Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mounting device for mounting a fuel injection valve, in particular a high-pressure direct injection valve, in a receiving bore of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine.
  • the high-pressure direct injection valve injects fuel directly into the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine.
  • the invention is based on a Montagevomchtung according to the preamble of the main claim. It is already known from DE 43 15 233 AI to provide a mounting device designed as a sealing sleeve for mounting a fuel injection valve on a direct-injection internal combustion engine, which surrounds the fuel injection valve via an axial section and which is pressed tightly onto the cylinder head by means of a clamping claw.

  • DE 44 13 415 Cl shows a further assembly device with which a fuel injection valve can be mounted in a receiving bore in a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. Lateral flats are provided on the nozzle holder of the fuel injector to be assembled in order to form support surfaces for a clamping claw. By tightening the clamping claw, the fuel injector to be assembled is fully pressed into the mounting hole in the cylinder head. Even with this known assembly device, it is not possible to dismantle the fuel injector for repair and maintenance work. Rather, the fuel injector must be pulled out of the receiving bore with another suitable tool after loosening and dismantling the clamping claw, as a result of which the fuel injector can be damaged.
  • the mounting device according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the fuel injector can not only be pressed into the receiving bore of the cylinder head, but, since the mounting device according to the invention allows the application of a tensile force, the fuel injector also for repair and maintenance purposes from Receiving hole of the cylinder head can be pulled out.
