ', the number of inlet pipes 4 should be limited to a few, since with an increasing number of inlet pipes 4 the Outflow conditions of the beam represented by curve 20 is disturbed.
  • a particularly high separation quality is achieved due to favorable flow conditions in the container 2.
  • particularly small dimensions of the water separation system 1 can be selected, so that particularly favorable conditions with regard to temperature changes are given.
  • the pressure loss in the water separation system 1 is particularly low, in particular when operating at full load.
