Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for rotating a Valve according to the preamble of claim 1, and a valve device for an engine and a Motor according to the respective independent claim.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to propose a turning device for a valve, which are very simple in terms of their design effort and is consequently also relatively inexpensive, and that of Assembly effort is simple.
  • the device according to the invention for rotating the valve thus includes in particular a freewheel device, which is a rotation of the valve about its longitudinal axis allowed, but only in one of the two possible Rotation.
  • the freewheel device has two Gearing pieces whose gearing with each other in Intervention can be brought. Furthermore, the Freewheel device still a drive spring.
  • the device according to the invention is according to the Assembling the valve and the device for turning same the valve with the one piece of gear connected while it is with the other piece of gear is not connected.
  • the gear pieces are like this arranged that their teeth, which are at an angle to Longitudinal valve axis are formed when Move the gear pieces towards each other and away from each other so that the gear pieces when moving towards each other and are rotatable away from each other.
  • the driver spring is designed as a wrap spring, which with the gear piece that is not with the Valve is connected, arranged in such a cooperative manner is that when moving the gear pieces towards each other there is no rotation of the valve at which Movement of the gear pieces away from each other the valve rotates, or vice versa. Therefore the freewheel device thus comprises two Gear pieces and a wrap spring is constructive very simple and therefore also comparatively inexpensive and easy to assemble.
  • the wrap spring encloses the base part and the first Gear piece in the direction of the valve longitudinal axis at least partially and is firmly attached to both.
  • This Embodiment is very easy to assemble and demountable. (In principle, it would also be conceivable that Wrap spring in the base part or in the first Gearing or in both parts).
  • the second gear piece with a support plate connected, the backing plate and the second Gear piece in the direction of the valve longitudinal axis immovable relative to one another, however, about the valve longitudinal axis are rotatable against each other.
  • a return spring is arranged on the support plate.
  • the interlocking of the two Gear pieces and the winding direction of the Wrap spring designed so that when moving the second tooth piece on the first tooth piece too no rotation of the second tooth piece and thus of the valve, but the first Gear piece twisted freely.
  • This Embodiment is particularly for an exhaust valve suitable because with this the rotation when closing the Valve should take place.
  • the interlocking of the two Gear pieces and the winding direction of the Wrap spring designed so that when moving the second tooth piece on the first tooth piece to a rotation of the second tooth piece and thus of the valve is done while no rotation of the first Gear piece is done.
  • Such devices are suitable for rotating a valve especially for valve devices of engines, especially diesel engines.
  • valve 1 shows a typical valve device, as used for example in diesel engines comes.
  • a valve 1 can be seen which is in the closed position State is arranged in a valve seat 2 (solid lines), the valve 1 is dash-dotted recognizable even in the open state.
  • a device for rotating the valve 1 which is generally designated by the reference number 3.
  • the Contact area i.e. the area in which the valve 1 on valve seat 2 is here for reasons of depicted in a simplified manner for better clarity, since Fig. 1 is only an overview, the should clarify which part is the Device according to the invention for rotating the valve is.
  • the device 3 for rotating the valve comprises a base part 30, a first toothing piece 31, a second toothing piece 32, a driver spring in Form of a wrap spring 33, a support plate 34, a arranged between base part 30 and support plate 34 Return spring 35, and a between the support plate 34th and the second toothing piece 32 Ball bearing 36. Furthermore, some are still not clearly identified designated lubricating oil holes in the individual parts.
  • the valve stem, not shown (and thus the Valve) is means in the device shown one conical connection (press fit) with the second Gear piece 32 connected (such as this in Fig. 1 is indicated by dashed lines).
  • the base part 30 and the first tooth piece 31 are connected to each other by means of a locking ring 37 (secured) in such a way that the base part 30 and the first tooth piece 31 in the direction of Longitudinal valve axis are immovable against each other.
  • the base part 30 and the toothing piece 31 basically rotatable against each other.
  • the wrap feather 33 encloses both the base part 30 and the first Gear piece 31 each partially and is tight both parts. This is achieved in that the Inner diameter of the wrap spring 33 slightly smaller is selected as the outer diameter of the base part 30 and the first tooth piece 31 in the areas in which the wrap spring 33 comes to rest. To this A weak press fit of the wrap spring 33 becomes wise reached.
  • the toothing 320 can be seen in FIG in one area on the outer wall of the second Gear piece 32 is provided and a corresponding toothing 310 on the inner wall of the first Gear piece 31.
  • the toothing 320 on the The outer wall of the second tooth piece 32 is through the dashed or dash-dotted lines indicated, the dash-dotted line the course of the Toothing 320 on the outer wall "in front" of the drawing plane represents, and the dashed line the course of the Interlocking "behind" the drawing level.
  • the toothing 320 runs diagonally to the valve longitudinal axis A.
  • the wrap spring 33 which is also shown in Fig. 3 has the shape of a spring block with the length L on, so the individual turns are tightly packed each other.
  • the Total inner surface of the wrap spring 33 cylindrical shape, causing the surface pressure against the base part 30 and the first tooth piece 31 can be kept lower (the spring lies biased to) than with a different spring cross section.
  • the wrap spring 33 works such that at one Torsional load of the spring the spring itself in radial Direction stretches or contracts. Whether it stretches or moving in depends on whether the Direction of torsional load with the sense of winding Wrap spring 33 matches or whether it Winding direction of the wrap spring 33 opposite is oriented.
  • the return spring 35 is in the embodiment designed as a spiral spring according to the drawing figures, which are compressible in the direction of the valve longitudinal axis and is stretchy.
  • valve is initially closed (solid line in Fig. 1), then opened becomes (dash-dotted line in Fig. 1), and afterwards is closed again (solid line in Fig. 1).
  • the valve is over with the second tooth piece 32 the cone connection is firmly connected.
  • the opening and The valve can be closed using a (not shown) camshaft controlled like this is common for engines.
  • the valve is closed using the Return spring 35, which is on the support plate 34th supports and the support plate 34 together with the second Gear piece 32 again in the direction of Longitudinal valve axis A moved back (here upwards).
  • the gear pieces 31 and 32 following their respective toothing 310 or 320 twist against each other.
  • the first tooth piece 31 can so do not twist, such twisting is caused by the Wrap spring 33 prevents - the first tooth piece is therefore held.
  • the one desired for an exhaust valve Mode of operation of the device achieved:
  • the valve is not twisted when opening, but is closed when closed it twisted, possibly on the valve surface accumulated deposits stripped or be sanded, reducing the life of the valve elevated.
  • Embodiment could e.g. the wrap spring 33 within the base part 30 and the first Gear piece 31 to be pressed in under pretension.
