Definitions

  • the invention relates to a medical or dental medicine Dental chair.
  • the upright support arm a so-called parallelogram support arm with two juxtaposed parallelogram arms, which in the sense of a Articulated quadrilateral with a support arm base part and a support arm head part are connected.
  • This known arm is in a right angle to the axes of the four-bar pivoting plane tiltable and thus in its inclination adjustable, as well as height adjustable.
  • an electrical Drive motor provided, which is integrated in the parallelogram support arm.
  • the upper end of the support arm leads to one A lateral curve movement because the simultaneous Adjustment of the inclination and height using the characteristics of the four-bar linkage is determined.
  • a height adjustment that is independent of the inclination setting not possible with this known configuration.
  • the latter is desirable order for the treating person a predeterminable removal position and a easy removal of the treatment tool at individual altitude To enable patients.
  • the document DE 32 30 248 A1 describes a medical or dental medical treatment chair with a storage device for at least one treatment tool, which is arranged in a lateral position with respect to the treatment chair on a substantially vertical support arm which is carried by a support which is horizontally adjustable, in particular is mounted on the treatment chair, the storage device being rotatably mounted relative to the support arm and / or the support arm relative to the carrier in each case about an approximately vertical joint axis of a joint, wherein the support arm is designed as a telescopic device and its length can be adjusted along its longitudinal axis by a height adjustment device and can be locked in the respective adjustment position by a locking device.
  • this known treatment chair is the Support arm designed in the sense of a telescopic device with two telescopic parts, which are adjustable relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the central axis of the support arm and can be determined in the respective setting. Due to the straightforwardness of the Height adjustment movement can be a desired in this embodiment Predetermine height position more easily.
  • the invention has for its object a medical or dental treatment chair like that design that while ensuring a simple design also a simple direct adjustment of the support arm is possible.
  • the support arm is upright, substantially vertically or obliquely, and the locking device is by a Detent device formed in the longitudinal direction of the telescopic device has locking edges or recesses one behind the other, one Locking nose in the recesses or behind the locking edges can be snapped into place.
  • the support arm is preferably in the sense of a telescopic device with two telescopic parts, which in the Longitudinal direction of the central axis of the support arm adjustable relative to each other and in the each setting can be determined, the Latching device comprises a perforated strip, in the locking holes one between a locking position and one Release position of the movably mounted latching lug under the force of a spring can be snapped into place.
  • the telescopic device is like this trained that the height adjustment can be done in stages. Due to the Straightness of the height adjustment movement can be done with the invention Design a desired height position much easier to predict.
  • the configuration according to the invention can be carried out in a simple manner realize, which also leads to a small and lightweight design. It is to be taken into account that in the configuration according to the invention the telescopic parts can be arranged directly next to each other or inside one another, which is the case with known Design with a quadrangle is not possible because the effectiveness of Quadrilateral joints would be impaired.
  • the height adjustment can be both realize manually as well as with a drive motor. In both cases due to the straight axial guidance between the telescopic parts not only one simple guidance but also a simple arrangement and integration of the motor realize.
  • the configuration according to the invention is particularly suitable in combination with a support arm which is tilted or inclined with respect to the vertical Position extends, with its base part rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation a carrier carrying it and / or the storage device is also connected is rotatably mounted on the support arm about a vertical axis of rotation.
  • This Design enables a targeted adjustment and adjustment of the Storage device relative to the treatment chair not only in the horizontal but also in the vertical, whereby the vertical adjustment is simple and can be carried out specifically because it takes place in the longitudinal direction of the support arm, and is therefore easy to determine in its direction.
  • Treatment chair namely advantageous for the dentist and / or the helper, one Storage device for treatment tools in the ergonomically favorable To have access area.
  • a convenient access area extends from one Area to the side of the treatment chair and over the treatment chair.
  • a Arrangement of the storage device above the treatment chair is at Height-adjustable treatment chairs are problematic. It would be possible that To position the storage device so high on an associated carrying device that they are in the uppermost position of the treatment chair over the latter is located, but then access is difficult because the person treating it is very must reach up to get to the treatment tool. Is that Storage device, however, too deep, there is a risk that when the Treatment chair the patient lying thereon or an attachment of the Dental chair bumps against the storage device, creating dangers of Injury or damage are specified.
  • a further development of the invention is therefore the medical or To design a dental treatment chair so that with warranty a user-friendly access to the storage device when starting up Avoid the risk of a collision with the storage device is.
  • the treatment chair is one between it and the Carrying device effective shutdown device provided, which then functions occurs and the dental chair lifting device switches off when the Dental chair or an attachment of the same or the patient lying on it approaches the support device beyond a predetermined distance or against Carrier presses. As a result, the aforementioned injuries or Damage avoided.
