Claims (9)

  1. Verfahren zur Auswahl von Säugetierschlachtkörpern zur Einführung in die menschliche Nahrungskette, worin die respiratorische Sinusarrhythmie der zu schlachtenden Tiere vor dem Schlachten gemessen wird, und nur die Schlachtkörper von Tieren, bei denen die assoziierte RSA normal ist, ausgewählt werden.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, worin Tiere ausgewählt werden, wenn die RSA innerhalb eines prädeterminierten Bereichs liegt.
  3. Verfahren zur Auswahl von Säugetieren zum Schlachten, worin die respiratorische Sinusarrhythmie der Tiere beurteilt wird, und die Tiere mit einer gemessenen abnormen RSA geschlachtet werden.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, worin Tiere ausgewählt werden, wenn die gemessene RSA außerhalb eines prädeterminierten Bereichs liegt.
  5. Verfahren nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, worin ein Messwert der RSA durch Analyse des Clustering-Grades einer Reihe von R-Zacken relativ zu den Atmungszyklen, in denen sie auftreten, berechnet wird, ein Test auf Zufälligkeit auf die analysierte Reihe von R-Zacken angewendet wird, um einen Bezugswert abzuleiten, der ein prädeterminiertes Signifikanzniveau für das Clustering der R-Zacken relativ zu den Atmungszyklen darstellt, und der gemessene Wert mit dem Bezugswert verglichen wird, wobei ein erheblicher Unterschied zwischen den Vergleichswerten zur Annahme führt, dass das Säugetier an einer degenerativen Himerkrankung leidet.
  6. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, worin ein Messwert der RSA durch Analyse eines EKG-Tachogramms zum Nachweis hochfrequenter Peaks, die mit der Atemfrequenz zusammenfallen, berechnet wird.
  7. Selektionsapparat für Tierschlachtkörper, umfassend Monitoring-Mittel zum Ableiten eines Messwertes der respiratorischen Sinusarrhythmie von Tieren vor dem Schlachten und Mittel zum Vergleich dieses Messwertes mit einem Bezugswert oder -bereich und folglich Herbeiführung eines Outputs, der anzeigt, ob einzelne Tiere eine normale RSA aufweisen oder nicht, wobei der Output zur Ermöglichung der Auswahl von Schlachtkörpern von nur den Tieren, für die der Output eine normale RSA anzeigt, verwendet wird.
  8. Selektionsapparat zur Auswahl von Tieren zum Schlachten, umfassend ein Monitoring-Mittel zum Ableiten eines Messwertes der respiratorischen Sinusarrhythmie der Tiere und Mittel zum Vergleich dieses Messwertes mit einem Bezugswert oder -bereich und folglich Herbeiführung eines Outputs, der anzeigt, welche Tiere eine gemessene abnorme RSA aufweisen, um das Schlachten solcher Tiere zu ermöglichen.
  9. Apparat nach Ansprüchen 7 oder 8, umfassend einen EKG-Monitor und einen Atmungsmonitor.
