Definitions

  • the distributor and the distribution cover belong to the stator and are generally secured and locked in rotation relative to each other to obtain a very relative angular position precise of the distributor and of the reaction member which is itself integral in rotation of the distribution cover.
  • different systems have been proposed. So, we provided the distributor of a radial flange extending between the cylinder block and the distribution cover and an axial pin was placed to secure the flange and distribution cover. Other stud and notch systems were also planned.
  • the dispenser must be perfectly wedged in the distribution cover and the regions of the first and second faces of connection respectively connected to the supply duct and to the exhaust pipes must obviously be perfectly insulated compared to others, so that seals should be provided between these first and second connection faces, these seals being precisely positioned.
  • the present invention aims to provide a simplified system allowing setting in rotation of the distributor and the distribution cover and also making it easier to mount the motor, that is to say, by particular, to simplify the assembly of the sub-assembly constituted by the distributor and the distribution cover with respect to the cylinder block, in axially holding the distributor in the distribution cover while by making possible the axial travel of the distributor necessary for the functioning and barely sufficient to guarantee the maintenance of the joints sealing in their housing without risk of damaging them.
  • the dispensing cover and the distributor present respectively a first and a second axial portions in which at least one is respectively provided first substantially radial housing and at least one second housing substantially radial defining at least a first pair of housings located opposite, to the fact that the first housing has a first wall element located at the axial end of this first housing which is next to the cylinder block, while the second housing has a second wall element located at the axial end of this second housing which is distant from the cylinder block, to the fact that the engine comprises a rotation locking pin disposed in said first and second housing so as to extend substantially radially, at one of the first and second housings has radial dimensions larger than the dimensions of the pin measured along the axis of rotation to allow axial movement of the dispenser relative to the cover distribution, and the fact that one of the first and second dwellings is a substantially radial through passage through which the pin is susceptible to be put in place.
  • the distributor is rotated and held axially in the cover of distribution thanks to the pin which cooperates in abutment at the same time with the first and with the second wall element and just hold the cover distribution to control the installation of the subset of distribution on the cylinder block until the distribution faces and of communication come into contact.
  • the first and second axial portions are respectively formed in an axial extension internal of the distribution cover through which the first housing passes and in an axial portion of the dispenser having an external axial periphery in which the second housing forms a recess, and the motor includes means to allow insertion of the locking pin in said first and second housings from the external radial side said internal axial extension.
  • the first housing which constitutes a through passage
  • the second housing is a simple recess.
  • the installation of the pin is carried out from the external radial side of the distribution cover extension, which side is often the most easily accessible.
  • the motor shaft 20A and the brake shaft 20B are secured in rotation with the cylinder block by cooperation of axial splines, respectively 24A and 24B that have their peripheries, with axial grooves complementary to the bore 8 of the cylinder block.
  • the motor shaft 20A is supported in rotation in the casing 2A by roller bearings 26.
  • the internal space of the casing 2A is sealed on the shaft 20A by seals sealing 28.
  • the braking device placed inside the 2D part of the housing comprises a first series of brake plates 30 integral in rotation with the shaft 20B and a second series of brake plates integral in rotation of the 2D brake housing.
  • the slats of series 30 and 32 are interposed into each other.
  • a brake piston 34 is biased by a spring washer 36 to urge the slats of series 30 and 32 in contact with friction, so as to ensure braking.
  • a brake release chamber 38 capable of being supplied with fluid through a conduit 40 is located on the side of the brake piston 34 which is turned towards the cylinder block. Setting pressure of this chamber has an antagonistic effect to that of the spring washer 36 and thus ensures brake release.
  • Grooves 42 and 44 are formed between the internal periphery of the part 2C of the casing, which constitutes the second connection face 49 and the external periphery of the distributor 16, which constitutes the first face of connection 47.
  • the distribution conduits such as the conduit 18 shown in dashed lines, extend between one of these grooves and the face of distribution 46 of the distributor which is in abutment against the face of communication 48 of the cylinder block.
  • the distribution conduits (18) can be alternately connected to cylinder ducts (50) to supply the cylinders with pressurized fluid or allow the escape of the fluid out of these cylinders.
  • Gorges 42 and 44 are themselves connected to main supply conduits and exhaust formed in part 2C of the casing, called “cover distribution ".
  • a main supply conduit or exhaust 52 connected to the groove 42, while the other leads main 54 (located outside the cutting plane) connected to the groove 44 is only started with broken lines.
  • the grooves 42 and 44 are stepped relative to each other. They are insulated by seals ensuring tight contact between axial portions of the connection faces 47 and 49.
  • a first joint annular 62 is located on the side of the groove 42 opposite the cylinder block
  • a second seal 64 is located between grooves 42 and 44
  • a third seal 66 is located on the side of the groove 44 near the cylinder block.
  • the motor shown in Figure 1 has a single displacement.
  • the invention also applies to a two-displacement motor, in which case a third groove stepped relative to grooves 42 and 44, as well as a displacement selection drawer, likely to selectively connect the throats and hydraulically controlled, for example using an auxiliary fluid, could be expected.
  • the distribution cover may include other conduits than the main supply and exhaust ducts, for example the control for the displacement selection drawer or other conduits enabling auxiliary functions to be carried out, engine has one or two operating displacements.
  • this cover has a leak return duct allowing the evacuation of fluid leaks likely to occur inside the housing, particular between the distribution 46 and communication 48 faces.
  • a leakage return pipe 56 is only primed by broken lines.
  • the distribution face 46 is held in abutment against the face of communication 48 by one or more mechanical springs 58. Instead and instead of this mechanical support, hydraulic support can be provided.
  • the motor shown is a motor with a rotating shaft and a fixed casing.
  • the housing can for example be fixed to the chassis of a vehicle using the flange 60 which constitutes a radial extension of the distribution cover 2C.
  • the distribution cover 2C has a first axial portion 70 extending opposite a second axial portion 72 belonging to the distributor 16. These two axial portions extend inside the casing, the first axial portion 70 being for example constituted by a internal axial extension of the distribution cover 2C, extending towards the cylinder block from a substantially radial face 74 of the cover distribution, itself located at a distance from the cylinder block.
  • the second axial portion 72 which belongs to the distributor 16 is formed under the extension 70 and extends over a region of the distributor located between the seal 66 which isolates the groove 44 closest to the cylinder block, on the side facing the cylinder block and the distribution face 46 of the distributor.
  • a first housing 76 is formed in the first portion axial 70, while a second housing 78 is provided in the second axial portion 72.
  • the housings 76 and 78 are arranged opposite when the distributor 16 is placed in the distribution cover 2C and extend substantially radially, i.e. they both have dimensions allowing them to receive a pin 80 arranged substantially radially.
  • the first housing 76 has a wall element which is situated at the axial end of this first housing next to the cylinder block.
  • this wall element is not referenced since the housing 76 is in fact a simple drilling which crosses right through the extension 70, itself finger-shaped axial.
  • the housing 76 is therefore cylindrical and has a continuous wall all over its periphery.
  • the second housing 78 has a wall element 79 which is located at its axial end remote from the cylinder block 6.
  • the pin blocking device 80 is arranged in the first and second housings, that is to say that it extends both in the first and in the second housing, and thus allows to block the dispenser 16 relative to the cover of distribution 2C, with respect to rotation around axis 10, while holding the distributor 16 axially in the distribution cover 2C.
  • the distribution face 46 of the distributor 16 must bear against the communication face 48 of the cylinder block.
  • the distributor must have with an axial displacement capacity, even when the pin 80 is put in place in housings 76 and 78.
  • one of the housings has axial dimensions greater than the diameter of the pin (diameter which, the pin being arranged substantially radially, is measured along the axis 10).
  • the housing 76 is a cylindrical bore of diameter similar to that of the pin, and it is the housing 78 which has an axial length greater than the diameter of the pin and thus allows the axial travel required. Note that to allow this slight axial travel while achieving axial support which facilitates mounting, the housing 78 is dimensioned so that the distribution face 46 comes to bear on the communication face 48 before the pin comes into axial abutment contact against the wall element 79.
  • the insertion of the pin 80 by the external radial side of the extension 70 is made possible by the causes the finger which forms this extension 70 to extend axially beyond of the axial face 82 of the outer flange 60 of the distribution cover 2C.
  • the drilling 76 is carried out in a part of the finger 70 which makes axially projecting from the portions of the distribution cover 2C located radially above finger 70.
  • the insertion of the pin is further facilitated by the fact that the radial face 74 is set back by relative to the axial end 82.
  • a clearance zone 84 is formed on the radial side external to the finger 70.
  • the finger 70 extends not only inside part 2C of the housing, but also under the part 2B of this casing, that is to say under an element of the casing distinct from the distribution cover and assembled with the latter. So, as we see in Figure 2, the installation of the pin is extremely easy before assembling parts 2B and 2C of the housing.
  • the second housing 78 in the form of a bore passing through the axial portion 72 of the dispenser, in a region free of distribution ducts, which would allow insert the pin through the internal radial side before installing tree 20B.
  • it would rather be the first housing 76 which have the axial dimensions greater than the diameter of the pin to allow the axial movement of the dispenser relative to the cover 2C.
  • the first housing 76 is constituted by a hole of dimensions adapted to receive the pin 80 substantially without play, while the second housing is constituted by a simple notch made from the nearest axial end of the dispenser of the cylinder block 6.
  • the first and second axial portions are respectively provided in areas of the distribution cover 2C and distributor 16 which are adjacent to the cylinder block. Indeed, these areas are generally the most accessible for allow the insertion of the pin once the distributor 16 is disposed inside the distribution cover 2C.
  • the pin 80 is preferably forcibly engaged in the housing 76.
  • the pin 80 has an external periphery which, in its majority, has a radius at most equal to that of the hole, but which is with grooves locally giving it a radius greater than that of hole 76.
  • the splines crush to adapt to the radius of the hole and the pin is thus held by force.
  • Another solution is to use a pin of a length such that when inserted substantially without play in the hole 76 and housed in the recess 78, its free end outside the hole 76 is close to the internal face of the casing 2B so as to be maintained in an axial position.
  • the distributor is locked in rotation and held axially in the distribution cover, since its extraction in the direction of arrow F1 is prevented by the pin, while that its extraction in the direction of arrow F2 is prevented by the cooperation of the radial end 81 of the distributor with the shoulder 83 of the distribution cover.
  • the displacement of the distributor in the direction of arrow F2 relative to the cover 2C is prevented from the fact that the connection faces are stepped, the diameter of their respective axial portions decreasing in the direction of the arrow F2.
  • part 2C of the housing is connected to part 2B by screws 3A, the shaft 20B and the braking system can be put in place, preferably from above, so without changing the mounting position of the engine.
  • the housings 76 and 78 belong to a first pair.
  • the motor comprises at least a second pair of dwellings having first and second dwellings respectively similar to housings 76 and 78, as well as a second pin blocking arranged in the housings of the second pair.
  • This arrangement makes it possible to balance the tangential forces acting on the locking pins.
  • We can for example choose two diametrically opposite pairs, or three pairs offset 120 °.
  • the motor advantageously comprises an additional housing, similar to one of the first and second housings of the pair and angularly offset by in relation to the accommodation to which it is analogous.
  • this additional accommodation can be analogous to the housing 76, also located on the axial portion 70 and in the same plane transverse. It can also be similar to housing 78 by being arranged on the axial portion 72.
