Abstract

Es wird ein Plattenwärmetauscher, insbesondere Ölkühler, aus mehreren ineinandergesteckten, je aus einer Wärmetauscherplatte (2) mit umlaufendem Randsteg (3) gebildeten Strömungswannen (1) beschrieben, die abwechselnd miteinander über Durchtrittsöffnungen (5, 12) für die wärmeaustauschenden Medien verbunden sind. Um vorteilhafte Konstruktionsverhältnisse zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Durchtrittsöffnungen (12) zumindest der Strömungswannen (1) für eines der wärmeaustauschenden Medien im Bereich der Randstege (3) liegen und miteinander über wenigstens einen außen an die Randstege (3) der ineinandergesteckten Strömungswannen (1) angeschlossenen Anschlußkasten (9) für die Zu- bzw. Ableitung (10 bzw. 11) des Mediums verbunden sind.
