Abstract

Der Scheinwerfer weist eine Linse (16) auf, durch die von einer Lichtquelle ausgesandtes und durch einen Reflektor reflektiertes Licht hindurchtritt. Außerdem ist ein die Linse (16) auf wenigstens einem Teil ihres Umfangs umgebendes wenigstens teilweise lichtdurchlässiges Element (40) vorgesehen, durch das von der Lichtquelle ausgesandtes, vom Reflektor nicht erfaßbares Licht hindurchtreten kann. Das Element (40) weist an seiner dem Reflektor zugewandten Seite ringförmige optische Profile (42) zur Bildung einer Fresnellinse auf und an seiner in Lichtaustrittsrichtung (14) weisenden Seite erhabene Profile (46). Die Profile (46) sind mit in Lichtaustrittsrichtung (14) weisenden Abflachungen (48) versehen, auf die eine reflektierende Beschichtung (44) aufgebracht ist, wobei die zwischen den Profilen (46) liegenden Bereiche des Elements (40) keine Beschichtung aufweisen, so daß dort Licht durch das Element (40) hindurchtreten kann. Durch die Fresnellinse wird von der Lichtquelle ausgesandtes und durch das Element (40) hindurchtretendes Licht gesammelt während von außen auf das Element (40) treffendes Licht durch die Beschichtung (44) reflektiert wird.

The headlight has a lens (16) through which light emitted by a light source and reflected by a reflector passes. The profiles (46) are provided with flats (48) pointing in the light exit direction (14), to which a reflective coating (44) is applied, the areas of the element (40) lying between the profiles (46) having no coating, so that light can pass through the element (40) there. The Fresnel lens collects light emitted by the light source and passes through the element (40), while light hitting the element (40) from outside is reflected by the coating (44).
